Woah- talk about an unpopular opinion. Maybe I just got lucky, but I enjoyed my ride with Prime Time Shuttle. I had just spent the weekend in the Ventura area visiting a friend who unfortunately happened to get jury duty during my visit. Being the wonderful human that she is, she took care of getting me to the airport. Her husband travels for work and uses this shuttle from time to time as well. The first thing I really liked is she was able to plug my number in to the reservation so I got all the driver updates and she could get everything else. I received a call about an hour before I was getting picked up just to confirm my location and still needing a ride. (I assume this is when the driver was leaving the LA area.) Then I was texted a link where I could see his approximate location as he headed my way. He arrived within five minutes of the scheduled time and helped me load my bags into his Prius. I sat in the back and we didn't really chat. His driving was smooth and I had a pleasant trip. I even got to LAX ahead of schedule. read more

Steer clear of this company. I ordered a car to go to a concert at the Hollywood bowl. The car never showed up. I made a phone call to them waited on hold and it just hung up. Then, via chat, I was told that the driver had an emergency and wouldn't make it. Don't you think I should've gotten a phone call when they found that out? But no, not with this company. I was worried about all of the bad reviews, but rest easy. If this company had problems in the past, we didn't see them at all with our trip. The trip to the airport was good. The driver was punctual and drove safely. His car was clean and reasonably comfortable. My only beef was he was listening to music I didn't care for, just a touch to loudly, and singing along. Our ride home was really worrying me because of reviews stating they had been left at the airport abandoned! This was DEFINITELY NOT my experience! Our driver Izuchukwu was an EXCELLENT driver. He called to clarify where we were waiting for him and brought his car right up to the curb. He helped my husband put the luggage in the car, choosing the heaviest bag to lift. He heard me say when I got in that I was so cold and he turned up the heat so I would be comfortable. His driving was smooth and safe, and efficient. We were home in no time! Once we arrived, he helped my husband with the luggage one more time, verifying that the sidewalk was where we wanted it. We didn't ask him to bring up to the door, but I'm confident if I HAD asked him, he would have gladly helped. Finally, his car was super nice very clean and well appointed. My family and I booked a roundtrip shuttle to and from the airport. Anthony was our driver and showed up on time for pickup at our home to drop us off at LAX. He was more than amazing and deserves to work with a better company. Our pickup from the airport didn't show up. Didn't bother to let us know that no one was coming. When I called and they finally answered (after waiting for 40mins and no answer on their website chat and no answer for any phone call until the 4th time trying) they said "oh looks like someone was on the way an hour ago but their car broke down"....Ok? So send an email, call me, text me, LET ME KNOW TO CALL FOR ANOTHER WAY HOME. We ended up taking a flyaway to van nuys and ubering home from there. 3 hours total time to get home. WORST COMPANY EVER. So unprofessional. I usually read reviews before reserving anything, was in a rush and just booked without checking. Biggest regret. read more

Sent this to their customer service dept: Would not use ExecuCar service again. We were checking our flight 24 hours before departure and realized we would arrive early. I called ExecuCar to get an earlier pick up time and they did not seem willing to change the time, but agreed to move the pick up time by 15 minutes. When we landed - our flight arrived even earlier than expected. We landed an hour and a half earlier. Each time I called, it was at least 3 - I could not seem to get a clear answer about an earlier pick up. Finally, someone confirmed, however, once we got to Zone 20A at the Ride Share at LAX - it was clear there was no communication at any point between our driver and the dispatch about an earlier pick up time. Our driver still arrived late - even though our original pick up was set at 12:05am. We waited over 30 minutes in the freezing cold wind. My husband could barely move as we got into the car he was so cold. We didn't have proper jackets as we had been traveling to a tropical area. Our driver, Ralph, did not greet us and seemed put out. I had tried to call and text him several times - only getting a verbal 'I'm on my way' but no ETA. That was all. And no response to further questions. There was NO COMMUNICATION, from the driver, or from the dispatch to the driver about our needed adjustments. Additionally, the website was barely functional as I tried to check driver's location or find more info on the website. It was as glitchy and not smart phone friendly. Needs a lot of improvement. Very frustrating. Driver got us home, but was driving much higher than speed limit. We tipped him out of respect for the service. But again, we will NOT be using this service again, nor will we recommend it to anyone. For the price we paid, this is outrageous. read more

