It wasn't that far of a drive for us and parking. There was a lot of parking and it was free and I believe you had to purchase your times to go and you wait in line and then you also have to sign like a waiver or something We love seeing all these high technology and everything. It was so cool so much opportunities for photos and a lot of things to do with your kids and they seem super entertained. Was not impressed. At all. Not worth the price and people are gross. The workers do not do their job either. Of course, the place is already quite dirty as it is, especially since it's closing soon. Some of the rooms were cool. I like the balloon room and the lights, but some people should really read the rules. First off, this family blocked the stairway to get in. And one of the family members was this short, big guy who was just running in the balloon room in circles and popping all the balloons and kicking them around up over the walls. Now that's fine, but then me and boyfriend tried to make our way in and another couple too, were there. He continued to kick up a bunch of balloons, while me and another person was trying to take pictures. He even accidentally knocked down his daughter in the process. He was extremely obnoxious and even joked about it with his family members, who just laughed and took videos. Now most of the interactive stuff was bad. It was gross for the most part due to all the germs, dirt, and hair. The balls and balloons all have random dirty smears of brown and orange on them. The ball pit was very dirty. I assume they're not planning on sanitizing any time soon due to the exhibit closing down. Anyways, we go into the light room and the worker says stay in the path and don't the lights. After two minutes, all of a sudden these three kids run in and start going into the lights and grabbing them, she stares and doesn't say a thing to them. These kids are super rowdy so I say something, and then she says oh, yeah don't do that. Pretty useless in my opinion. Most of this stuff is geared towards kids, but my bar was already super low. Bubble World located in Montebello is an immersive large world of fun in an indoor building. There are ten rooms with a load of variety. One of the negatives though is you can't buy tickets at the place and instead you have to buy them online. I find this a little annoying and what about a tourist that wants to visit and have no data on their phones? The entrance looks dark and honestly reminded me of the red room in one of those scary movies. Everything is darkly lit and they also have a giant ball pool, filled with plastic balls. I didn't go inside just because I'm a tad bit of a germaphobe. There is also a balloon room filled with pink balloons. What was a little sad was that some were already popped. Bubble World is an immersive museum that explores the world of colorful bubbles. It's located in Montebello near the Shops at Montebello outlet mall. We bought tickets online for about $40 a person on the weekend but the prices vary depending on age and the day of the week. There were some fun and colorful exhibits, such as a room of nice lights, a room full of balloons, and a ball pit. However, overall it was not worth it and most other exhibits were very simple that we just walked by them. Also, there were SO many kids that I joked that there were more kids than balloons. They were screaming everywhere and although it looks like a fun place to bring your kids, if you're not doing this you might not have a good experience. We spent about 20-30 minutes total going through this and I don't think the experience was worth the money that we paid. June 2023 / Montebello: Bubble World was a surprise from a friend! She planned the day for a friend & I! We all had so much fun! We laughed and played while walking throughout the entire bubbly experience! You couldn't help but smile! I mean, the theme is BUBBLES... and I'm still a fan of Mr. Bubbles & especially, bubble baths! Haha! Experience: Several rooms filled with balloons that you can totally walk through and throw around and just have fun & most of all, PLAY!!! The rooms are vibrant & often glowed in the dark/black lights! There was a surprise around nearly every corner! They were so many colorful photo ops, as well as light shows, and so many balloons! Just imagine, stepping down into a pool of balloons & just really letting yourself simply have fun by sinking down into them! Haha! (No jumping in though; not allowed!) There was even a fun virtual reality room, and the experience was wild! We were also given bubbles to take home with us! Fun Note: Everyone was also given bubbles to take home! One of my friends gave me his bubbles, and so now I have two! I often put them in my hand bag to take with me, as well as walk around my home randomly blowing bubbles with the bubble wand, every now and then... and when friends are over! It's fun!! Bubble Tea: How sweet! On the way out & with our VIP Passes, we were