Recently, we retained Glen from Prime Time Chem Dry to clean our large, L shaped living room sectional. It hadn't been cleaned in about 11 years so it certainly was time. He, and his assistant, Alizabeth, managed to get stains out we feared would be impossible. Not only were they on time for our appointment, but they were professional, and sociable, making it all the more, a great experience having them in our home. Their work was clean, and efficient through and through. After they left, you wouldn't have known they were even there - with exception to the cleaning lines in our sofa and slightly damp material that naturally, comes with the service. If I could have left 0 stars I would have. Not only did he come out and ruin our carpets, he was very difficult to work with, extremely disrespectful to my husband and I and completely inappropriate and unresponsive when we attempted to contact him. He saturated our carpets with water and product which ruined our carpets and left an unresolvable smell. The carpets are a complete loss because of him and we are now spending over $6000 to completely replace the carpets. We could not be more disappointed in his performance, knowledge and composure. He actually left his fans here and we couldn't even reach him to pick them up until we threatened to charge him storage. When he finally returned our call he was completely belligerent, insulting and rude. Please steer clear of Glen from Prime Time Chem Dry. You will regret it if you allow him to "clean" your carpets. This company didn't work well for me. He was in/out of my house in an hour to clean 2 area rugs & sectional sofa. No "clean" smell after he was gone & the sofa looked worse, seems cleaner was left on the fabric & not removed leaving the couch very rough & stiff-feeling. We decided to go with this particular company because of the reviews. That coupled with the fact that they charged $200 for one couch led us to believe that the job would be done well. They were done in just one hour and left the couch looking in worse condition then it was before the cleaning. Glenn is the best! Last week husband hit a vein while giving himself his insulin. He didn't realize it until it had gotten all over a nice big section of the sofa. So I spent a solid hour cleaning up the sofa- water and damp cloth, seltzer, you name it, looked like hell. I thought my pale blue upholstered sofa was toast. I remember seeing Glenn on a Facebook page, shot him a quick message. I had an appointment scheduled early this morning to find out that Glenn refused to wear a mask inside my house during this pandemic. He said "My job is too strenuous to be wearing a mask inside and I cannot breathe with a mask on." I have a family with preexisting conditions and I want to make other people aware if they have the same concern to not hire this company as they do not truly think that the health of others is important. I have used them before and they did a good job, but it was extremely disappointing that Glenn did not want to wear a mask inside my house while he would be working for an extended period of time. If I would have known ahead of time I would have hired someone else. I highly recommend Prime Time after having my couch, recliner & two are rugs cleaned. Glenn got right back to me after I left him a voicemail & was very flexible in working with my schedule. I was unaware that Prime Time cleaned tile floors & scheduled a second visit for my kitchen & bathroom floors. How can I put this delicately...one of my two cats decided that the deep pile shag carpet in my daughter's room needed an additional pile of its own (if you catch my drift). So what to do when an expensive rug from Pottery Barn becomes the new litter box?! We immediately hit Google and found Prime Time Chem-Dry. We called them at about 1pm and by 3:30pm the rug was in the garage drying. The response time was amazing. Glenn explained the entire process to us and exactly what he was doing to reverse the problem and protect the rug moving forward. BONUS for the environmentally friendly product that won't harm my kids or the cats (although the cat probably deserves a bit of payback ;-). We had a nightmare-like experience with "Glen", who I came to our home last May to evaluate and service carpeting which we had cleaned every year, not because of stains, but to remove dust and bacteria as part of our Spring routine. We ended up with Glen because our regular carpet cleaner was unavailable due to a tight schedule and Prime Chem-Dry had gotten great reviews ... when he came to see the carpets, Glen brushed off my questions saying he knew want he was doing. WRONG!! He used powerful chemicals, not a healthier method as advertised. On light colored carpets, this caused huge, rust-colored stains which can never be removed. We had to save all year, only now planning to replace wall-to-wall wool carpeting in 3 bedrooms! Not only were the carpets ruined, but also the chemical concoctions he used ( PURT and NATURAL V) emitted NOXIOUS odors throughout the house! No one could sleep because of it : one son was coughing, while another suffered with red, watery eyes. When I tried to get answers about what chemicals he used and the damage he caused , Glen insisted on coming back to "fix" things... that turned out to be the worst part! He came back to treat the damage ...using yet another TOXIC CHEMICAL called DOUBLE INDEMNITY to remove the dirty-looking stains he caused in the first place! When I asked him to leave the premises, he became belligerent and scared me. Has anyone ever wonder why so many businesses like this have 5 star ratings? Clearly, the rating system is BOGUS! Naturally, I was hesitant to write this review, since I would rather focus on positives than negatives, and I am concerned that someone like this might seek retribution.. his insurers are certainly not sympathetic since they are trying to short-change us... their offer is not even enough to pay the lawyer! I hope this post can prevent one single person from being harmed and ripped off as myself and my family were and continue to be ... then it will be worth it! Very disappointed with this company. After researching several other carpet cleaning companies, we decided to go with Chem Dry. They send you a video explaining their process of of carpet/upholster cleaning. Based on what we saw on the video, we decided to go with this company. The cleaning was terrible. Did not clean or remove stains. We regret using this company. Do not use Chem dry for carpet cleaning!! They are a huge Rip off!!!! read more

I have expensive, custom-made sofas and chairs in my living room that were starting to look like they needed to be reupholstered -- something I can't afford to do.
