Have called, left messages, sent emails, keep getting the same answer "someone will call within 24 to 48 hours". Never got a call back. Paid a higher price thinking I would get a better product and better support. The roof was done quickly and seems to be a good product, but the support is absolutely terrible... Better off elsewhere...can't recommend them with such poor follow up. FOLLOW UP: After posting this review, they came out and saw the issue and said they would be back to fix it. A few days later a couple guys came out, ripped off the warping shingles and replace them. I will give it a couple days to settle in and post new pictures of the repair. For now I will up their rating to 3 stars, still a little perturbed that it took a negative review to get a response, but if the repair is good, I will be fair and update it again. As promised...follow up...the repairs seem decent and, after a struggle, they fulfilled their end of the deal, so i will give them 4 stars . Thank you for finally getting the job done.

I cannot rave enough about Ben and Busy Bee!!! He literally saved me tens of thousands of dollars…read morewhen he redid my roof just a few weeks ago. I bought my tiny, 1200 sq ft vintage 120 year old house about 2 years ago and knew when I bought it, we knew that the roof was in desperate need of a complete tear off and re-roof. As soon as I bought the house, I started seeking roof companies to come out and give me estimates. The estimates I received were all over the place, a few companies quoted me $50,000, one quoted me $24,000, one was $13,000 (but included a lien on my home), and 4 companies were an utter waste of time and never even got back to me. When I contacted Ben, I immediately knew I was in good hands, his demeanor is open, friendly, trustworthy, and honest. Not only did he quote me a mere fraction of what the other people did, he was quick to give me a bid, and to respond, fast to get started, fast to get a permit, and not AT ALL afraid to do the roof one bit like all the other companies seemed to be. He is extremely calm, friendly and knowledgeable, with over 40 years of roofing experience, with extensive framing and contractor knowledge as well, so he knew exactly what to do, and how a roof is supposed to look from the framing end, all the correct materials to order to make my roof look beautiful and last 30 years, and I felt completely secure and in very good hands with no fear of him trying to take advantage of me like I felt with the other companies. I was told by so many other roofers that I would need to pay them in addition to the new roof costs, an upwards of $20,000 ++ to rebuild all the eaves and framing, but once Ben got all the layers off, he was able to assess from his experience looking at roofs for 40+ years, that my beams and wood quality was absolutely fine, and the engineering was safe and perfect and that those other people were most likely just trying to take my money. He replaced all the termite and water damaged plywood for a low cost and redid the fascia trim for me with a beautiful redwood! I didn't have to hire an engineer or a general contractor, it saved me countless thousands. Ben also wasn't afraid to do the roof in the bad weather. He knew what to do to protect my house so it stayed dry during the storm by doing it in sections, and working diligently and very clean the entire time. He was respectful of noise in the early morning and keeping my yard safe and gates locked so my young toddlers couldn't get out. He ended up tearing off over 6 total layers of old roofs dated back to the original old wood shake roof from 1910! He put all new plywood where needed, trim and fresh under layer and then beautiful "moray black" shingles. The house looks amazing, and is safe now with no more leaks or fear of the roof caving in on my babies and all for unbelievably much less than I thought I was going to have to put out for the roof. Now we can get our kitchen remodeled....all thanks to Busy Bee!!! You saved my life!

The job started late (early December 2023) because Mike wanted to "have his best crew". Since this…read morewas a big winter job (removal of old cedar shingles, new siding and J-less window frames) and I wasn't going anywhere so that was fine. Mike walked me around the house pointing out what the job would cover and what not. Moving the electrical box was the one thing that would fall outside Pro Exteriors and an electrician would be needed. The job progressed well at first. Of course there were days they couldn't work due to weather which is understandable. However, with only the NorthEast facing side of the house left, things fell apart and whether or not workers would show up was a crap shoot. Home is on a lake with NE side facing the lake. Majority of weather comes from the NE and this side was left partially finished for over a month. Big rainstorm came in and I woke to water coming inside from the window frames of the first floor. I was told it was probably due to the fact that the J-less frames had not been installed! Why would they leave this critical piece undone for so long? There was no offer to evaluate possible damages. Only told to let them know if more water comes inside. Now my house smells musty and I am worried there will be significant water damage upon closer inspection. Their only explanation was that some crew members had quit. Not a valid excuse as they have more than one crew so why didn't they pull some workers from a recently started job in order to finish mine and more importantly, at least finish the window framing so when one of New Englands famous wind/rain storms. Lastly, when Mike walked me through at the start of the job I asked about the cover on the HVAC pipes from compressor into house and he said "Nick would figure it out". Mike kind of disappeared halfway through the job and I was told he was retiring so Jason would be taking the lead. During the final walkthrough I asked about the cover for the HVAC pipes and was told "you need an HVAC guy we don't do that" which is not what Mike told me. Had I known I would have arranged with an HVAC company to put a new cover on in February when that side of the house was finished. Now in May I cannot get any HVAC company to do the job because they are focusing on big ticket items like full HVAC installation. Very frustrating! I wish I had more in progress photos but in early December I broke my leg right at the ankle and could not put weight on the foot for 6 weeks. Pro Exteriors was the lowest of 3 quotes (by a lot) and I guess you get what you paid for. All in all the finished product looks great except for the HVAC pipe cover (see pic). Workmanship was good but job management was terrible. If you want to cut upfront costs and get your siding done by Pro Exteriors you need to keep a close eye on progress and if workers stop showing up for extended periods of time raise holy hell. Also get everything in writing (like HVAC cover).

He spent an hour with me and I learned more about my cedar roof than I could have imagined there was to know. Also, he had an estimate for the project by the end of that very day. We did not wait too long to get on their schedule and once we did, they kept every promise from material drop off to daily clean up expectations. The job site was tidied up and neat after each work day. Maikol Figueroa was our forman and he was so easy to talk to. I was very concerned about a glass structure under a portion of the tear out and Maikol handled it with full integrity. The roof is amazing and beautiful; we could smell the beautiful cedar scent while they were working. There were a few roof issues discovered during the project that were handled beautifully with a few conversations and now our roof is solid and secure. I trusted this company throughout the project due to their availability, responsiveness and knowledge.
