The place has been around quite some time and kids do tend to make a mess, but they keep up after it. Parking is for a fee, but sometimes you get a game card that comes with the parking. It can get crowded in the summer and on weekends. We go on week days and have been several times. Now, the prices in here add up fast so be mindful of that, but it is the same as other similar places. Miniature golf is about 16$, a go kart is about 12$, the arcade can really add up so get a card that you can use for the wide variety of games they have. The bumper boats and Disk Thrill Ride are about 12$ per person. We love their little train and that is about 5$. You can get a two hour wrist band and we do that and save a lot that way. All in all the prices are fair. The service there is nice and the place has a lot to offer, you don't have to do it all. There is a lot to do. They also have Birthday Parties there and that is great. It is super fun.

I was really upset because of a Dad and his little girl, must have been 7, 8 years old we're in the toddler area. The girl had an accident inside the ball pit and I overheard the Dad scolding her for peeing, but didn't inform anybody that she even had an accident. My son was in the ball pit when this happened, and I noticed that there were wet footprints on the floor and on the edge of the pit. I grabbed the spray that they had and sprayed the area down, not thinking anything of it. One of the staff noticed that I did that and right away brought towels and sprays to clean the area and another staff member came over and asked me to take my son out because they were spraying chemicals in the pit area to sanitize. When I took him out, he was completely covered in pee all over the back of his shirt & shorts. My son wears diapers so I know it wasn't him. I was really upset, and I told the staff, I went to go talk to the manager about it, and they fully refunded me for the time that I was there. My kids were upset cause we had to leave early, we were 35- 40 minutes in & the guy in the front gave them lollipops, with my approval, to help me calm them. The staff there is amazing and on it about Cleaning and sanitizing everything. They shut the whole toddler section down just so they can sanitize the entire area. As far as that, Dad, it's extremely disgusting that he tried leaving without saying anything to anybody. Accidents happen that I understand but keeping it to yourself and then trying to leave without informing staff is beyond me.

Would like to inform you that I will be filing a police report because I had my iPad stolen at your place of business. We were told we could not bring our personal belongings in and would have to leave it with stroller in the front of your store. When I returned to my car realized my iPad was gone. Not sure if this was an inside job or if this is a common occurrence at your place of business but I will most definitely not be returning and will advise friends and relatives of the potential theft going on at your place of business. Your employees are more concerned and watchful over whether you put outside food in your mouth over making sure you don't go over your paid time or customers coming in smelling like they smoked weed in the parking lot.

Turns out, John's Incredible Pizza exceeded my expectations! This place *sorta* reminds me of a kid Souplantation, just sub out the soups for pizza (& note the fact that Souplantation is much neater and slightly more elevated foods). There's a fully loaded salad bar with your choice of greens and corn, peas, carrots, and toppings+ (too many to remember). There's a pasta bar, sauteed veggies with sausage, quinoa and potato salad, a couple of soups, LOADS of pizza flavors, a fully loaded dessert bar, and ICEE/soda drinks. And my favorite--self-serve, soft serve. The taste reminds me of Souplantation or McDonald's soft serve. There are several uniquely-themed dining areas all equipped with long tables great for groups. It can get a bit crazy, and sometimes piles of dishes can accumulate quicker than workers bussing tables. Also, what sets this place apart is that there is a whole play area for video games, little rides, and claw machines. Kids go bananas here--getting out their energy--and coming back to the food area and tables to eat more. It's a cycle. We came because my kid & a bunch of schoolmates received John's Incredible Pizza certificates from school. We had loads of fun. We'd all come back and do it again!

