Although I love Italian food, After 5 days in Italy, I was ready to skip pasta and pizza. Luckily I found a Spanish restaurant just a few blocks away from my hotel. They actually offer Italian selections as well, if that is what you are interested in. It was a leisurely Sunday around midday. I decided to stop in and ordered the seafood paella. It was really tasty and such a large portion. In fact, I thought I'd made a mistake and ordered the paella for 2 because there was so much food. Lol.
The servers were nice but not overbearing-You might consider them slightly slow if you are used to fast pace restaurants. This restaurant had a more laid back feel than other restaurants. Perhaps it was because the street that it is on is very quiet (at least in the daytime). Not sure.
I also ordered sangria. It was great and a nice switch from the wines that I had been drinking all week.
My favorite part is that the food was really affordable. I spent 20 euros on paella, 2 glasses of sangria and water. In comparison to many other places that I ate during the week, this was a great deal. read more
