Dinning area and games
Daniel A.

Sticky shoes, sticky shoes Always makes me smile Sticky shoes, sticky shoes Next time I'll avoid the pile... None sticky floors for the most part. One of the larger CEC we've been to. The service was a bit slow for a birthday no one came over to the table to take the order so our party went to the counter to do it. There is a trampoline area as well as play pen. You need to pay extra for that. They did have a few games for toddlers in the middle. Is it me or did you used to get more tickets for skee-ball back in the day? There were a few of the games not in service. Not to mention the photo car had left a bunch of photos all over the floor. Nothing like your kids faces all over. Food was what you'd expect. Pizza was pizza and baby wings had more bone than wing. Kids enjoyed it always the best part of anything. Shoes didn't stick to the ground like suction cups another plus. God bless

Came to celebrate my son's birthday. The tables closest to the entrance were dirty. I asked to borrow a towel and the young lady came to clean the tables, but didn't wipe the chairs. The food took over an hour. The two times I approached the window, I saw the guy fixed his sweaty hair by using his bare hands to move it to the back. (I hope he uses globes to fix the food.) The kitchen doesn't communicate with the front so the people in charge of giving out the salad plates didn't know we ordered a $16.99 salad on the app and wouldn't give us a plate. There are no napkins at the tables. We all know the claw machines are manipulated so that they don't have the strength to grab anything, but the scam goes beyond at this place. $3 for 1 try $5 for 2 and 5 for $10. I put in 2 $5 dollar bills which simple math would say I get 5 plays. We only got two plays. I went to the manager and explained that I put in $10 but only got two plays. She gave me 2 plays. A good customer service person would have said, I'll give you the 3 plays but next time it must be a $10 bill to give you 5 plays, but no. She said it was clearly stated there. I took a picture and it doesn't say that the bills need to be exact amount. Chuck E. Cheese needs to learn his moves and be more enthusiastic! What a disappointment.

My girls enjoying the playpen

My husband and I brought our girls here for my oldest daughter's 4th birthday. I hadn't been to a Chuckee Cheese since I was a kid, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There have been so many changes but for the most part it's still the same. A lot of games, a playpen area, dining area, food section and of course the ticket redemption area. My girls spent majority of the time playing in the playpen area. They played some of the games, but we noticed a lot of the games were not working so that was a bummer. We took a lot of photos in the photo booth. I miss the animatronics band they used to have when I was growing up in the 90s. I knew they got rid of those years ago, but it was always one of my favorite things about Chuckee Cheese. We didn't end up eating here so I can't say whether the food is good but overall, I would say it's a good place to bring your kids for some fun.

I recently visited the new Chuck E. Cheese location in whittier, and overall, I had a pretty good experience. I love that the new location is so close to home. The ninja run and trampoline area are such a nice addition. There's also an employee there ensuring everyone is playing safe. For a Check E. Cheese it was very clean, and at this time all the machines actually work, which is a nice touch. However, I did notice that the service could use some improvement. The staff seemed a bit confused and overwhelmed at the register where you purchase your tap cards and food, it was a weekend so it was very busy. But for now, I'll definitely be back for the food and convenience!

Dry with no sauce or cheese ..!

The cooks name is Ruben, but he doesn't know how to make a pizza. The manager's name is Amber and she's very rude. I took a picture of my pizza. You'll be the judge of it. Dry with no cheese is my opinion there's are other better locations these people here don't know customer service. There's another person working here. Seems like she's somebody she understood what the situation was, just found out her name is Amy she's a manager also, but they didn't care about the situation, and didn't bother to say anything or try to help. The place is not that big neither save your time and money go to another Chuck E. Cheese

New CEC location in Whittier. I wanted to come while it's new and clean; it didn't disappoint! This location is still fresh, but I'm curious about how it will age over time. So much is the same from my childhood and so much is also different. I appreciate the easily reloadable tap cards, which makes regular visits seamless. We've been 3x and surprisingly, there haven't been too many people, tables and games are accessible. The staff is young, but kind and professional. Prices have gone up, so buying the monthly pass definitely makes sense. Food is good. Different than back in the day, but on par with what you'd expect from CEC.

