They were conservative in their estimate, not wanting to do more than necessary, as it may have caused further damage to my walls. Once the work started, Miguel and Jose came each day to walk through, inspect the work and talk to my husband and I about any concerns or questions we may have had. We contacted all of them for quotes based on our report from him. Elite was one of the fastest to get back to me. They are very e-mail friendly and quick to reply. Social anxiety people will appreciate this about them. For us we wanted someone who was responsive, priced fairly, well-reviewed, and didn't have the salesperson feeling to their interactions. They were our second choice initially but Wai came out and we really liked how straightforward and informative he was. We changed our minds and went with our gut. I'm very glad we chose Elite. Their price was in the middle of all of the quotes and very fair. The process was fast and easy. From quote to completion was just over a week. We had 30 piers installed over 2 days. The crew was great. The repair required our yard to be thoroughly destroyed but they made sure to put it all back nice and tidy. Communication throughout was great, too. Despite being a highly invasive type of repair, it couldn't have gone better. Doors that have never latched now latch and the awful cracks are closed up. Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures.
