We did the Corpse Whisperer room which can contain 2-10 players. It was really fun! My husband and I oddly have a harder time when things are super linear (we're both neurodivergent so maybe that's why). But the room IS very linear and you don't have to overthink as much as we did! That being said, we still made it out with 5 minutes to spare! Without spoiling the room, there's some really fun moments!! If you're into horror, you'll love it. If you're not into horror, I think you'll still love it either way! This escape room does something I've never seen before at that's finding "coins." In each room they have coins hidden around the rooms and you can find them and at the end, the game master will collect them and you have a chance to spin a wheel to win a prize! I did like that the employee offered costumes, which is really fun! Now, the room itself The puzzles were not intuitive at all, often leading to dead ends or objects you didn't even end up using. I highly suspect that the owner used Ai to write clues and game structure. They used Ai for all the graphics, so this doesn't seem unlikely. We could not get through this without a ton of clues, which were almost all misspelled or confusing. Normally we set records in escape rooms, this time we used the full hour and three 5 minute extensions and barely made it through. Do not take this to mean that it's challenging or extra hard. It's just nonsensical and frankly a waste of time and a frustrating experience. Room needs a total rewrite, because the concept of being separated at first is really cool, just not executed well at all.

It also accommodated our huge group of eleven (I believe 12 people is the max), and there were plenty of puzzles to go around. I would definitely recommend the Ministry of Peculiarities to anyone looking for a unique escape room experience!
