Carne Asada Taco , Carnitas Taco
Joriene M.

This is the place to be on Tuesdays and Fridays! I don't think you can find a better deal anywhere else in North County. My favorite meats were the Birria and Asada because they had the most flavor, but the Pastor and Carnitas are worth trying, too.

Tri tip

This Primo Foods location in West Vista is our preferred one. The parking spaces are kinda small, so use caution. The workers here are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. We went to pick up some barbecue on a Tuesday. There is a different line for the Taco Tuesday deal, so fortunately we did not have to wait very long. The barbecue chicken leg quarters are huge! Look at my pic with a fork for scale. $11 for 3 leg quarters. Just an incredible deal and oh so delicious! Tri tip was $23/lb. DH said, "it had great flavor, but I actually like the chicken the best". It was tender and smoky. We picked up some tomatoes, cucumbers, and avocados to make tacos and salad at our vacation home. Overall, this is a great place to pick up some barbecue at outstanding prices. We will definitely return in the future!

They have $.69 cent tacos on Tuesdays and Fridays and you can choose from any meat they offer. It's not the best quality I've ever had but it's still very good with tons of flavor and considering the price, it's great. You can't beat it. It's inside of a grocery store.

I tried the taco Tuesday for .69 cents. That's right $.69 cents. It was very busy and waited about 20 to 30 minutes for the 20 tacos. The carne asada tacos were good. They put cilantro and lime to add more flavor. I give them 3 stars . Give them a try.

This place is really great. They have great food premade chickens to go. Everything looks delicious cups of fruit look nice and fresh same with the guacamole and salsa. The staff member who helped us was named Enrique. He was very helpful and patient answered many different questions of ours. We really appreciated it. I would definitely come back here again and purchase their chicken again. It was very good.

Luv me some Enzo's. I'm not sure what folks love more about Enzo's, though...is it the grub? Or…read morethe brews? Judging by the typical evening crowd it could go either way!!! I do not drink so the choice is much more obvious in my case. What do I order when there? Well, the menu is extensive and everything I've tried so far is fantastic so.......ya! Enzo is a close neighbor of mine although I cannot proclaim to know him very well outside of our dogs sniffing each other...a lot...during evening or morning strolls. What I do know about Enzo is that he is a native of Sicily, you know, the rock being kicked by the bolt of Italy? At least that is how I always viewed it on a map. My point is the man knows food. Open up a pizzeria? Naw. Too obvious! An Italian eatery? Really?? Cliche! Why not do all of the above? That's exactly what Enzo did...and he's doing it quite well thank you! Honestly you won't go wrong ordering any one of the specialty pies (pizza pies, that is), Italian dinner selections, or p his Award winning BBQ. My fav happens to be dependent on the mood I am in that day/night but my "go tos's" are as follows: App - full disclosure - I'm nothing on any of the apps. I've tried the smokehouse nachos and the bbq flavor alongside the "nacho" vibe had me feeling off a bit. It was tasty sure but for me, I love my Mexican food and when I order nachos that's the flavor I expect. I applied the attempt here but wasn't my fave. I've also tried the pulled pork and fries. I liked this one better but I love the entrees so much I usually bypass the apps. Entrees - bbq - my son will die for the wings. That boy can eat him some wings and Enzo's are up there with his favorites. I prefer the southern sliders or the Philly cheesesteak (I've never been to Philly so don't judge me). Or the tri tip platter. (Mouth watering) Pizza - can't go wrong. We personally enjoy regular ole pepperoni or the bbq chicken which is done very well here. (You'd think right?) Burgers are all excellent Kids menu? Not for my kids. They go right in for the ribs or the wings as stated. I do not order the Italian entrees here but knowing his heritage and how they cook at home, I am 100% positive it eats hard! Beers - not for me but everyone seems to love them! And check the specials they have posted weekly online. They always have some great tones! Enzo's does private parties as it is quite a large space with plenty of seating and Enzo's also caters so if you are in need, thumbs up!

