I just had a terrible experience here with an employee by the name of Devery. I ordered a slice, and then saw this sign that said "5 bucks on the house and a free cookie" when you sign up for the loyalty program. So, I signed up, went to order a slice, and asked about the $5 and free cookie. Devery laughed when I asked about it, and told me it was "a catch". I was confused and was like "so it's not real?" He then acted like I was an idiot and ver batim said "bro, life's going to be really tough for you" and laughed in my face. Never in my life have I felt so disrespected by a food service worker, or any employee of any establishment. I sat down, and then a bit later just asked him if there was a manager there, and he, again, laughed in my face. Upon inspection of the bottom of the sign, I saw the fine print explaining that the 50 points you get is equivalent to $5, but you don't get the money until you get 100 points. Fine, whatever, shady marketing kind of but I don't really care, that's common. What's uncommon and completely uncalled for was how Devery acted towards me when I was simply confused and seeking clarification. I do remember first ordering it from one of their ghost kitchens, so I was beyond excited when they opened a brick-and-mortar location in Venice. It's now my go-to spot whenever a pizza craving strikes. And whether I order pickup or have it delivered through Uber Eats, it never disappoints. My order is always the Naughty Pie - a Sicilian-style square pizza topped with spicy vodka sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, spicy pepperoni, and finished with hot honey. The combination of creamy, spicy, sweet, and savory flavors is perfect to me. Since it's usually just me (or occasionally shared with a friend or two), a half sheet lasts me several meals, which makes me pretty happy, particularly considering the price point. The slices are wonderfully thick and satisfying, and I love how the pepperoni cups up and creates those little pools of grease. If you ask me, that's the sign of a great pepperoni pizza. Already did a review on this place. Pretty much the same as the one in Costa Mesa. A lot more spacious and area to eat and just sit and relax. Great food. Naughty pie is definitely a must try with not ranch sauce. Also tried the original prince circle slice, which had phenomenal flavor, but undercarriage and overall texture was very lacking. EXCELLENT customer service. The guy helping us was super friendly and very nice to us. I do recommend them to heat it up for extra long. We went with the Original and added pepperoni, plus the Oakey Smokey, which was like a margherita. Both were delicious! The crust had that perfect crunch with just the right amount of sauce. The pepperoni made the Original a little extra greasy, but honestly, still so tasty. We had originally planned to try their famous square slices, but they looked like they had been sitting out for a while and weren't as fresh as we hoped, so we opted for the pizzettas instead which were made to order. For the two of us, it worked out perfectly--4 slices each and just the right amount of food.
