He literally can talk about the advancements in Audio/Video and home theater all day long which he did with me even though it was nearly 7pm on a Monday night. The thing that I was most impressed with was the fact that he is a perfectionist and if something didn't look or sound right to him he would make sure it did. He has an eye and ear that is more fine tuned for this than we consumers do and he'll let you know it if it isn't right even though we may think it is. He even went as far as calibrating the projector to THX certs on his Ipad for free!! He charged me for 2 hours labor even though he was here for well over 3 hours! When my front desk asked for a call back number and name so she can forward it to me the rep on the phone laughed and hung up(yes this is all recorded) When I called them back to find out what happened the rep then forgot to put it on hold and said "do you want to deal with these indians" and hung up the phone on me. I called back and now a gentleman picked up and said " i'll transfer you to the manger" and hangs up. I called again and forgets again to put me on hold and says "I wasnt suppose to pick up his phone i'm transferring it don't pick up" then proceeds to transfer me and the lady who initially made the derogatory statements picked up and says "oh f*** I wasnt suppose to pick up" and hung up I then called again and the same guy picked up and says "I didn't hang up I was transferring you to the owner" and I said then why all the derogatory statements and I then proceeded to tell him that I will send all the recordings to my attorney and he said his calls are also recorded. Just to put it out there I AM NOT INDIAN. I recommend not using them at all (this is not the first time i'm having an issue with them) and I will be canceling my account with them asap and recommend any minority owned companies to do the same due to Associated Security Corporation being a company that only caters and respects a majority race.

He spent about an hour with me to survey the job and then delivered his quote which was spot on despites some unforeseen anomalies with our house which we know is old and unfortunately, not always up to code. Nothing seemed to ruffle him as he found positive workarounds to each issue, vetting each one with us. The end result completely exceeded our expectation. Ken really delivered and although I think he is an IT/Home Theatre savant, more importantly, he's a good person who is a kind and thoughtful of others. Best money ever spent!

What began as a positive relationship eventually turned into repeated billing issues, including double charges and unexplained fees that required me to cancel autopay and change my card information. A major concern for future customers: Alarm New England locks their Honeywell Lyric panels with installer codes that they do not provide to the customer, even after the contract is fulfilled and the equipment is fully paid for. When I asked for the installer code, I was told I "did not have access" to it. This effectively prevents you from using your own hardware with another provider. Only after I sent a certified termination letter did the company suddenly reach out, offering to reset the code, but only if I powered the old panel back on, which I had already replaced. Service quality also declined over the years. One simple sensor installation took nearly an entire day, and phone hold times were often 20 minutes or more. I was also quoted an extremely high price for a basic battery replacement, which came with pressure to sign a new multi‑year contract. I have since switched to a local company that provides full access to my system, transparent pricing, and no long‑term contracts. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to research alternatives before committing to Alarm New England.

You guys, the reviews are not lying! Sometimes when a business has nothing but good reviews, it may seem too good to be true. I can assure you, they are as good as they seem online. I texted the number on the their site around 2:30pm. I got a response in about a minute, no joke! He arrived at my house at 4:45pm and was done in about 15 minutes or less. We had great conversation, he was very friendly and kind. I am extremely impressed with how prompt and efficient the installation was done and how the customer service was overall. I didn't get the gentleman's name but thank you so much!! I will definitely be recommending this business to all my friends and family!