Primetime Shuttle is a scam. I paid for round trip service and no one arrived to pick us up. When I called the company they didn't answer after several tries. I was able to chat with a customer service representative who told me they don't issue refunds. We waited nearly an hour before taking a cab. It's was an awful way to end a perfect trip. read more

I'm not one for cancel culture but I will call out the lack of kindness and professionalism we experienced with a specific driver through this shuttle service. This review is for that specific driver. I understand that the drivers are contracted and have their own companies/ fleets but I'm hoping Prime Time would consider who would be driving under their banner and for other customers to be aware of who the driver will be. We've used this shuttle service a few times and have had good experiences except this time with JAVIER ESCOBAR phone number xxx-xxx-7018 Chevy Suburban lic plate ending in 7L3. It is the holidays and our flight was delayed because our plane had to be de-iced. On arrival, the gate was not ready so we had to wait until the plane could get a gate so we could deplane. We texted this driver play by play our times so he would be aware and adjust. We had paid for round trip and had booked it 2 weeks before. Our family with young kids were waiting at the pick up curb and immediately he was telling us that we were late and that we mentioned we only had 3 bags. We had 2 luggages and 2 carry on sized bags. He was berating us that we should state exactly how many bags we had. I asked if he was asking us to pay for an extra small CARRY ON BAG?!?! Finally we asked if he was going to drive us or not. The delay was not our fault and we provided him updates of this delay!! He then started saying how he owned the company. Not while you're driving under Prime Time! This driver, for ONE extra small carry on bag DESERTED us, got into his car and drove away with us standing on the curb at midnight with our 2 young kids! He was already there!! We were dumbfounded by this callous act. Prime Time did respond by providing us an emergency pick up driver, Jude who was great. Again, the name is JAVIER ESCOBAR and cellphone number ends in -7018. I hope you never get this driver or if you do, pray that your plane is not delayed. I don't think customers should be automatically charged for cancellation fee when there is at least 2 weeks prior to their booking. It's not reasonable. Especially if you didnt take anyone 's time when you booked online. People are better off taking Uber. read more

Literally the worst company ever. Left us in the parking lot in the middle of the night after confirming with them TWICE the day of. They assured us the car was coming then it didn't. And we were stuck in the middle of LA with nothing. They just cancelled us with no response and no regard. DONT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I would rate a -5 if possible. Ugh! This is the problem with booking online and prepaying for a service! I arranged for someone to be picked up from LAX. They send me a confirmation of pickup that included a link to see see the drivers route- I even received confirmation that the passenger was dropped off successfully. Only for me to find out the pick up NEVER happened! When I will called to find out what happened I spoke to two different unprofessional reps who could not tell me what happened. 2 hours later I get a call saying they're waiting at LAX! Tried them again in July because everyone else was booked. I received confirmations and the morning of pickup an early text that woke me up confirming pickup. Then 30 minutes before we were needed to leave for the airport I get a text that they don't have a driver for me. They offer to book a Lyft but without any refund. About 5-10 minutes before still no ride so we had to cancel and drive ourselves. Travel is stressful enough, don't add to it by hiring this company. I know I shouldn't have tried them again but it had been years so I was hoping they got it together but obviously not. read more

Then, the night before our return home, they texted me to tell me that the private van I reserved 2 MONTHS PRIOR was no longer available to pick us up at LAX. As others have mentioned, pick up from LAX is an absolute nightmare. The pick up from my mom's to the airport wasn't painless but it definitely didn't involve a 2+ hour wait. They did, however, drop off the gamut at Arrivals rather than Departures and made the passengers take the elevators up to their intended destinations. Apparently, Primetime has contracted out and Primetime Shuttles no longer litter the streets of the airport terminal. Instead, they've opted to send out unmarked vans to pick uo their patrons. After multiple calls to Primetime and multiple agents assuring us the driver was nearby, my mother opted to take an alternate mode of transportation: Super Shuttle. This will be the last time we use their janky shuttle service. They have no regard for service whatsoever and don't care about their reputation. Spend your time and money elsewhere. read more

