If I could give them negative stars I would. We have used Sparkletts/Primo for years with reliable service. They recently merged to Ready Refresh and became the worst delivery service in the world. They cancelled 3 deliveries without notifying me. My latest delivery has been rescheduled and delayed by Primo at least 7 times. Their new portal deleted my login as an additional user for my company. Their customer service team is useless as they are a foreign call center. Though they are polite, they only make false promises and apologies. I have even spoken to supervisors who are no better. 5 customer service calls and hours on hold resulted in nothing but more delays. The president of the company sent a general apology letter which was a sad excuse. They blame the merger and portal. It's been weeks. They are too big to actually care. TRULY AWFUL! TOO BIG TO CARE. I'm switching to Zutra. read more

We were long-time happy customers of Alhambra Water, which we signed up for through Costco. That all changed when Primo Water took over -- and everything went downhill fast. First, they delivered 10 five-gallon bottles instead of the 3 we ordered, simply because we had 10 empty bottles they failed to pick up from previous deliveries. Their logic? If empties are outside, you must want full ones -- regardless of what you actually ordered. Trying to resolve the issue was worse. It took over an hour just to speak to an agent -- completely unmanageable for anyone with a full-time job. The next month, even after leaving only 3 empties out, they delivered 10 bottles again. That's when I discovered Primo unilaterally changed our recurring order to 10 bottles per month without our consent. Unbelievable. After another hour-long phone call, they finally agreed to fix future deliveries -- but refused to correct the incorrect orders or pick up the extra water. To make things worse, they have a policy that doesn't allow skipping more than three months of service, even if you have more water than you can possibly use. When we finally decided to cancel the service, it took yet another painful hour on hold. They promised to pick up the empty bottles and water dispenser the following week. Instead, I got another automated text message confirming yet another water delivery. Seriously? This company is disorganized, unresponsive, and operates like a scam. What used to be a reliable service has turned into an absolute mess. Stay far away from Primo Water. read more

Primo Water - Water Stores Near Me - Placerville, California

I've never written a review in my 40+ years of life but having to call more than ten times, only three answered, spending more than an hour talking to them as the refund they promised me has never arrived... and I'm still on a call with them only to find out they now have a wrong billing address, I am called to leave this review because it is truly the worst customer experience from the product and service perspective. From frequent delivery missing to not picking up bottles on the day they would (even after a couple of phone calls to confirm this as otherwise the bottles would be stolen; which they were as they weren't picked up without any heads up) to refund not made after three phone calls over an hour total after I discontinued the service... Had I known, I would not have entered any business relationship with them. And I hope you stay away to save headaches and time. read more

I left Costco water delivery - through Primo - because of poor customer service. Sam's Club offered delivery through ReadyRefresh - and things were great until Primo acquired ReadyRefresh. Primo changed my delivery date without notice; removed my delivery instructions - again without notice; and can't seem to get me access to my online account. Customer service is hit or miss. Since Primo is monopolizing the water delivery market, there aren't many options available. Buyer beware!! read more

**1 star - Completely broken service since the merger** I haven't written a Yelp review in over a decade, but this company has gotten so bad I felt like I had to say something. I really hope people read through these reviews before signing up. Primo Brands has gone downhill fast. You can't turn off auto-pay, you can't choose or modify your delivery dates, and you have no control over your account. Their website is a maze of dead ends designed to frustrate you until you give up. My deliveries have been rescheduled to the "next day" every day this week, only for nothing to show up. This has been happening for months. When they do show up, it's often at 6am with no warning. There's no way to skip a delivery or adjust the quantity online. I've got months of empty bottles stacked up because I never know if or when they're coming. They keep charging a \$14 monthly fee even when no delivery happens. Prices have gone up while the service has gotten worse. Customer service is basically non-existent. The chat on their site doesn't work, emails go unanswered, and if you call, expect to sit on hold for at least 20 minutes--if you even get through. Half the time you get disconnected. I've been promised credits that never show up, and you can't remove your payment info or cancel through the site. There's also no delivery tracking or updates, so you're completely in the dark. It's a broken system. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I've had in years. Avoid this company. Seriously. I hope others see all of these warnings before signing up. read more