You place your order from the tablet and a robot will bring out the food that you ordered. The food and service have always been consistently excellent. The price was very reasonable. We have not been able to find this price point with options of beef, pork, chicken, calamari, prawn, fish (including salmon), all fresh and good. The beef isn't the best cut but also not the worst. Still very tender. The server was the best. Very attentive and friendly. Our grill was changed 5 times during the time we were there.

The meat quality was good- not the best, not the worst. We loved the special steak and bulgogi but would skip on the calamari and thinly sliced beef (it was very greasy). Overall, I'd give the food a 7.5/10. I will be honest, the service wasn't the best. The hostess was super sweet as well as one of the food runners! However, considering we order our food on an ipad and a robot delivers most of our food, the server wasn't very friendly. I work as a server myself and really pride myself in being kind and caring about the customer experience! I found our server to just kind of ignore us, even when asked questions directly. This was a bit disappointing but it may have just been an off day for her! I would give the service a 5/10. As for the ambiance, I really really liked the lighting and cute little cat robots! I will say I generally prefer a KBBQ place with booths, this one was more open with tables just stacked in the center but it was alright. We were also placed right next to the server station and bus tubs so that may have played a roll. I'd give the overall ambiance a 7/10. Would we come back? Maybe. Would it be our first choice? Not quite.

Could my Korean fried chicken life get any better? YES, IT CAN! OMG! LOVE!!!!…read more I finally got to try bb.q Chicken the month before last, and let me tell you, it has been a relationship made in culinary heaven! I would argue that this is now the BEST Korean fried chicken I've had in North San Diego County. And believe me, I don't make that declaration lightly! What makes their chicken so exceptional? For starters, it's the way they portion and prepare it. Rather than frying enormous, unwieldy pieces of chicken, they cut the larger portions into smaller, individually battered pieces. A half breast, for example, might become two or three pieces, and the same principle applies to the thighs. The result? Beautifully and evenly fried chicken with a wonderfully crispy exterior and an exquisitely tender, succulent, juicy interior. Even the breast meat is spectacular! Now, I've NEVER been much of a breast man. Give me a juicy thigh any day! But bb.q Chicken has completely changed my relationship with breasts. In fact, the breast is now the FIRST piece I reach for when I open the box! And instead of one enormous breast, I get several smaller, adorable, delectable little breasts in my mouth. And let me tell you, they're DIVINE! My usual order is the Golden Original Whole Chicken, approximately 16 glorious pieces of golden, crunchy deliciousness, accompanied by EXTRA pickled radish. That wonderfully refreshing radish provides the perfect contrast to the rich, savory chicken. And the sides? Oh, they're not playing around! The coleslaw is delightful. The French fries are among the best I've had in the area--beautifully crisp, crunchy, and utterly addictive. The onion rings are another favorite, with their satisfying golden coating. Then there's the So Ddeok So Ddeok, that fabulous Korean street-food appetizer featuring skewered rice cakes and sausage. The combination of textures is wonderful, but that delicious sauce takes the whole experience to another level. Absolutely YUMMYLICIOUS! And finally, we need to talk about their Cheesling Cheese Balls. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Golden and crispy on the outside, warm, creamy, cheesy, and gloriously gooey on the inside. These little balls of happiness have officially converted me into a ball-eating kind of guy! Who knew a fried chicken restaurant could completely transform my appreciation for both breasts AND balls? I've certainly never felt quite this way about either before! All kidding aside, bb.q Chicken has earned my enthusiastic FIVE STARS. The juicy chicken, remarkable crunch, delicious sides, and consistently satisfying flavors have made this my new favorite destination for Korean fried chicken. Congratulations, bb.q Chicken! You've won my personal trophy for BEST NEW FRIED CHICKEN FAVORITE in North San Diego County! ROCK ON, bb.q Chicken! You've got yourself one VERY happy chicken lover!

I have ordered mostly Korean fried chicken. I've tried the original, Caribbean spice, honey garlic and soy garlic and have enjoyed them all. The Caribbean was a bit too hot for me but still good. They are crunchy, yet tender and juicy inside. On this visit I was craving beef bulgolgi so I ordered the rice bowl. It didn't disappoint. It was flavorful and hit the spot.