I'm gonna tell you right now. This is a delicious pizza well worth waiting for I drove by and…read morenoticed it decided to pull in. Ordered the uptown special the perfect blend of vegetables, cheese, marinara sauce, and meat. I was told it would take about 35 minutes but trust me as soon as I've been in that pizza I don't even remember how long it took all I know I went straight to heaven. This pizza is delicious. They have so many others to try but they also offer sandwiches here. Parking is good and I don't regret a single second stop by or even find out if you can call Dean but when you bite into it, you'll feel the same sensation I did... Wow, somebody found a way to serve heaven in a Pizza.

Before Uptown Pizza Co. existed, this was the location of much loved but much misunderstood…read moreLamppost Pizza, which was(/is?) a chain in name and logo only--I believe every single Lamppost location was franchised. I know this one was. I'm not going to bore or bedazzle or befuddle or bedraggle you with (too many) stories of Uptown Whittier's Lamppost Pizza, mostly because most of those stories are my brother's and his friends' and his former coworkers' (sometimes the same people) stories to tell. I'll only mention Big Frank (RIP) and Tim and Jason and Louie ("Yeah!" "yeah!")--yes, that Louie (RIP). But Lamppost is in Uptown Pizza Co.'s DNA, or at least Big Frank's special, super secret sauce is baked into the walls of this place's pizza oven, because all these years and decades later, the pizza from Uptown Pizza Co. tastes very similar to the pizza from Lamppost Pizza in the 1980s and 1990s, which is to say that it's very good. "But John S.," you're probably shouting from your easy chair, "if the owner(s) of Uptown Pizza Co. bought the business from Big Frank, then he probably gave the owner(s) his recipe!" And there, my dear, intrepid, and sadly all too impressionable readers, you would be dead wrong. Frank never shared his recipe with anyone. Not with Tim (his most trusted manager), not with his two sons (whom he hoped would take over the business), and not even with his wife. It was such a secret that Frank refused to make the sauce at the pizza place, lest someone should see him and reverse engineer the recipe by sight. No, he assembled the sauce packets on the kitchen table in his house on Mollyknoll Avenue way on the eastern side of Whitter, loaded the packets into his truck, and brought them to work each day. Perhaps unknowingly, Uptown Pizza Co. pays a kind of perverse homage to Big Frank's secretive sauce packets by giving away its Parmesan cheese in little plastic dime bags. The pizza is very good. Every time my brother is in town and we're talking about ordering pizza, he's the first to volunteer to drive all the way to Uptown to pick it up. If these walls could talk, they'd get an R-rating for bad language alone. And don't even get me started on what transpired in the alley behind the pizza shop. I don't even want to know the truth.

The sauce, the cheese, the wood fire cooking, the crust! Everything was phenomenal. This spot is so easy to miss. Inside the old bank in uptown Whittier. Her staff were with smiles and happy to answer my questions about the menu. Truthfully, this pizza hits the tone for anyone who truly has had pizza from Napoli. Some may feel different due to there being so many choices of pizza and I've had great pizza. But if you are looking for authentic, true to taste from Italy. This is the place! Will absolutely go back as soon as we can!

I ordered 1 pizza and when I ordered they told me they'd bring the pizza out to me when it was ready. I waited patiently for 40 minutes. At around 10:10pm I went to the counter to check on it, only to find they had already put up a "Closed" sign and the staff was clearly shutting down for the night. They hadn't even started making my pizza. No one bothered to tell me, cancel the order, or offer any explanation. I was just left sitting there for nearly an hour with nothing. Extremely poor communication and customer service. If you're closing soon and can't fulfill orders, don't accept them -- especially not 60 minutes before closing. Total waste of my time. I get it, it's New Years so we figured it would be super busy but we had someone forget their assignment for food so we ran over to get some meat. We stood at the deli counter for almost 15 minutes waiting to be helped. There were several workers working hard and several just standing around chatting and laughing. Nobody said a word to us until finally a woman said, "Are you wanting deli meat?" We said yes and she said "Go to the register" where two younger girls were laughing and talking- literally doing nothing, we walked over and asked if we could get some salami, and the girl said do you know what kind? And we said no we had some questions to which she responded "Well go back over there. They're going to be able to help you better than me." What? Why are you open at all, let alone on a holiday if you hate your customers or don't want to help anyone/work? There were very few customers inside and the employees attitude (the ones not preparing orders) was just nuts. I have 12 minutes of video, it's wild. The absolute best place you can go for sandwiches, deli meat, pretty much anything deli/Italian market is Claros in La Habra. They were closed- that's why we tried Lascaris. Claros also likes their customers so try them out. It's a win win.