Primo Water - No wonder their service is so bad they have Joseph Stalin handling customer complaints. - Water Stores Near Me - Placerville, California

I started water delivery with Sparklettes water. The water wafter always tasted good. I had friends who when visiting would ask to fill up there water bottles and they always said the water tasted really good. Now primo has taken over and the water tastes really bad. My water comes out cold from my electric dispenser. When water is cold it has less flavor then if it's room temperature. But this water even though it's cold is very bad tasting, it's gross. I will just have to buy my water from Costco in the gallon bottles from now on. read more

I was a loyal customer, but after multiple missed deliveries, broken promises, and conflicting information, I finally had to cancel. They failed to deliver my water three times, even after sending confirmation emails with delivery dates. Each time, the delivery was either delayed or completely no-show with no proactive communication. When I tried to get help, I was passed between chatbots, disconnected support lines, and vague email replies that contradicted each other. After canceling my service out of pure frustration, I was told that my refund was processed. I received three different dates claiming the refund was issued--but the money never showed up. First, they said it was refunded on May 28th. Then June 5th. Then back to May 28th again. None of it is accurate. I've had to spend hours following up via emails, chats, and phone calls, only to be met with robotic responses and empty promises. As of today, I still don't have my refund. This is not just bad service--it's unethical. Charging people for a product they never received and then making refunds nearly impossible is unacceptable. I'm now filing complaints with the BBB, my bank, and possibly the FTC. Save yourself the headache. Primo does not value customers, cannot deliver on basic promises, and should not be in the business of water delivery if they can't even deliver water. read more

Absolutely the WORST water service! I received a delivery for water that I never ordered a few months ago. It was for purified water, which I would have never ordered. I called for them to come pick it up and they told me they couldn't pick it up once it was delivered and refused to credit my account. I then called every week for over a month and during that time they started charging me interest for non-payment. Finally after 3 months of complaining, they finally credited my account. Then today, I get to work, open my email, and find that they delivered 3 more bottle of water that I never ordered and I now I have to go through this all over again. I called and canceled my account but not sure how long it will take to get a refund. Also, don't be fooled Ready Refresh is Primo water so I would highly recommend steering clear of both companies. read more

So we have had the Primo water service for 3 years and then decided to install a water purifier system. Horrrrrrrible customer service. Says there's a messenger chat on site, that didn't work. Log into account, and my delivery date has been changed again while we are out of water. Nothing scheduled to be delivered. Try to call customer service, it doesn't recognize my phone number and when I have the ability to ask to be connected to help, it said "please hold" then dropped the call. Called 2nd time and went the "new customer" route and it said wait times are currently 30+ minutes. What a cluster. Completely unimpressed and going to have to go back to Mountain Glacier. read more

We were Alhambra customers through Costco for 15+ years, and we never had a single complaint about their products and service. Then the takeover by another water conglomeration with multiple names (Primo now) drove the service immediately into the ground. Billing, deliveries, customer service, etc. are the complete opposite from when it was Alhambra. The one time we did catch the delivery employee (deliveries do not happen on a regular or reliable schedule) he was very nice and professional so can't blame him for his employer's horrible business practices. We have spent the equivalent of several hours on the phone, online chatting, and writing letters trying to sever ties with this company. Billing and invoices are impossible to understand with dates and charges and credits that make no sense. We were charged a late fee for the month they were starting to transition over from Alhambra. This was a late fee for which we never received an invoice or statement. They did remove that when I informed them of the situation. We canceled our account in July 2025 via telephone. We were told the last empty bottles would be collected on July 21 and we would receive our bottle deposit refund (which was initially paid to Alhambra many years ago) within two weeks. The driver did show up to collect the 9 empties, but he also mistakenly left 9 full bottles that we did not want and did not order. Since the account was already closed we were told they couldn't figure out how to schedule a pickup of those full bottles. So, it's been almost two months that 9 full bottles have been sitting in the heat and littering our driveway. After more phone calls and a registered letter to the main office in Florida, the bottles still sit in front of our house waiting for someone who apparently is never going to show up. We have also not received our bottle deposit refund. Our account online shows a negative balance, but not the amount we initially paid Alhambra. Out account is closed so how does a negative balance work for us? We sent a registered letter to the main office 2 weeks ago informing them if they didn't remove the bottles from our property and issue us a check for the refund that we would be filing complaints. Someone signed for that letter over a week ago so we know it was delivered. We have heard nothing from them. As promised in the letter we will now be filing complaints with the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Costco, the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). If we don't hear from Primo we will have to pursue other avenues to get our refund and we will give or throw away their bottles. For anyone else feeling as frustrated as we are please consider filing complaints with the agencies listed above, substituting your own state agencies if you are not in California. read more

