First time visiting Los Tacos in Oceanside and I had a great experience. I got the al pastor and carne asada tacos--both had really good flavor and were well made. The al pastor was the standout with fresh pineapple chunks that added a great sweet contrast. Carne asada was solid and flavorful as well. Stopped by here since we love Los Tacos on Vista Way location but I was disappointed that the food at this Los Tacos did not taste as good as the one on Vista Way. Tortillas were not handmade and flavoring on the meat is not as nearly as flavorful. I won't be back since the Vista Way location is only few min away, I'd choose that over this location. read more

I ordered the baja fish tacos and shredded beef rolled tacos to go. Not a big fan...the food was pretty bland. They had a nice salsa and pickled veggie (carrots/onions) bar, but that didn't help the overall flavor of the food. Have had pretty good experiences before but yesterday went for some tacos and drove about 5 minutes away to eat and open the box and this is how my tacos came 1 box has 1 taco with 4 tortillas and the other box the meat wasn't even on the taco. I was really excited to try this place! I ordered a California burrito and paid to add sour cream and guacamole, not only that but I requested extra of both. I think they may have added a minuscule drop of sour cream and NO guacamole, otherwise there was nothing but dry, chewy, old meat and potatoes and maybe a tiny pinch of cheese. Such a pet peeve of mine when my order is wrong and a really bad first impression - will also be the last. Waste of $15+ for garbage. Tacos Tuesday, anyone. Los Tacos is a great spot in Oceanside with very flavourful Tacos. I have tried the garlic shrimp, Pollo, and El Pastor and they don't disappoint. It's well located off of College and near shopping spots on Marron drive. So if you're out doing errands and need a quick bite, I recommend. The place is small, but clean, good customer service, the staff wears masks (if it is a concern), and reasonably priced. The only knock for me is the lack of proper serving plates, but I'll give it a pass for such tasty treats. Next on the list will be the fried potato Tacos. See you next Taco Tuesday. read more

I always come here because first of all everything on the menu is bomb! I have a few favorites that I highly recommend. One is the magnificeno tacos. They make a chipotle sauce that's really good. He's a grilled chicken tacos with fresh avocado and chipotle sauce. I also love they carry my favorite guava jarritos ! Yum!! The Bria tacos are amazing. The rice is good the beans are good. But one of the best things about this place is a salsa bar. My favorite salsa is here and I begged him to tell me how they make it and they just won't. . They have at least six different kinds, three different thread, three different green. They're all bomb. Also, outstanding customer service they're really friendly it's a cute place. They have a lot of specials through the week. I never make it for the specials, and it costs a lot to be here but I love it worth of splurge . Although I'm not sure if they are related/same owner, I did feel the meats were better at the other Oside location. Pro tip for both locations they sell family meals where you get 2 big bowls of meats and beans and rice and mini tortillas- we've done this a few times both take out and DoorDash.
