You have to catch rainwater or find some just to flush your toilet. Until you're without it you really don't truly appreciate it! When I called Ben & Dennis at Top Hat Well Drilling my pump would not work on its own and I had to keep trying to figure it out myself, right away they said they would come test everything. I thought for sure it was a certain pressure gauge and switch, and I asked them to change all that out ....well, they worked very hard that day and changed everything. I still had an issue so they came right back the next day. I thought I'd have to go the entire weekend without water, but they tested it and found out the control box had issues and Ben had the parts they needed. Ben did a superb job spending a lot of time and explaining things. I also had him test the water to make sure there was no bacteria or worse for an extra fee at a lab. So thrilled that everything is working fine again! Water is life and boy do I appreciate my awesome well now that everything is running smooth! If you ever run out of water, low pressure, nothings working, or even just to have it checked out, possibly a deeper well than you have, make sure to call Terrier Pump and Water Quality! About 4 years ago Tanko installed a new submersible pump for us using one that was over-sized for the output, they married brass fittings with galvanized fittings and did not run a ground wire (required since 1991). First, the owner Mike is not only extremely knowledgeable (30+ years in the business), but he is gracious, kind and patient. He answered all of our questions and provided a very nice solution to our low producing well at a price I thought would have been at least $2000-$3000 more. The solution was a 2500-gallon water tank positioned where we wanted it, out of the general view when driving in to our property and moved the over-sized pump to the tank and put the correct pump in the well. Another thing was that he was there helping set the tank and was periodically checking on the job and encouraging his team throughout the process. His team, Clayton and Steve, were terrific. They definitely knew what they were doing and went about the installation very methodically, wasting no time. Their demeanor was very, very pleasant, read professional, and were willing to answer any questions I had (I'm quite curious about stuff). They did not fumble about like some others we have experienced. We were impressed by the design of the installation, it was very neat and tight, taking only the space necessary. Icing on the cake was that they used all stainless fittings where metal was required otherwise they used schedule 80 pvc. None of that galvanized stuff for them. Our experience with Peter's Drilling & Pump Service was extremely disappointing and costly…read more They originally drilled multiple water wells for a development project. Later, when the wells were brought online, we began discovering major discrepancies between the well depths and production that were reported and what actually existed. The most troubling incident occurred when Peter's Drilling came out to service a well pump. During their attempt to retrieve the pump, something went wrong and the well was suddenly unusable. We were told the well had "collapsed due to an act of nature" and that the only solution was drilling a completely new well at significant cost. An independent well contractor later inspected the situation and concluded the failure was most likely caused during Peter's own work. When we asked for transparency or even a simple camera inspection of the well, those requests were refused. Water wells are expensive and critical infrastructure. In our experience there were serious issues with accuracy, communication, and accountability. If you hire Peter's Drilling for well drilling or pump service, I strongly recommend independently verifying well depth and water production.

Like last time, a pipe fitting near the wellhead was cracked and ruptured, spraying water out at a good clip. I called Triangle, and Kim answered the phone immediately. She was cheerful, sympathetic and very helpful. After placing me on a very brief hold to contact a tech in the field, she notified me that Drew was right down the street having finished a previous job, and he arrived at our place within a few minutes! Within a couple hours, I had them up to work on my well pump. They had to come twice because the well pumps they had brought (and the one that I had installed before) were too large for my setup, but I appreciate that they didn't sell me on the more expensive one. In the end, they got it done as quickly as humanly possible and got water back into my home. The only gripe I have is that they had to come back a third time and spent a lot of time (= money) trying to find a leak, which I ended up figuring out (it was an irrigation system that had fell over in the storm). It would have been nice to have the leak tested for and diagnosed the first time they came over, but really, it's my fault for not figuring it out myself.