We've had Primo Water service for a few months at our business, and honestly, I'm puzzled by how difficult it has been to manage something as straightforward as water delivery. Deliveries are frequently rescheduled without notice, making it hard to plan when to put bottles out for pickup. We've now accumulated 12 empty bottles and have been out of water for two weeks, which defeats the purpose of the service entirely. Getting in touch with a real person has been nearly impossible, despite many attempts and waiting on hold for over 30 minutes. The chatbot is not helpful for resolving these issues. Previously, when this service operated under ReadyRefresh, I knew my driver, and if there was a change, I received a call directly so we could adjust. Primo sends a robocall reminder the night before deliveries, often around 9 p.m., which doesn't allow enough time to pivot plans for a business that needs to prepare during business hours. The $13 delivery fee also feels high considering the inconsistency of service. At this point, I simply want the empty bottles picked up, a refund on the bottle deposits, and to be done with the service. It shouldn't be this complicated to receive water reliably. read more

Horrible ! Since they took over ready fresh. No water for almost 2 months! They keep pushing the delivery date out and not to mention waiting for a real agent to talk to is almost impossible! Standard wait time for an agent seems to be 40 mins plus. I really don't understand why we can't just get a couple bottles delivered. We have 10 empty bottles waiting for almost 2 months! Worst experience ever. Since Primo took over Sparkletts in March, we've had one delivery in four months. Our delivery dates have been reset 1-2 times every week for two straight months. We use glass bottles with deposits, so we can't just leave them outside unattended--and yet no one ever shows up. Three weeks ago, I called to cancel the account. Instead, I was offered a free restock and a priority delivery. Surprise: it never came. You can't cancel the account through the portal. And now, when I call the support number, I sit on hold for 30+ minutes only to be kicked to a satisfaction survey--as if someone actually answered. They didn't. I've called three times just today. I even reached out to Mountain Valley Customer Support directly because we love their water, but we can't get it through this distributor. As of now, I still have no idea how to cancel the account or get my bottle deposits refunded. So disappointed. read more

I am in the Phoenix area. I don't know that this issue is happening in other places. After Primo purchased Sparkletts, it has been an issue getting Sparkletts. The service is excellent but I asked for Sparkletts Spring Water. Twice now they have changed my recurring order to Arrowhead. I do not like Arrowhead. I have never liked Arrowhead. I will not drink Arrowhead. It is worse to my taste than tap water, and I can't make myself drink tap water. I just talked to them and they said they can't get Sparkletts for me. They have Arrowhead Spring Water (Or a different brand that is 3x or something the price) or I can get Primo Purified. I am one of those who has the weird genetics that makes some water taste bad. I am going to be putting a little juice in my water to make it palatable but Arrowhead just won't work. I wanted to post this so that new customers are aware of the Sparkletts supply problem. Their dispenser (hot & cold) is epic. I love it. The newer one (we had a really old one and just got it replaced) is quieter. The hot on demand is perfect for tea or instant mocha/hot chocolate. The cold is perfectly cold. Customer service has always been excellent. So the dispenser & the service is why they get 3 stars, because changing my water to something I won't drink wasn't cool. If they bought Sparkletts, WHY CAN'T I GET Sparkletts??? read more

