Ordered something online that I immediately canceled, the payment went through and when I asked for a refund they told me that it was going to be store credit, I asked again and they said for this situation it could be refunded. They told me the money would be refunded within 30 days, but it's now been over 2 months and they've stopped replying to my emails. It was about $900 I gave them that they for whatever reason cannot get back to me. I'd understand if I was canceling an order that had been started, but It's crazy to me because I canceled my order moments after I placed it, nothing had been printed or even started to print. It's always really easy to order from them as they have lots of documentation, and their service representatives are friendly and clear. I had a large volume of business printing that needed to be done on for a conference in San Diego, on the opposite coast from our headquarters location where I was working. I knew I wouldn't be able to get the artwork completed until very close to the event, so I had to find a printer who didn't need much lead time. Booklet printing is something that can be very costly with varied results depending on the skill of the printer, so it's always a little nerve-wracking to send the artwork out and hope for the best. Some printers won't notify their customers if there's an issue with the artwork, some won't provide proofs, and some will upcharge for artwork received close to the printing date even if they've quoted for that date. It's a jungle out there! Enter Printivity, and my hero for this story, Justin. Their site came up in a Google search, and I used the easy online quote fill-in to get a tentative price for the big job. The numbers came up but it was *so much lower* than anything I'd been seeing that I didn't think it could possibly be correct. I called and was easily connected to Justin, who explained that they deal in bulk and that kept costs low. He walked me through the process, timing, due dates, the best way to get my booklets (we chose in-person pickup), payment methods, everything. Afterwards he sent an email summarizing the call so I could refer back to it. We spoke a few more times leading up to the conference because I decided to have them take on the vast majority of our printing- handouts, signs, anything I didn't need immediately upon arrival. Every time we spoke Justin was a courteous, personable, knowledgeable, and helpful (even when he audibly had a cold!) and he was able to talk me through things I didn't even realize I needed. It was a relief to know that all of our printing was handled and I wouldn't have to go running all over to pick up from different places. They were very flexible with my timeline (within reason) and were even willing to do options I'd not previously considered- if I'd been able to turn in both booklets' art at the same time, I could have had them shrinkwrapped together and not needed to collate them at the event. Once the order was placed and I'd submitted artwork, I was sent emails updating me on the progress of the order. My proof was prepared and reviewed by Yesi, who called me whenever there was an element that may not look right on paper. She walked me through corrections and sent new proofs quickly, assuring that I would be able to meet my deadline. She was patient and sure, which I appreciated. Once my order was ready (and it was ready early!), I received an email notification. Justin and I spoke one last time as he confirmed that I was satisfied and then told me to keep an eye out for their new business card options coming soon. Best prices, awesome service, great products. I work for a small non-profit with a very low budget. We used to print everything through other small vendors and FedEx Office. I thought I was getting a deal with FedEx Office on my prints, but MGX was able to beat the pricing by 3 fold- no joke. My boss is stoked that we save so much money on printing now. I've ordered lots of different items: event programs, business cards, saddle-stitched magazine type books (for annual reports), flyers, etc. and this place can get pretty much anything done within 2-3 business days. I discovered this place (online!!) after feeling ripped off by other places one too many times. I needed color copies-- lots of them. I'm a teacher and I just can't justify spending over 50 cents for just ONE copy. Ughhhhh. With a quick Google search I found a couple of online copy and print places with very reasonable prices per copy, but the competitors tend to charge a high price for shipping. No thanks. That doesn't save me much money either. MGX is different. Spend $10 on color copies and shipping is FREE. I wish I could remember what I paid per copy. I don't, but I do remember thinking, "This would have been at least 3x more expensive elsewhere." Not only was the price point fantastic, but my copies are beautiful. MGX is the absolute best! The product quality is exceptional - more importantly, the customer service is outstanding. I've been using them consistently for at least the last five years on a variety of jobs - the perfect bound reports I had them print were stunning. In fact, my client remarked "Impressive!" before he even opened the report. I have not once been disappointed with either their delivery or issues resolution. For the two or three times I've had an issue, they were exceptionally responsive. And, two of the three times, the issues were either a result of my mistake or the shipping company's (FedEx or UPS). I work at a small non-profit on the verge of growing and MGX really came through for me. My Executive Director needed copies of our new pitch booklet in a little more than 24 hours to take with him to meetings in the east coast. Instead of ordering online, I visited their office which since it was a 5min drive from our office. I met with JR who was great! I had the original booklet I needed copies of and the digital files on a flash drive. We had a meeting taking close look at the book I had. In the end, JR told me there were a few things that he could do to spruce up the book and fix the binding so it doesn't have the old school plastic spool binding on it. The results? I had 15 copies for my ED in a little under 24hours. The print and paper quality were great! JR helped me with the choices and was really going beyond the call of duty with our prized pitch booklet. The first project they worked on for me was the cover of a middle school graduation program. I worked with Francisco and if ever there was a "Nordstrom" level of service, this company must screen their employees with the utmost care because with that first project and working with Francisco --- he was nothing but courteous, and very VERY helpful! He not only suggested options to help save me money but made sure that my artwork appeared properly. By that I mean that since I lived an hour away, being able to see the "end product" is different than what one may receive as an email attachment to review as a proof. I cannot even begin to tell you how many people were commenting about those graduation booklets! They were very VERY impressed! Oh, and Francisco even provided me with a code to use to get free shipping on the covers so I didn't have to drive down to San Diego to pick them up!!!! My second project was just completed last Friday. I had a death in the family and I need special, from the heart, custom designed programs to hand out for the services so that they could be used as keepsakes. When dealing with such programs that are preset options at the mortuary, one doesn't get to truly make it "special"....using MGX Copy allowed me to design my own program, print in full color on the right stock of paper, have it folded and it turned out just absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Not just because I designed it but because what I designed and how they printed it made it look beyond being custom designed by a professional!!! MGX, you made not only me proud but I'm sure my mother looking down from heaven at those programs would have been very very honored at the end result! Oh, and as a side note, when I worked with Chris, he not only was polite and courteous throughout but when he realized what my program was for, he had my programs ready in less than 24 hours and no up charge!!! My friend recommended this place to me, and since then I have used MGX Copy several times for small projects. I have gotten booklets, posters, and postcards printed by them, it's great because they are willing to print low minimums and yet their print quality is awesome. Since I live in SD, I just pick up my order, only trouble is that they are only open 8-5 on weekdays so if you can't make those hours, you can have someone else pick up or just have it shipped to you. I have always had my jobs come out looking great and their quality control is good too, if they have questions about how my order should look, they contact me and I really appreciate it.
