I love this area and their food is good as well. The waiters service is always the best as well as the quiet and peaceful ambiance in the restaurant. I ate a lot of their bread before the meal because it was so good and I was hungry. Overall I will be back.

My family came to Primo Amore Italian Restaurant to celebrate my husband's aunts 75th birthday. There is a small, very small parking lot right next to the restaurant but there is metered street parking too. My husband's uncle had made reservations for a party of 9 and we were seated right away even though we were missing 3 people. We started with the complimentary bread and dipped it in the rosemary infused olive oil. It was good. I ordered a glass of the white sangria. The sangria was good, but I definitely had better. For appetizers, we ordered two Hot Antipasto for Four which comes with Eggplant rollatini (4), clams casino (8), fried calamari and fried shrimps (8). I really enjoyed this antipasto. For entree, I got one of the specials that our server listed. It was a paella with sausage, chicken, clams, and shrimp. The portion was a good size and it was very tasty. I prefer having the protein mixed in with the rice like the traditional Spanish paella but it was very good. Service was wonderful and attentive. They refilled our waters without even asking. Food came out in good time. Everyone had a wonderful time and my husband's aunt enjoyed celebrating her birthday here.

I came here as part of a baptism lunch. The service was generous given all the kids and babies. I don't know all the things we ate because it was a fixed menu. To my best guess: - complimentary bread tasted like grocery store bread but the rosemary infused olive oil was tasty - appetizers were an assortment which included a bacon clam piece, mushroom Rockefeller, eggplant roll, fried shrimp, and a mussel. They were all good. - salad was dressed on the heavier side for my liking - the veal sorrentino and the chicken parmesan were both decent. Smaller portion than expected but it might have been because we got so many courses. I liked the parmesan a bit more, the veal sauce I could imagine getting tired of. - the entrees came with pastas. I got the ziti with a garlic butter sauce that was flavorful but too rich for me about a few bites. The rigatoni vodka was tastier. Both cooked al dente. - the pinot grigio in my Pic tasted good. I didn't like the cab sauv that much.

3.5 stars for the food, 4 stars for service overall. Service was attentive from the bar all the way to the dinner table. And each time the server had to come by to check on us, he was super polite and excused himself before speaking, that was very thoughtful. When it came time for drink refills and dessert, he was quick to deliver the items as ordered. Overall dinner was good. A few things more memorable than others. Appetizer I tried was the mozzarella en carozza, which is part of the prix fixe menu. This appetizer was enjoyable. My entree of choice was veal parmigiana. And dessert I chose ice cream. Simple. Notes: great pricing but skip the veal. It was pounded way thin but dry. And the veal was under seasoned. My companions ordered: House salad, mix of arugula and balsamic dressing. Lobster Ravioli - nice plate of sauce. Average portion. Spaghetti with mini meatballs - trio combo of chicken, pork and beef. I preferred the beef but I can see the appeal of the others. The star of this dish for me was the spaghetti and the sauce. Meatballs were good since you get a variety, I've never seen this before at any other place. So points for that. The cocktails and drinks from the bar were on point. A fun night out overall as it was not very crowded and you can tell, the folks dining there were regulars.

This place is located right by my wife's job and her boss recommended it ages ago. The ambiance is very old school Italian which we love. There aren't many places left like this. The waiters are all kind and really social which I enjoy. I like feeling like I'm family when I walk into a restaurant and this is exactly how I feel when I dine here. They have many options and the menu is very extensive. From appetizers to entrees you will never leave hungry. My favorite is the veal chop Milanese. It's huge!! I also enjoy getting the fish because it's always cooked just right. Don't forget about dessert. Look at how good the options look! Taste just as good as they look!

Had my sons graduation party here . Food was delicious, price was reasonable and more important, the service was phenonimal. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to host a party here. The staff are very attentive. Will be coming back to enjoy a nice dinner .

For how delicious this place was, I'm surprised I haven't come here sooner! It is a nice Italian style restaurant both in cuisine and atmosphere. There is Italian music played while you enjoy your meal. They had a number of different cocktails as well as soft drinks. The wait staff was very kind and we appreciated the complimentary bruschetta that was brought out to the table before we ordered. We had a number of different dishes from two different shrimp ones, a grilled chicken salad, and my penne arrabiata with sausage. One of the best I've ever had! I would definitely go back.

We came here with Mommy for lunch. It was a nice quiet Italian restaurant serving some good selections of Italian dishes. Emilio greeted us, and Fabio served us. The service was excellent! Some of the food were excellent too. We had bruschetta on the house. Then we ordered an appetizer stuffed with calamari. Their tomato sauce was delicious, but they only used two small calamari. There were a few mussels in it too. The minestrone was perfect. For the entree, I had capellini garlic and oil with shrimp. Again, the shrimp was small. I thought they used slightly bigger shrimp here. Hubby had Chicken Scarpiella. This was a nice one. I tried it. Mommy had blackened salmon. The salmon was well prepared and tasty but was on the smaller side. I don't mind trying other dishes next time. I'm sure the protein portion has been reduced due to inflation. It's a nice restaurant with big selections. There's plenty to choose from. We had a great lunch. Thanks!

The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. You can tell it's like a mom and pop restaurant, very old school but clean and delicious.

Forgot to mention. Adding insult to injury - my wife got food poisoning from the Branzino. Epic fail for this establishment.

The atmosphere was warm, family-oriented, and comfortable. The prix fixe menu was excellent from beginning to end. For appetizers, my mom had the burrata with heirloom tomatoes, and my sister and I had Nonna's meatballs, which were delicious. My sister had the rigatoni, my mom had the salmon, and I had the short rib of beef, which melted in my mouth like butter -- that's how tender the meat was. For dessert, I had the cannoli's while my mom and sister enjoyed the chocolate lava cake. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The bathrooms were also nice and clean, which is always a plus. My family and I will definitely be coming back again -- even if it's just to stop in for a lychee martini and the grilled octopus, one of my favorite meals. Highly recommend for a family dinner, date night, or casual night out

The restaurant…read moreis nicely decorated, featuring an open kitchen and a wood-fired oven, which gives the space a warm and inviting feel. Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrée, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real standout was the bomboloni. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed them, since fried doughnuts wouldn't normally be my first choice for dessert. I would definitely return.

Mekayla, who had recently started working there, was our waitress, and she is delightfully bubbly and energetic, making our entire experience there that much more fun. We started with drinks (good wine and mixed drinks), then the warm goat cheese and beet salad, drizzled with a sweet balsamic dressing - wonderful! For main entrees, we had the chicken paillard (very tender grilled chicken over a bed of risotto) ), chicken scarpariello (with medallions of chicken and sausage, potatoes, peppers in a delicious garlic sauce), and pollo e penne (grilled chicken with broccoli rabe in roasted garlic sauce). All three were excellent, and paved the way for a very tasty tiramisu (with lady fingers along the rim as well as soaked with espresso) and Cloud Nine coffee (coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto & whipped cream - a delight!) We are only sorry that we waited so long to eat there! We're definitely returning to try more items on the menu!
