I needed fingerprints done for a new job and the company I got hired for used this spot for fingerprinting as this particular location was closest to me. They made the appointment for me because I was having payment issues signing up for a time slot via website. There is a parking lot and there were plenty of spots available when I arrived on a Tuesday (beginning of March 2022) for a 12:10 PM appointment. Due to Covid precautions, you have to scan the QR code on their door, check in (you will get a confirmation text that you're on their wait list) and they will contact you on your cell via text when they're ready for you. I waited 30 minutes in my car before I was contacted. Make sure you have your photo ID and form of payment. Credit cards are accepted here. The whole process took 20 minutes and the guy that was taking care of me was very friendly and patient (a lot of my fingerprints were having issues getting scanned). There was one lady in there that was rude though. When I was waiting for the guy to process my information on his computer prior to getting fingerprinted, I was standing there and this lady came out of nowhere from the back, goes on the computer next to me, types something and without looking at me, goes "do you have the email with the details?" in an unfriendly tone and then walks away. I thought she was maybe talking to the guy helping me since the computer she was on was next to his but no one responded to her so after a minute I asked the guy "is she talking to me?" and he was like "oh yeah, she was." Other than that, everything went smoothly at this location and I would recommend this place if you need fingerprinting done. read more

I used this company to do finger prints - appointment process was amazing - I got a very quick appointment at there partner location in Santa Fe Ca. Got my prints done and I sent the finger print cards to my future employer. Only to find out the scanned prints were of very poor quality and I would have to redo them. This company would not heed my request to go another location to redo the finger prints on the FD-258 cards provided by my employer or to refund my money. Please note the FD-258 cards provided by these guys are not equivalent to the original ones. Avoid this place at all cost. read more

I went here to get fingerprinted for my employer. The appointment creation process went well overall, however when I arrived to receive my fingerprinting services I was met with employee's that had such rude and unprofessional attitudes towards not only me, but a large number of other customers. I ended up waiting over an hour for a service that took a total time of 5 minutes. I will never be using PrintScan again, and I recommend that you also find another fingerprint service provider. read more

I would not recommend this location of PrintScan. I came here in January to get a set of ink prints. Was processed and the prints were rejected by AFIS (the FBI) because it was not good. So a month is wasted in my application process. I returned today (3/4/20) after making an appointment online and was told that I have to call Identigo to make another appointment. Apparently they were contracted by this company and they cannot take appointments for them. Regardless, it was staff in that office that took my prints. I am very familiar with fingerprints being a retired Federal Officer. I noticed that the lady taking my scan continuously override errors found by the computer. Instead of redoing prints that were flagged, she just override it and continue. I thought maybe they have a new technology which can make corrections and enhanced bad prints --but of course not. Regardless, they refused to give me credit and I had to pay for a set of new prints. Notice the receipt of Identigo or Printscan uses the same address so how is a customer suppose to know? I went for fingerprinting today at this Hicksville location for a new job that I am starting soon. The worker who took my prints was a tall African American woman with a large tattoo on her left forearm. She was rude and extremely unprofessional. Before the actual fingerprinting took place, this worker was exasperated because she was having difficulty scanning the back of my driver's license. While fingerprinting me, she gave me little to no directions. What few directions that I was given was delivered in a punitive and angry way. After the third try, I asked for another person to take my prints. When I requested the name of the original worker, I was ignored by both women and they refused to give her name. read more

Came here about a week ago to get my fingerprints scanned. I was confused because I came here for Indentigo which the sign was so small I didn't see it. But anyway, there is lots of parking which was pleasing. They do other things besides fingerprinting like passport photos and whatnot. The wait was not long even though I didn't have an appointment. Had an appointment at 11AM yesterday but found out we had the wrong type of fingerprinting request ( needed ink fingerprinting). Got off the line and was told we can go back after filling out the correct fingerprinting form. Unfortunately our appointment was cancelled while we were off the line and we then were told we had to wait till the line of 10-15 people including walk-in's were processed. ( possibly 4 hours). While they claim we were explained this we distinctly remember the man behind the desk telling us we can come back on line without having to wait but another person decided we needed to get kicked off the queue and wait till the end. Disappointing and not fair at all. Had it been made clear that we were not going to be allowed to get back on the line and not wait till everyone ahead of us was processed we could have made an informed decision to reschedule or go somewhere else. read more

We recently came to have some fingerprint scans and we arrived early to find a line of 15 or so people waiting at the door fifteen minutes before opening. We wondered if it was going to be an all day thing. When the door opened, people proceeded to the front desk. It was a little bit confusing because we had 10am and 10:10am appointments and there were all these people in front of us. Patience won out, though, because overhearing the receptionist ask people if they have an appointment, and subsequently having them take a seat if not, Made us relieved. One by one, those who had been in line in front of us, sat down while we were escorted to the back right away. The lesson here is MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! We were in and out in less than fifteen minutes and made sure to give a smile to the nasty customer who loudly exclaimed to us that there was a line while waiting outside. I was merely holding the door for some women. Oh well. The staff we encountered were friendly, polite and professional. They made us feel at ease and went straight to work. I've been waiting here for over 2 hrs. They shouldn't accept walk-ins if they literally book an appt for every 10 minutes. As soon as I'm "next" 3 new people walk in and I have to wait another 30 mins. I thought the DMV was bad but honestly they have a much more fair way of handling people. They have multiple people working, why not dedicate one of those to the walk-ins? If every appt is 10 mins long, one person should be enough to handle all the appts, and one person can handle he walk ins. read more

They clearly overbook--when I went in there were 20 people waiting for processing. They drop your appointment and take you as a walk in if you are more than 10 minutes late, as well, so people without an appointment are ahead of you anyway--and they don't let you know about the ten minute period beforehand. Went there for PreTsa and the counter person noticed that my passport was expiring. He asked if we wanted to have them take photos for the renewal of passports. He took the photos and collected the money on my Amex card. Then we went to the Post Office to renew the passports and they told us that the photos were done wrong with a Grey background. The background should have been white or slightly off white. So now we go back to PrintScan and ask for our money back because the photos were done incorrectly. They tell me that they can't refund me the money because the charge went to Identogo. They tell me that we have to call Identogo to handle the refund. I tell them that they should call Identogo to get the refund handled. They called and after 1/2 an hour of me talking to Identogo a get a ticket number and am told that they will be processing the refund. Now a week later I get a call from Identogo telling that they can't find the charge in the system. A complete waste of my time and still no refund. Avoid PrintScan read more

The staff here are wonderful. I needed an FBI background check with a Federal apostille for a work visa in Spain and they simplified the whole process for me. They fingerprinted me on their own system and I was in and out in 15 minutes! Not even 2 hours later I got an email with my results and the tracking number for my apostille. read more