told to open the refrigerator and get a drink of our choice! One friend wanted water, the other friend gave me his ticket, and so I got 2 Bubble Tea drinks; Taro & Matcha Green Tea Latte and they were both absolutely delicious! Taro was my favorite! And yes, I drank them both! Haha! After all, it was a super hot day in Montebello! Gifted: With our VIP Passes, we were given a choice of Bubble Themed Posters to take home with us! I had an idea to just give them to the kids that were already in the room and let them pick out the posters to take home! The parents were super happy and so were the kids! Yay! Early Arrival: We had VIP Passes; no line! Hooray! Also, we went on an we went on a weekday (Thursday), so it wasn't crowded inside! After the event, there was a huge line of people outside! The bubble machine in the last room malfunctioned the day we went on 9/23/23 which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the "Bubble" world. There was only a cactus lol The place was quite crowded and warm inside. TONs of screaming kids - they love the big pink balloon room and the room with the pool of small balls like Chuck E Cheese. Definitely bring your own hand sanitizers. Despite the lack of real bubbles, you do get a few good photo ops here. With our big group of 8+, we each pay about $37 for 1.5 hour to chill and hang. Plenty of parking but they do make you sign a waiver before going in so give yourself some extra time. 3.5 stars. read more

Friends and I could have fun being kids with our kids and there were so many activities. I kept thinking the museum would end but there was more! Let me just lay in this ball pit and relax! There is even a game room with interesting games. Sometimes parts of the exhibition didn't work but it seemed like someone was working on fixing it because it would be up and running a little later. A few of the exhibits want kids to take off their shoes and there are hand sanitizers throughout. I would say it's worth it to go once! Oh, come on! 3 stars?! Bubble World is fun if you allow yourself, regardless of what age you are (though, honestly, supervise your kids because adults are accidentally falling over your child in the ball pit because your kid just laid there). Let me explain...as a grown-ass career woman in her 40s, I enjoyed and was fascinated with not only the photo opportunities worthy of Instagram posts (for fame or for family), but I also appreciated the immersive actitivities. Every room had a bit of surprise, and when I thought it was all over (I misread the exit sign), a young host pointed in the direction of being so much more. So why not a full 5 stars? It gets a bit hot in there. I suppose the lack of AC could be because you don't bubbles and balloons flying away, but it was a bit hot. I also had my first virtual reality interaction, and that made me a bit motion sick. When I took off the headset to take a moment to myself, it started me from the very beginning when I put the headset back on. That activity costs an additional $5. You can tell that the exhibit has been around for quite some time, but it's natural wear-and-tear, but everything from beginning to end was fun. I would definitely go again and hoped of bringing my nephews. It is the same location as Dino's Alive and the Van Gogh Experience, so if you would like to make a day out of it, all three exhibits are in same building and uses up the same parking lot. Oh, and you do have to sign a waiver and I can see why. I am not a fan of popping balloons and there is a room that ensures to be surrounded by balloons. Bubble world was an incredibly fun immersive experience. It was larger than we expected and the exhibits were engaging. We visited on a Monday so, it wasn't busy. We were able to take our time with each exhibit; took us nearly two hours to finish. The price for the general 2 adult tickets and 1 child ticket was $87.70. They charge a booking fee of $15 bringing the grand total to $102.70. Honestly, it was money well spent. Our favorite exhibit was their bubble bath tub or you can just say ball pit. Normally, I avoid ball pits because I see them as a cesspool, but this one didn't look or feel filthy. It was large enough too that people were spread out. We also loved the room filled with balloons. It was fun getting lost in them and surprising each other with a balloon to the face. The room filled with string lights that changed color was beautiful. In this room, you had to follow a path. Apparently, too many people allowed their kids to run through the exhibit and pull or break the string lights. Thank you to those folks, who ruined and were still ruining the fun and experience for everyone else. Don't let this stop you though; the whole thing was a blast. read more

