Short version: Had a mostly good, but mixed, experience the first two visits. But the last one was…read moreso uncomfortable and borderline hostile out of nowhere. Will not return. Long version: The first time I needed to adjust the lie angle on my irons a few degrees. He was very friendly and professional at the time. He insisted on doing a lie angle board and I went along with it even though I knew what adjustment I needed. In retrospect I should have been more insistent, so I'll take responsibility for that, but he likes to stick to his process. The adjustment was much stronger than I planned on getting. After using my clubs for a few weeks, it felt off, so I ended up going back to him to get the adjustment I originally wanted. He was cool about it and made the adjustment. He charged less this time around - he actually hesitated charging at all. After building a rapport I planned on being a repeat customer. So several weeks later, I reached out to him about adjusting the loft on a single iron. I told him it wasn't urgent. We arrange a time to meet - all seemed ok. When I get there he starts doing the adjustment and the tone shifts. He starts telling me about how I'm wasting his time with this loft change and how other customers asking for small adjustments are wasting his time. He's dropping F bombs and coming across really hostile. Keep in mind, this is a paid service and didn't ask for this as a favor. 5 minute non-urgent job for $10. I was completely taken off guard. I found myself in a position verbally defending this adjustment that *I was paying for*. I couldn't believe this guy was mad about getting work requests directly related to his club repair business. He also could have turned down the job before we both went through the trouble of meeting. I was very explicit on what the adjustment request was. Bizarre. I've read other reviews about similar outbusts and I totally understand now. Based on the reviews, he can be really great or really angry. I've seen both sides after 3 visits and after that uncomfortable encounter I don't think it's worth the unpredictable volatility.

I'm an intermediate golfer who's still learning how to consistently make good contact. I signed up for a four-pack of lessons with Dan and feel much more confident when I hit the course now. Dan's teaching style is straightforward and not overly serious. But that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about! He puts you at ease, and helps you stack good habits one at a time until your swing is in a better spot. I learned some basic swing fundamentals and he also taught me how to hit out of a bunker and hit a flop shot. We even went over on our time a couple of lessons, and Dan continued to finish teaching on his own time to help me out. Dan also uses the OnForm golf app. After a lesson, Dan sent me a video recording that overlayed my swing with a professional's. Dan did a voiceover and used arrows/shapes on the screen to help me understand his teaching points. Having that takeaway video gave me something to study outside of our lessons. Came here with a group of people and one of them happens to be a regular so I could see the treatment was different. The location has plenty of parking, some outdoor/indoor seating, good priced alcohol and two levels to hit the balls into buckets. Service was decent (two bartenders who also served the food) bartender made sure to come out once in a while to see if anyone needed drinks and didn't have to wait long. Nothing fancy , but again sometimes you just want a place to have a beer and hit some buckets. Overall for people who just want to focus on hitting the balls and not the ambiance this is the spot, but for larger groups or ones expecting something fancier this is not the spot.

The membership pricing is a good deal from the local spots weve been to.The facilities are fairly clean and they have a restraunt on site called the Overlook. We ended up grabbing some burgers and fries from there. Pretty solid food. Two burgers and an order of fries and tip came to $50. The course is definitely not for beginners. I had a hard time hitting from even the junior's section so i sorta gave up. Apart from that though my biggest complaint would be for the way they upcharge. They didn't honor afternoon pricing and tried to upcharge on the golf cart. It was ~$76 for me (non-member) and ~$52 for my husband (member) for a Saturday afternoon tee time plus another $40 ($36 for members) for the cart rental. Unfortunately, I didn't even end up playing because the course was too hard for me so it was a waste of money for me to just sit in the cart. The other downside was that it took 6.5 hours to get through this course because of all the wait times. It should've been less than 4 hours. So i wasn't much of a happy camper in the cold. Lesson learned- wear more layers. We still come back for the driving range. I may send my husband off to play on the course until I can get better at hitting the distance. It is a beautiful contoured layout with midsize, fairways and true rolling greens. The spacious grounds had a delightful green and fecund aire . A welcome feel for a January afternoon during Rev Dr Martin Luther King weekend! Superb drainage is just one of the great features of the course ...with all the December and early January precipitation and foul weather our playing partners indicated that they seldom missed their regular appointed rounds. We were fortunate to be paired with two very splendid amateur women players - one from Stanford and another a consultant with Apple Management... So you never know who you're going to meet at Corica. My friend - a local denizen - was just beginning to explore the challenges of the game. ... it was a difficult course to learn and implement swing changes on. Though the driving range provides elite swing technology, it lacks key indicators such as spin and ball speed, that are helpful in teaching a new player, but it's still a feature that most driving ranges around the country lack. The par threes were particularly bland and I found the 17th almost unplayable. I also thought the weekend greens fee was exorbitant close to $151 +2 cart fees, plus a 75 nonrefundable non-applicable reservation fee, which is total nonsense. The pro shop is as unimaginable as any I've ever visited thank God for the restaurant and the wonderful people that run that place
