I'm very impressed with the project manager and the entire team at Prime Team Builders, Inc. My master shower valve had been acting up since 2023. Because the previous valve set did not have a make or model, the previous plummer could not figure out how to replace parts or where the problem was coming from (he suggested that it could be due to the handheld sprayer or the water pressure). Since I had already gone through two water damages, I was very much on edge and was afraid of another leak. So far, I've had to replace my water heater twice, replace the entire horizontal pipes in my crawl space, repair the leaky chimney, & replace the entire roof. So when the master showerhead started to leak, I did not want to take any chances. I had made several attempts to try to fix the leak coming from the showerhead, but there was no way to fix the valve set without getting into the wall (there wasn't a closet door to access the valves). Since the wall had to be taken down in order to access the valves, the final decision was to replace the entire shower valve set & remodel the bathroom. The remodel involved removing the existing jacuzzi tub that was not useful and make closet space. Granted there was the run-around of unavailable inventory at the store, I was ultimately pleased with the final outcome. The project manager did a good job coordinating all phases of the project, from removal & demolition to permit inspections, measurements, and third party workers (i.e. window installer). I like the fact that there was a shower pan test to check for leaks and that the cement was layered twice without any workaround. Sam paid attention to tile trims & how much of a difference that made on the appearance as well as delivering on building a working relationship by trying to make his customers happy. The workers did an excellent job with the fine detail on the shower system installation and the tile work. It's a miracle how the workers were able to tile the window sill with such perfection. Unlike numerous nails & gutters left behind on a previous roofing project at my Mom's house, the workers for this project cleaned up the driveway area where the tiles were cut and the materials were all cleared. I'm impressed with the work and would definitely recommend Prime Team Builders for a remodel project. read more

Long time coming on this review. We used Prime Team Builders just last month for a total roof replacement and about 100 SQFT addition to our driveway. I have a kitchen leak that created some damage at my home and needed to find a contractor to come and inspect. I found Prime Team Builders on Yelp, they had great reviews and their worked looked very much in line with my home, so I gave them a call. What a professional company! From the person who answered their phones, to the owner himself. I was told up front that the company doesn't do insurance claim work generally and was given a very reasonable explanation as to why - totally get it. However, what they did next really tells you tons about this company. The woman in the office called me back after we concluded our call and told me that her boss, the owner, was going to be in my area later in the day and would I like him to stop by and just take a look at my kitchen and give me some feedback. I was looking for contractors to rebuild the drywall in what would become my new baby's nursery after performing mold remediation in February 2023. The amount of drywall that had to be removed was extensive, an entire wall, half of the ceiling, and even a portion of drywall in the living room. The owner, Sam Haviv, scheduled me in for an in person estimate very soon after I reached out, probably about 2-3 days. He was very up front and detail oriented during the estimate, and I appreciated how he wanted to come inspect it in person as opposed to many contractors who just want to view pictures and give a very rough estimate online. I decided to go with Sam due to his attention to detail and personal concern over all the facets of the project. I didn't feel like he was rushing me and took the time to answer all my questions and go over all the options with me. Even though my job was small compared to some other clients, he still provided me with excellent service and was always attentive to my needs. Once the job started, he was very communicative both over the phone, via text, and even in person to check on the project status. The biggest differentiator for Sam in my mind is that he makes you feel like he's personally invested in your project turning out great, not that he's just trying to get your job done and move on to the next one as soon as possible. This was really important to me given how complex and unique our project was. We wanted to 1) demolish a closet and move the doorway to the middle of the wall and 2) refinish a wall that was directly adjacent to the chimney. This wasn't just simply nailing in drywall to studs, and Sam's crew was great in their attention to detail and checking in to make sure everything was done according to my spec. The actual work was completed in a timely manner at a fair price, and he even connected me with other subcontractors he works with directly when our project had to expand in scope due to unforeseen circumstances.
