Our tech, Cameron, brought our computer back today. Both he and the owner reported that our computer worked fine at the store. As it turned out the chord which connects the computer to the power was broken. It was replaced immediately by the owner, who drove the part to our home. We were not charged for the visit and our computer works very well now. The only concern was the grounding from our wires in the house. (Old house) I am so grateful for the business not giving up on our equipment or us. A personal apology to the business for my original angry review. This is the real one!

I don't even live in the area anymore, but if I did, I'd go back and give them another chance. Old review: This place is awful. The guy there was rude, short with me, and totally ripped me off. My friend Heather had an awful experience here too - that's why I'm going to the trouble writing this review. I hope I can save someone from losing money and getting treated terribly. I was told they were ahead of schedule and already working on it. I was quoted over 500 to set it back to factory. Most of that was backup fees. It was a new computer and had maybe 3 files on it. He then lowered it by half when I pointed this out. I left it there, but I didn't feel I had a choice. When it was "done" a week later, it still had the same problems! He still charged me a ridiculous amount. When I complained, he told me about how many hours were spent on it. He did lower it a tiny bit, but not enough. Finally, when I dropped off my computer it had Windows 10. Now it has Windows 7! I feel like I was screwed and taken for. DO NOT GO HERE! I should have read the reviews myself. Got to the shop but parts were used for another customer, no problem. They could order another. The clerk in charge couldn't determine if my Pixel was eligible for warranty and suggested I return Wednesday to have the manager make that determination. Wednesday I called and talked to the manager. She didn't sound like she had any intention of warranting the part but promised to call when the part is in stock and we could begin the warranty process. She sounded like she was there to provide customer service but had no intention of actually providing it. The repair quote from ubreakifix.com if not covered under warranty was twice the cost compared to Google. End of story....I sent the phone to GOOGLE, they repaired it, and sent it back to me. After discussing the possible scenarios of what could have happened and what my options were, he was able use some of the equipment there to get the screen working again at no charge! It's been that way for roughly 20 years...even before REVO started as a spin-off from "Software & More" there in Holliday. The PC consultant there from Software & More, Jerry, who helped build us our first custom desktop back in the early 2000s started his own company in Cottonwood Heights called REVO Technologies when S&M went out of business. We purchased our second gaming/workstation "Stryker" desktop from him eight years ago...AND a 17" "Falcon" gaming desktop as well for my personal use. Despite a few glitches/bugs here and there, both of these last two PCs have been performing admirably...as we've continued to patronize REVO for upgrades, repair, and tuning. The most recent purchase last week was for my wife's "Stryker" desktop which needed some Win10 tweaks due to some mistakes I made last spring with User Account Control and administrative privileges... oops. I dropped the desktop off with Chris - the repair tech - on Monday last week and by late afternoon he had it finished, updated, cleaned, and working like a top! I paid for the diagnostics/repair ($70) and the tuning/cleaning service ($70) which eliminated all of the nasty dust that had collected on the inside of the tower case. Yuk...but money well spent! We got it back home and the new Canon MF753Cdw color Laserjet All-in-One printer drivers installed perfectly. My wife is back in business! Woo-hoo. As in the past, excellent service from Jerry, Chris, and the pros at REVO. Well done, and again Five Stars for responsive and accurate service.

A few were so bad you could barely make out what was being filmed because of all the loss, distortion, etc. I thought I just waited too long to transfer them and those memories were pretty much lost. These guys recovered essentially 100% of the images and quality. I can't believe how well they turned out. Go to these guys for media transfer archiving.