Been to quite a few immersive exhibits in NYC- this one in SoCal is fairing pretty good. This exhibit gears mainly towards younger kids- with at least six interactive walk through rooms; the ever popular infinity LED lights room was a bit like a mirrored maze and hard to find the exit. As an adult I entered the Bubble ball pool pit and was unable to climb my way out- had to be rescued by my bestie Angelina H. and my own kid. At the end of the exhibit there is an interactive colored board for patrons to color their own drawings and scanned on the wall projector to watch the artwork move. The good: I'm shocked by the negative reviews because I had an amazing time here! It may have been due to the fact that I came on a Wednesday morning and the place was pretty empty. I was able to experience all of the rooms alone (with my family). I was worried that I wouldn't be able to experience certain exhibits because I had a 3-month old strapped on my chest but I was able to interact with all the exhibits! I was even able to play in the giant balloon room and the ball pit. My 2 year-old toddler cried when we left because she had so much fun and didn't want to leave. Our experience lasted for an hour and 15 minutes. My kids were both free. I loved how some of the rooms really made you feel like you were in another world. It was trippy and transported me into a visually stunning realm that felt psychedelic. I loved how every room offered something super different. There are photo opportunities, an area to draw, a game room and more. I'd highly recommend this place. The ball pit was a blast and a leg massage! At first, I thought I'd hate the balloon room because I dislike balloons popping but they gave the balloon some lax and didn't inflate it fully so it doesn't feel like they're about to burst. The bad: The giant two stick bubble wand with the net didn't work when we came. It kept going up to the fan and the fan was too weak to form bubbles. The carpet toward the beginning was pretty dirty. There were kids in the small hall pit at the exit who didn't take their shoes off. The game room was my least favorite because I didn't understand what the giant inflatable brown square was. You couldn't jump on it and it flattened immediately when you stepped on it. Some of the blowing games didn't seem to work either. Some of the ducks in the bathtub photo op were ripped on the walls. The interesting: I signed waivers at the door but wish I had signed them before to save time. I didn't get promoted to sign them before but I'm sure you could do it. Really really interesting! LOL Bubble world is a great place to take your kids to play and hangout for a few hours. For adults, I would probably pass on coming here. It's very TeamLab-esque, with the light room and the balloon room. Bubble World, however, is probably an experience I wouldn't necessarily want to experience again. Pros 1) lots of parking. No fee. Plenty of parking space when going on a weekday. 2) this 2023 fee: adult $32.20, child $26.50. There is a surcharge even if you buy in person. 3) plenty of spots for photo ops. 4) a large pool of balls you can play in. 5) a room full of balloons. 6) a few different rooms for unique experiences. 7) staffs were very nice. They explained the rules professionally. 8) each room we went to didn't look like it was a mess. It looked cleaned. But I'm sure with the amount of people that goes in, staffs wouldn't have time to clean each room constantly. 9) the last room with the cactus... the bubble machine wasn't on. It was just an empty room with a cactus on the middle. Lol. But there were 3 little rooms in there: 1 is to make a big bubble while you're in the middle of it, 1 is a 20 second video recording of you, and one had nothing in it. 10) Not sure what the room with all the pool noodle trees was for. It looked like a human wash (like a car wash), but it wasn't moving. Just sat there. 11) they had a gift shop. Cons 1) where we paid to go in at the front, the staffs were trying to help me. There was like 4 of them at the cashier section and only one machine for patrons to pay. My receipt didn't print. A staff there was cussing trying to get the machine to print the receipt. Lol. I think cussing came very natural to them that they may have not realized they cussed. Very unprofessional. Only one of them was cussing. Well, he only cussed a couple of times. No big deal. But it is unprofessional if you're dealing with customers for a business. Conclusion My little one liked this Bubble World. Had a great time. Parking was plenty! This event wasn't packed, so we got to take our sweet time in each room and even able to take lots of pictures with no interruptions. Staffs were very nice and even helped take our photos. I believe there are a total of 10 rooms in the Bubble World adventure. The ginamous bubble pit is a treasured area for many...including myself. Tons of mobile phones and sunglasses have made the bubble pool their permanent home except mine; I HELD ON TO MY PHONE FOR DEAR LIFE LOL. The room attendant said our staff doesn't look for missing phones in the pit; you can enter with a phone at your own risk. There was a Lifesize beach ball & a