CAN I GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS? This company, while offering great water - in glass bottles, is HORRIBLE!!! My deliveries have been missed now for at least 6-7 weeks; I get a new email every couple of days stating another future date - only to be disappointed. It takes at least 45 minutes to an hour to get through to customer service which is non-existent. Last time I got through, I was advised that they no longer have many deliveries in my neighborhood. This, ostensibly, explained why my water was not being delivered, even though we are being charged a delivery fee! My husband and I have been buying liter glass bottles which is expensive and inefficient. If anyone knows of a company offering large glass bottle delivery, please post. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY read more

If you have tons of time to waste, and don't mind a service that seems to never get it right, this is the company for you! Each and every delivery is incorrect, either the wrong product (our account clearly lists Spring water but we receive Purified or a mix of both), incorrect number of bottles (too many or too few), or repeated delayed/"updated" delivery date. I am not exaggerating, it is every single time. When calling, however, set aside a good hour or more as you will be on hold for 30+min (by design so people will just hang up?), only to talk to an associate who isn't able to help you, puts you back on hold to then talk to someone else who will just "notify a manager." If you'r lucky, maybe they won't have a condescending attitude. I'm literally on hold as I write this and it has been 32.58 minutes to include jumping through the automated prompts, one of which states my account number isn't recognized... the same number I'm looking at on the Primo website. Some reviewers state a bad taste. We haven't experienced that, but if we weren't moving soon I would have already cancelled this service. Buyer beware. read more

Total disaster from a service perspective. The systems migration that took place starting earlier this year appears to be the cause of serious breakdowns. Water deliveries stopped entirely without notice. As a result we cancelled our accounts serving 4 locations on July 22, 2025. As of August 26, 2025 still waiting for equipment to be picked up, two weeks past the date we were given. Called customer care today and was told they have no record of their equipment being at any of our locations. Went up the chain to an account rep who was able to schedule a pickup for later this week. If there's a bright side, it's that you don't have to wait 30 - 45 minutes on hold to speak with Customer Care... Systems migrations are difficult and rarely if ever without glitches but heads should roll after this disaster. Glad I don't own any Primo Brands stock - down ~26% in the last 6 months! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. As of July 2025, we tried to set up service with Primo Brands and it has been an absolute nightmare. Three times in a row our scheduled delivery was skipped with no explanation. We called and emailed repeatedly, even tracking down a number that is not listed on their website just to reach a live representative. Each time, customer service assured us the water was "out for delivery." We even received text messages confirming it--none of it was true. On the third attempt they promised our call would be expedited and someone from corporate would follow up. That never happened either. When we decided to cancel, we submitted the cancellation request online and sent multiple emails--no response at all. Finally, after calling again, we learned nothing had even been processed. I had to stay on the phone to make sure the cancellation was finally completed. This company is a complete joke. They waste your time, lie to customers, and make even simple service impossible. Worst water service ever! The service before the merger when it was Primo Water Service was great but after the migration in May 2025 to the new service Ready Refresh the service is terrible. I had to call and arrange my delivery service three times since then and they still can't get it right. My request is for biweekly, and they continue to delivery monthly. I have to continuously track and call in to make sure water if delivered. Too much work for the amount they charge. Last draw was today, when they picked up five empty (5-gallon) water bottles but did not leave any water. How do you do that?! Asked to cancel - another long holds after a nightmare phone tree to begin, I have been on hold. So far, call length is 25 minutes. In my waiting time, I googled the company: Following Primo Brands' acquisition of ReadyRefresh (BlueTriton) and subsequent migration to a new service platform, many customers have experienced significant service failures, including missed deliveries, unannounced route changes, and billing errors. The integration has led to widespread consumer complaints about poor customer service, with some users reporting weeks without water and unauthorized charges. read more

I told them that they can provide all the bottles they want for free, but if they are not here, its an empty promise.