They cancelled our return reservation while we were in the air. We had no way of knowing until we arrived. I called asking what happened and was advised it was cancelled and no other was available. Told that we had to find our own transportation. We had a party of seven, so now we had to get two Uber's. This cost me an additional $100 then what I had been quoted. I should have checked Yelp first. Do NOT use Prime Time. I booked a private van for drop off at LAX and then a pick up when we came back to town. We were a group of six with luggage and two stops so options kind of limited. First leg: our flight was at 10:40am and when I booked they scheduled the pick up time at 6:45am. This seemed pretty early to me but we had an additional stop so I figured they wanted to pad the extra time. I got no confirmation call or email prior to the pickup date u til the evening before when they called and said the pick up time was pushed up to 6:15am. Apparently there was a knot her pickup at LAX right after us so they wanted to get us there early to pick up the other rider. This was definitely too early but they wouldn't budge. My options were cancel the pick up the night before or wake up half an hour earlier than necessary. They said they would wait five minutes before leaving. So I bit the bullet and woke up thirty minutes earlier. At 5:45 IN THE MORNING I get a call from the driver saying he's out front and ready to go! I told him I would be outside at 6:15 and not a minute earlier. The ride itself was fine, the driver was ok and we got to the airport. Fast forward two weeks later. I'm at my hotel in Quito, Ecuador and I get a call at 9:00pm from Prime Time telling me they are cancelling my ride without explanation. So I have to scramble to find another ride before going to sleep for a early flight home the next day. We had to go with separate Ubers which ended up costing us twice as much! Avoid this company like the plague. Take the reviews seriously. read more

Prime Time Shuttle provided us with a great transfer service from Los Angeles Airport to Ontario Airport. We were able to use the Prime Time app to book in advance, well before we travelled from Australia. On arrival in Los Angeles we were able to use the app 'Help' option to communicate with Prime Time staff and confirm pick area, time and procedures. Communicating with Malachai was fast and easy and she did an excellent job of providing all information we needed. Our driver, Frances' was fantastic and he smoothly transferred us between airports. read more

They are the worst in the business. They call 5 min before the pickup time at 3 in the morning to cancel the pick up. In this crazy time to travel that cost thousands of dollars to prebook quarantine hotels and airlines, people can get into a big mess. Four of us landed at LAX just before midnight on 4/24. We checked the status of our driver (prepaid reservation), and found an email from PT, that had be sent while we were in the air, that our reservation had been canceled (reason 10-5) and our money had been refunded --  and that we needed to contact them if this was in error. I contacted PT and was told that our driver's vehicle had broken down, and that there were no other drivers available. I asked if they had relationships with other services and was told no.  I asked how am I suppose to get home and was told by PT that it was my problem to figure out. Thankfully, I was able to rent a car and got home. I believe PT owes me the following: 1) A written apology 2) A cancelation fee of $100 3) The difference between the cost of PT and rental 4) $250 for the inconvenience and time spent In my opinion, very unprofessional and uncaring. read more

