Plenty of 5 star ratings which would lead one to believe the best about this company. However I took my wife's laptop in early on a Friday morning. Jason explained it probably needed a new solid state drive and a clone of the data to transfer to the new drive. I called Monday at noon and Zack said it was being worked on but Chad the assigned tech was out to lunch. I called back at 2:45 and got some Nichole on the phone and she said Chad was busy at a jobsite but she would check on the status of the laptop and said it already had been worked on. Then she said various things like "it will probably be done by Wednesday" and other things I couldn't understand. I immediately called back and asked for Jason. He said he had lost track of our laptop and he explained that it was just now being worked on by Nichole and that nothing really had been done at all by Chad or anyone else. I was now very angry with the entire run around I was getting from them all and drove right to their shop to get the laptop back. Then I was told that I had to wait until Nichole put it back together? I was furious about the conflicting reports, explanations about how busy everybody was and then I expressed my displeasure with the whole situation. Unfortunately Jason who was nice in the very beginning gave me a poor explanation of all that had transpired and then asked me "Do you want us to fix it or not"? I left even angrier to find another company interested in wanting to fix our laptop. Apparently this outfit will fix something if they get around to it and could care less about getting a job done unless Chad their tech is working on it. I was told by Jason when I brought it in that It should not take long to get it running again. No solid commitments, flippant customer service and you won't ever know when your job will be done or if it will be done correctly or at all. Proceed with caution. I had most of the components to the desktop and they provided the rest along with assembling the computer. It's hard to find a computer shop you can trust. Let me tell you, YOU CAN TRUST Prime Systems. The staff is knowledgeable beyond anywhere I've been. I took my computer in with a simple problem. They looked at it right away, helped me learn how to download a driver and the charge was minimal. Then I asked about monitors because I needed something for my wife. I was going to buy her 2 curved monitors but the tech questioned how it would be used. Well, since video was going to be a minor use he explained why a flat monitor would be better. Then instead of selling me 2 monitors he showed me how the right monitor could show two screens at once saving me the purchase of a 2nd monitor. Trustworthy? You bet. A little background, I worked at Prime Systems for over 4 years. Even after working here I still frequent here for parts and general tech talk. I have not purchased a machine from here in the past 5 years as I build all my machines from components, but I do purchase parts from here. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. If there is something they don't know, they'll research it or find somebody that does. The owner is very caring and does his best to know every customer and goes out of his way to help make any wrong, whether actual or perceived, right. Even though Prime Systems may be more expensive than Dell/HP, their computers are quality built, local (which means you can actually talk to someone face to face) and there is no high pressure sales (they want you to buy the computer YOU want and need, not the most expensive one). The only negative that I have experienced, both as an employee and customer, is time delays. Prime Systems is very thorough in trying to make the computer function properly that they often go over their estimated time. IE, we'll have your computer ready by 5 tomorrow. In reality it will be ready the day after at noon. This is often due to a backlog of orders and a thoroughness to ensure everything is fixed. read more

My experience with this place has been terrible. I purchased one computer and had one fixed. Within a month, neither one worked. I Was charged an outrageous price somewhere around 1300.00. It's a total rip off and had I have been more knowledgeable, I would have shopped around before going here. I would say be very cautious and do your research before purchasing anything from this place. Highly disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more