ginormous duck to throw at other people amongst the sea of miniature bubbles. The bubble sea was the top treasured room of this experience. Next, the multiple tiny rooms within a room echoed "Alice in Wonderland" vibes. I don't know; it's just my opinion. I wondered did anyone notice the tiny door upon entrance that read "enter here". It would have been a tight squeeze but definitely possible to enter through the miniature door. Two of the favorite rooms within a room was the swing room and the BATHTUB OF RUBBER DUCKS = FUN! We had the day to spend in LA and I found this place on TikTok. It looked like so much fun, and it was! I got the Fever app to get tickets for my boyfriend and I. Luckily, I scored a discount code and got a few dollars off. The app was really easy to use and we also used it to filled out the waiver forms. We visited on a Thursday and there was a very long line. The employee apolgized to everyone saying that they were shortstaffed. We got there around 12:15 for the 12:30 spot, and there were still a bunch of people for the 12:00 spot. I was nervous to see how long it would take for us to get in. Fortunately, we got in at 12:40. There were soo many rooms that I lost track. We said "There's another one??" every time we walked into a new room. We had a blast exploring all the fun and interactive rooms. My favorite rooms were the balloon room, ball pit room, and the room with all the lights. I felt like a little kid again. Although, I had to be careful to not bump into one of the actual kids-- Be careful in the ball pit! It was also fun at the end where you can take pictures and make a giant bubble. They also give you mini bubbles to take home. After you made it through all the rooms, you'll end at the gift shop. I loved seeing all the fun bubble toys you can take home or give to friends. Bubble World was Amazing! I planned my daughters 8th birthday and took 14 7-8 year old girls with me. I was so nervous about the A/C and all the negative reviews about the heat. Got the girls super light cotton matching shirts... took 2 backpacks of ice cold water... and nothing. Air was fine. It wasn't hot at all. Place was so so so much fun. Some rooms are more interactive than others. I would say 8 out of the 11 rooms were amazing, 1 was ok, 2 were nothing. We spent over 2 hours there. Went through it once and then they were itching to go back to the balloon room and ball pit so we did those again. I am so glad I ignored the reviews and didn't cancel because it was an epic outing. Staff was so friendly. Was surprised by how much fun the room with the photo ops were. The girls couldn't get enough of them. We definitely got our moneys worth and then some. Negatives: 1. It gets crowded. The rooms are decent sizes- esp the ball pit. It's huge. But if you really want to have a good time, go early. 2. VIP package is not worth it. However, I came to bubble world because of the tik tok influence that I seen which made this place seem so much more fun and nice than it really is. Indeed the ball pit is nice of course with hardly anyone in it. The mirror room was also very cool to see and get nice pictures in. Everything else though was very okay... The VIP access for the VR room as well was very disappointing. The graphics or video played on the headset wasn't very immersive at all and instead gave us headaches.. I came here also thinking there would be bubbles... 0 bubbles at all besides from the staff bubble toy gun. The room that was suppose to have the robot arm and bubbles everywhere was broken. So that was a whole exhibit missing basically! Overall, I wouldn't come back here again, but I guess it's cool to see for the first time. Also don't get the VIP pass. We got the VIP and expected cool merch or a better experience but it really wasn't much more than the regular. Great experience - horrible staff. What could have been an amazing experience for my children was ruined by unhelpful, inexperienced and rude employees. First, the check in was a mess. No one directing us where to go for each experience or if you have VIP tickets, regular tickets or need to purchase tickets. Employees sort of standing around. There were two girls filming for their Only Fans channel wearing next to nothing and at one point exposing themselves in a room filled with small children of all ages. We advised the staff and they did absolutely nothing. We confronted the girls ourselves which did basically nothing but end in an argument with them cussing at us. We purchased a Boba Tea voucher in advance. DO NOT DO THIS. It's not a nice Boba Tea. It's literally a crappy Boba in a can. They are closing the exhibit soon so they have limited inventory and only had coffee flavor. Obviously this is not appropriate for a child. They refused to swap it out for a water or Sprite and did not refund us either. The staff only cared about money and getting as many people in the exhibit as possible spending as much money as possible. read more