Years ago, I used to use Prime all the time for travel, and they were great. Always on time, always professional, always a VAN with Prime on the side. But since they are now contracting with any Joe that has a car, good service is hit-and-miss. This last trip was awful. Sexist driver with a dinky car that couldn't fit our luggage. He spoke in a sharp, condescending tone with ME on the phone but spoke with great respect to my grown son, calling him "brother" and even inviting HIM to sit in the front with him! My daughter and I were scrunched in the back with the suitcase that wouldn't fit in the trunk. He tailgated everyone. Jerk. "BUYER BE BEWARE" - Will never use this company again. Booked company for round trip to and from the airport for my family. Driver showed up over an hour late claiming they didn't have a driver so they called him. Almost missed my flight. Had to run to catch our flight! When we arrived to the airport after our trip, received text that driver would pick us up at 9:30 p.m., then received another saying they would pick us up at 10:30 p.m. Called the company while waiting and they said the shuttle broke down and that they didn't know when they could pick us up. In the same conversation, they said they didn't have a driver either. Mind you, they didn't call me to tell me, I had to call them, otherwise they would keep pushing my pick up time back. Here I am at night after a long flight, with three very tired kids and they are not helping. They then say I could take a LAX shuttle to the lyft site and they will have lyft pick us up. I was not about to get on a shuttle with three tired kids and all our luggage just to stand and wait some more. As we were waiting a Prime Time shuttle shows up to pick up a group that showed up after us.. It seems they pick and choose who they want to pick up and what is convenient for them, not caring for the customer! This is not right. Coming back from getting married, husband wanted to do something nice and order us a shuttle versus fighting it out with all the other passengers over ride share services. He unfortunately picked this place without looking up any reviews of the company. Every one star review here is accurate and spot on. We got a text saying that they had pushed our pick up time back by half an hour. Their app doesn't work, talking to customer service through live chat is a circular, surreal experience with many gaps and pauses. Calling their phone line took us about 15 min every time. The first time the call finally got picked up it went to a dead line. We had to keep calling only to be told our original driver was mia (45 min after we were originally supposed to be picked up at this point). They told us they'd call us back shortly. Another 10 min later they told us they'd found a replacement driver, but neglected to tell us his name or what kind of car to look for. Another 10 min later they finally updated us with this reservation, and an actual real driver named Matt showed up 5 min after that. Plus side, we waited so long we no longer had to worry about rush hour traffic, but holy crap was this an infuriating experience. read more

My review will start out like the 18 before me. HORRIBLE COMPANY1. To all my fellow yelpers beware. My story goes like this. I had a travel party of 6 with about 8 pieces of luggage. One of our traveling companions found this place and they assured him that they could accommodate us. One hour before our flight they were to pick us up for our one and half our drive to LAX I get a call stating that they would not be able to pick us up. I was told the driver was on his way and had a family emergency and that he couldn't pick us up and they couldn't find another driver, so there you go. Sorry for the inconvenience. (Thank goodness we had friends who came to the rescue and got us to the airport.) While talking to the guy who I could barely understand I let him know to cancel the whole trip., as they were the ones who were also picking us up. I let him know we wanted nothing to do with his company. He assured me that I would receive a full refund. Fast forward 12 days later as we land at LAX. I get notification that our driver is on the way and will be there by 8:15. Are you kidding me???? I had to call but this time the Mr got involved and it was not pretty. He asked them if they were crazy and why would anyone want to do business with them after they stood us up? It's all true... they're unreliable. My spouse needed transportation to LAX (to and from) for a business trip. I made the reservations for him 2 weeks before his departure date. It was for a private ride, not a share ride. He received several text in the morning to confirm his transportation. Then 5 minutes before they were suppose to arrive, he received a call from the driver informing him that he was running late and it would be another 40 to 45 minutes before he would arrive. We immediately cancelled their service (to and from LAX). Fortunately, I was able to take him the airport. Do yourself a favor, stay clear of this shuttle company! read more

I booked prime time for a return trip from my house to LAX and back. I had two check in bags and 2 carry on bags. The drop off was perfect. On my return I had to go to the pick up lot by airport shuttle, once I got there a small Tesla was waiting for me to bring us home. The driver said he had only room for one suitcase, I talked to the company representative about it he said that need to hire an other vehicle to take my luggage. I told him that I am not extra money just cancel my ride and I will take a taxi, he said that the company does not refund the money. I ended up taking a v taxi and spent $180 to bring us home at 11 at night. I lost money with prime time before too bit I booked it again thinking the company might have changed. The worst company to deal with. I will let all my friends to boycott with prime time. Shame on the management to steal money from customer to make profit. read more