I had been seeing John's Incredible Pizza advertised and, despite living two hours away, decided to make the long trip for a fun day. I signed up for their rewards program in advance and bought a coupon at the beginning of the month for a buy-one-get-one 50% off adult buffet. I also purchased a Groupon for my six-year-old son, which included buffet entry, two hours of unlimited rides, and a game card. The check-in process was an absolute nightmare. First, the coupon I bought from John's website wouldn't scan at the machine. The employee couldn't help me, so I had to get a manager, who was eventually able to assist. When I tried to scan the Groupon, they kept saying it wasn't working and that I would need to contact Groupon to fix the problem. While I was on the phone with Groupon, another family next to me was having issues with their credit card not going through. They tried five or ten times, but it still didn't work. There was absolutely no staff around to help anyone. Finally, after the other family couldn't get their card to work, we all called a manager over, and they told us the kiosks were not working and the entire system needed to be rebooted. At that point, there was a line of at least 40 people waiting to pay and get in. After about 15 minutes, everything reset and all of my payments magically worked. From start to finish, I was stuck at the kiosk for about 45 minutes just trying to get in, with a two-year-old and a six-year-old crying because they were hungry and just wanted to eat and play. The entire process was an absolute nightmare. I only stayed because I had driven so far. If I lived nearby, I would have turned around, gone home, and never returned.

However, most employees were cleaning in some way which was a good sign. It did feel a little more fresh and clean at this location than other ones. The entrance was interesting because I'm used to just entering the doors and immediately being inside the arcade, but you have to enter through the dilapidated Lakewood Center mall first, and then take escalators up to Round1. It's also a little hectic coming here, because it's right next to Costco. There were an adequate amount of machines, but it definitely seemed smaller than the other locations I visited in LA. However, the skill games and payout rates were very reasonable and fair, and I made out quite well! I won my first Getter Spin game here because the speed was pretty good. Prices have definitely been going up and prizes are harder to get (recession indicator fr), so I admittedly have started playing less. I only come when I need to blow off some steam or there's a prize I really want. Round 1 has an AMAZING selection of plushies During my last visit, I had some great encounters with a couple of the workers! I had some issues regarding the app and connecting my card, and one of the managers stationed at the bowling area was super nice and walked me through connecting a new card and ensuring I got my points for it! Oddly enough, they felt very well-staffed for a Wednesday, and there was plenty of staff on the floor that day to help me reset a couple of times, whenever the token plush dropped out of claw's reach. There was one worker who came right when I needed him and helped reset the token back within claw's reach. I got my usahana that night!!! I wish I remembered their names so I could shout them out! They really made my night after a rough day.

Despite some of the other reviews I've seen about service, I personally had a great experience. Our server was super helpful and everything we ordered came out in a timely manner. The only downside was the restrooms, which were a little dirty and could definitely use more upkeep. That was really the only thing that stood out in a negative way. I finally got fed up, complained to the female manager with light brown hair and she apologized and gifted us a card and said the next game was on them. Today I decided to bring my daughter bowling for girls day, and remembered I had the gift card that had a free game. So I went to the desk to use it, and the cashier stayed it was an arcade card. I explained that the manager gifted us that card due to us not enjoying our game and malfunctioning all night. Manager came out and swiped the card and said there was no balance in the card. I explained that it was given to us and wasn't used. She stated it was an arcade card and it had 5$ credit and was used on a Photo Booth. I felt humiliated and upset that I was given a used card. My daughter was more embarrassed and just wanted to go home. Please work on communication and clarification when resolving complaints from customers that pay for lanes and they don't work!!

After the situation was being handled, an employee made an inappropriate and dismissive comment complaining about how often Chuck E. is requested to come out to a caregiver of a HUMAN who has a monthly pass for Chuck E. Cheese, not some kind of pest as she makes it seem!!! She essentially blamed the caregiver for the seizure by saying it's "too much" to put on a mouse costume for the times the caregiver has requested. I confirmed what was said, not just "over heard". This is concerning and upsetting because that service is often used for children and guests with disabilities. I believe it's not something to complain about. The comment came across as insensitive and unprofessional, particularly given the seriousness of what had just occurred! In a family-oriented environment, especially one serving children and vulnerable guests, staff should be trained to respond with empathy and respect during emergencies - not frustration or complaints. I have already reported this matter to corporate, as I believe it warrants proper review and accountability. I'm sharing this because situations like this should be taken seriously to ensure better training and guest care moving forward. I hope nobody else has to experience guilt - tripping for simply asking Chuck E. to come out, since he never does at this location. It's such a wonderful environment, and the people who work here are friendly and kind. We definitely have a great time every time we visit. As for selection, they have made some changes to the store to include more merchandise and less claw games. The merchandise is great, and there are still enough claw games to play.
