Great food and wine offerings. Bartender was knowledgeable about pairing for maximum flavor. Food was tasty and service was quick and friendly.

Maybe one of the best restaurants in College Station. We tried a bunch of different dishes and they were all incredible. I've sat on the patio and inside and the vibes are great on both. Also not pictured was the gnocchi- best I have ever had!! Could not recommend enough.

Primrose Path is an upscale place where you'll spend a few hours casually chatting with friends and family over tapas and wine. Tapas means snack or small portion, so--unless you have a small appetite--one plate will not make a meal. What you do get for your money is great food, beverage, service, and ambiance. Our family of 4 tried Primrose Path on a Thursday night. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our table was near the door, and we had no trouble hearing each other throughout the evening. The space is warm, modern, and welcoming. Since it was our first time here, our waiter suggested the number of dishes that likely would satisfy us. When we couldn't decide which chardonnay to order, the manager brought us several samples so we could choose. Very nice. We ordered the fried goat cheese, Catalan crab cakes, fried mozzarella bocconcino, patatas bravas, and chile rellenos. Our waiter told us the food would come out 1-2 plates at a time, which was perfect. He also checked in on us periodically and filled both water and wine glasses. The food itself was delicious. We decided to splurge on dessert and ordered the churros and chocolate pots de creme. These also were delicious. We'll definitely be back when we visit the family members who live here, and they plan to make this their 'special night out' place.

What really makes this place special is the heart behind it. Beth and Rick are absolutely amazing--genuine, passionate, and the kind of people who make you feel like family the moment you walk in. You can tell they've poured everything into creating not just great wine, but an experience people want to come back to again and again. It's rare to find a place that feels this personal and inviting. From the atmosphere to the conversation to the quality of the wine, everything just clicks. I hate to see them moving out of state--it's a huge loss for the local community. This is one of those spots you don't just visit... you remember. Wishing Beth and Rick nothing but success in their next chapter. They've truly built something special.

There's a large variety of wine to choose from, and my favorite of the day was the Tawny Port from the premium tasting (dangerously smooth.) The food was also better than expected. The hot honey flatbread was a big hit at our table, and the charcuterie paired really well with the wines. The amount of food was perfect for sharing and pacing yourself through the tastings. Staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to talk through the wines without being pushy...The whole place has that relaxed Texas country winery vibe, with cozy indoor and a nice patio outside. It was a cold winter night, so we mostly hung out in the tasting room, but next time I'd love to come back to do one of their vineyard tours. Overall, a great wine stop if you're in the Bryan/College Station area or just passing through.

They have a surprisingly sophisticated menu. It's curated (i.e. limited) but well selected. We had pumpkin arancini, the steak salad and pumpkin risotto (it's Fall obviously). Don't pass up the complimentary bread and olive oil dip - great bread dip with herbs and fried garlic. The pumpkin arancini was crispy outside and creamy and rich inside. The seasoning was perfect. The pumpkin puree smoosh was silky and rich. Very restrained garnish of parmesan shreds. Excellent! The risotto was the same as the arancini filling. Just delicious. To be honest it's more pumpkin than risotto, but I didn't care because it was so tasty. Lots of warm spices but not sweet. The steak salad was a definite must-order dish. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The greens were fresh and the gorgonzola crumbles were ample. Great dressing. Ask for a small side of their amazing gorgonzola cream sauce to dip your steak. If you are having wine, stick with the Library aged selections. They're more expensive but definitely worth it. Recommended.

We were seated in the dining area that could accommodate our large group of over 100 people. We were given drink tickets and I tried the margarita and the watermelon sangria that I had customized by adding black cherries. I also had some water and a soda with my meal. The waitstaff delivered several tapas to our table to start off the meal. These included empanadas de carne, patatas bravas - roasted potatoes in salsa brava and ajo aioli, albonidigas - meatballs with roasted red pepper sauce and ciabatta bread wirh tapenade spreading. We got a choice of a salad, entree and dessert. I tried the beet salad with goat cheese that was very balanced and the beets had a good flavor. It was hard to make a choice from the entree selection, but I selected the Chuleta de Lomo which is the ribeye steak on a bed of peppercorn demi glacé with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and was very tender and tasty with the sauce. For dessert I had Pastel de Chocolate which was a cake served warm with strawberry sauce. There was a man playing the piano during dinner and several people in our group went to sing along with the songs he was playing. It was very entertaining and enjoyable to have this piano sing along. The staff was able to serve all the courses within the 2 hour window without any major issues or delays. They handled our large party and the service was efficient and friendly.