We pre booked transportation to the airport. First the person calls and asks is our reservation today. Yes! Ok I'll book an Uber and send it. I booked an SUV and they were going to send a mini van. Then we're outside waiting(remember catching a flight) and it cancels. Then they are sending another Uber which was 20 minutes out. In the end I canceled their service since I could book my own Uber and was much quicker and why would I call a shuttle to do what I could. So bottom line don't count on prime time. read more

When I asked how I was going to get home he told me that he had an idea for me. Call Uber and hung up. When I called your main company, your representative said they had no one to bring me home. I was stranded at midnight at LAX. I was terrified, upset, and crying. I was by myself and had two strange men offer to take me home. I ended up having to rent a car for $266 dollars. I'm still upset about my experience with your company. LAX is not a fun place to be ditched at. I'm just glad I got home safely. I canceled 2 trips with the company and they told me I would get my refund. They sent me one check for one half the trips. The check came back insufficient funds. When I called and emailed them, I was told it would be fixed. It has now been over a year and they don't accept my calls or return emails anymore. That is a very poor way to run a company. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I have to leave this one. The website looks great, we thought we would be getting amazing service. We appreciated that they had an "On Time Guarantee". We got picked up at LAX on time, but the van we got picked up in was pretty junky looking on the inside. The driver got us to our destination, but drove like crazy and was on his phone the whole time. On our return, we got picked up from the Long Beach port. Port where cruise ships arrive. We were suppose to be picked up at 11:30am. We called at 11:31 to find out where they were. The guy said he was running half an hour late! Why didn't he have the decency to call and let us know that?!?! .. ok we can wait.... well half an hour turned into ONE HOUR! We could have found other means of transportation to LAX if that was the case! Now, going back to their great looking website, it states "We're on time, or you don't pay" Clear as day it is on their website (see attached). We called customer service to complain that we were out in the cold at the port and to report our driver was one hour late and we wanted them to honor their on time guarantee or get a refund but instead they had us on the phone for 24 minutes trying to convince us their guarantee did not apply to us because we were picked up at the port. They continually referred me to their policy term 11 saying the guarantee did not apply to us because we were picked up at a port, but if you read term 11, as I did many times, even to them, it states their guarantee does not apply to pick ups at the airport. Well they obviously don't understand boats arrive to a port and airplanes arrive at an airport because they kept insisting we were not subject to their guarantee. They were really trying to talk themselves out of giving the refund. I finally got fed up and asked for a manager and was told all managers were in a meeting. I asked to speak to the managers supervisor and again no one to be found. I was finally asked to email my complaint so management could decide if I'm due a refund. Really? This company would be much better if it just crawled away and died. They have the worst customer service and as a result my family was left stranded at LAX in the middle of the night. On our return trip from Jamaica AA changed our flight into LAX so instead of arriving at 8pm we would be arriving at 10pm, and connecting in Miami. I sent a message through their app of the change. No response so I call the customer service line and had a conversation with someone with a strong Filipino accent told them my flight will be coming at 10pm gave them flight number as well. Should have known this would be a problem at this point since I obviously was dealing with a call center in the Philippines. Flight gets to LAX and no sooner than I get to baggage claim I get a notification my trip is cancelled. Messaging through the app and phone calls could not get them to get me a ride. Basically their attitude is it's no longer their problem. I ended up stranded at LAX with no ride and no one to call, so had to pay major money for a taxi ride home. They'd better process my refund. I had a flight out of lax on the 17th of july. they were supposed to pick me up at 6:05 they called me at 6:15 and told me they canceled the shuttle. i had to find my own way to the airport and just made my flight. I called the following morning to cancel the return flight since I had to drive myself and they wanted to charge me a $5 cancellation fee. Granted $5 is not much but it was the point. Asked to speak to a manager and they would not transfer me. After arguing with them they finally decided to fully refund me. Horrible service would not recommend them at all. and the only reason I gave them a star was because i had to rate. If giving them anything I would give them a minus 5 stars. Should be zero stars. Let me standard at the airport at 1am with an elderly mother who needs wheelchair assistance. Never ever use them. And they said they will not refund my money. Never use them as they didn't even drop us off at departures. They dripped us off at arrivals and we had to walk to departures and now saying they can't pick us up at curbside.
