If you read my prior reviews, you'll see that REVO Technologies is my go-to venue for all things computer-related. It's been that way for roughly 20 years...even before REVO started as a spin-off from "Software & More" there in Holliday. The PC consultant there from Software & More, Jerry, who helped build us our first custom desktop back in the early 2000s started his own company in Cottonwood Heights called REVO Technologies when S&M went out of business. We purchased our second gaming/workstation "Stryker" desktop from him eight years ago...AND a 17" "Falcon" gaming desktop as well for my personal use. Despite a few glitches/bugs here and there, both of these last two PCs have been performing admirably...as we've continued to patronize REVO for upgrades, repair, and tuning. The most recent purchase last week was for my wife's "Stryker" desktop which needed some Win10 tweaks due to some mistakes I made last spring with User Account Control and administrative privileges... oops. I dropped the desktop off with Chris - the repair tech - on Monday last week and by late afternoon he had it finished, updated, cleaned, and working like a top! I paid for the diagnostics/repair ($70) and the tuning/cleaning service ($70) which eliminated all of the nasty dust that had collected on the inside of the tower case. Yuk...but money well spent! We got it back home and the new Canon MF753Cdw color Laserjet All-in-One printer drivers installed perfectly. My wife is back in business! Woo-hoo. Had some issues with a rebuild. They diagnosed a faulty motherboard within a day. I took it home and screwed up and lost hope that more was busted they again took a look at it and called within an hour that they had fixed it for me. Love these guys for being quick proactive and incredibly friendly. Chris even called me after hours to let me know it was ready to come home the next day real stand up guy if you ask me! read more

I had just gotten a new GPU and CPU and while trying to put it together I messed up my PC. I have no experience with PCs so when my monitors weren't turning on, I knew I had to go get my PC checked out. I went here to Revo Technologies in hopes they could fix my PC. Not only did they fix my PC, but they went above and beyond. They got everything complete in one business day - I was mind blown at their care for their customers! Reviews for other PC shops say they take WEEKS/MONTHS! I cannot recommend this place enough. They even called me multiple times to make sure I was aware of every step of the process. They also put screws in my PC where they were missing, cleaned it and installed a free wifi 6 (i believe that's what it is called - it is something that makes the connection to wifi faster)! They were able to get my PC up and running with quick diagnosis and when they found out it was an issue with my motherboard, they gave me amazing options to choose from for a new motherboard as well as a CPU cooler that would fit the new motherboard. I had all of this work done a couple weeks ago, and ever since, my FPS in videogames has tripled, and everything runs SO smoothly! I seriously cannot say how amazed I am with this business. If you have issues with your PC, best believe this business is going to take care of them, and more! Great experience working with Jerry and Adam. I had a pc project I wanted to finish for my wife, they were able to get me situated with a new motherboard, CPU, GPU and labor; very reasonable with pricing and excellent service/knowledge. They were also very understanding when I was underwhelmed with the performance of an RTX 3050 and didn't hesitate to make it right- that type of service level is rare, I will definitely use Revo for future pc builds and hardware help! read more

I brought a laptop in with a screen malfunction. Five hundred dollars and four months later, I bought my computer. Do not go here they will rip you off. Update: and now the computer is failing start up, one week later. I've used it once since I recovered it from the shop. Revo offered IT services if I had troubles but I don't want to get ripped off again. read more

I've been looking around for a computer place to build a tower on and off for a few years, but only came across these when I had a major laptop issue and took it to them to handle it, as it was something beyond me (which only took me 6 weeks of trying to decide). They did a great job of getting it handled, coordinating with the actual computer vendor, and letting me know when it was done, which was exactly what I wanted...and now I know where to look for the tower (which I didn't really want to do myself). read more

These guys were life savers. I looked high and low for a power brick with various power settings and interchangeable adapters. I checked all the major stores and nobody had it or knew what I was talking about. I needed this like yesterday. So after giving up the search, thinking I'll have to pay double the cost and order it online and not get it in time. I saw this place driving back to the office. I said let me give it a try. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I told them exactly what I needed and like magic the guy said I have one of those left. I asked them if I can test it to make sure the unit powers on and sure enough like magic it turned on. I was so so happy, that I have to give them 5 stars and the assist!!!! read more

This place just opened in the old Alphagraphics building on Fort Union. Really clean and organized. Most important, helpful staff for the not so tech savvy. My 81 year old dad always wants me to order stuff off Newegg but now I can just send him here. Thank God I found this place. Helpful and prices are competitive. Plenty of parking. read more

I was excited to see such high ratings for Revo Technologies. I would much rather support a local small business than going elsewhere. Unfortunately my experience was not the same as everyone else. I purchased a Dell Inspiron just over a year ago and the power button stopped working. I took it into Revo to have it looked at. After about a day they called me and said that it would be cheaper to buy a comparable laptop instead of fixing mine. I took their word for it and purchased a new laptop. 3 months passed and I decided to look into the issue myself. After a couple You Tube videos, I found the part online for $30 to fix the power button. Once the part arrived, it took me about an hour to fix on my own. I feel like a full service computer department should have been able to diagnose it as well as I did. I guess not.... read more

Got my computer fixed at REVO, the staff was incredible and very helpful. Today I picked up my computer, had hardware replaced and they installed new programs. They were cost efficient and fast. I would suggest you consider REVO for all your computer needs. read more

I had noticed the Asus products signs on this location in passing, and when my transformer started to give me grief I stopped in. George greeted me in a warm friendly manner, and got right to troubleshooting my tablet. This was the most satisfying contact I have ever experienced, in a computer repair store...Big Box dealers eat your heart out, I'm devoted for life. read more

I took my PC in for what seemed to be a dead power supply late in the afternoon. Revo was able to diagnose this and turn around a repair for me quite quickly and for a totally reasonable price. In fact, the owner stayed after hours to make sure I got my machine back for the weekend! The staff were courteous and helpful and I will certainly be going back. read more

I have gone to Revo Technologies for about a year now. I recently got into custom PC builds. The staff at Revo is always willing to help me with information and ideas on building different PC's. I now am on my third custom built PC and I always go to Revo. They really seem interested in what I am doing and really make me feel at home in their place of business. One word, AWESOME for Revo. I had such a great experience here. I had my computer fixed by Jerry and his team and the service was prompt and courteous. He made it clear what I needed to fix my keyboard and upgrade my hard drive, told me the cost and when it would be completed. Got the job done in one day and called me to tell me when it would be ready. I cannot say that of some of the other service providers I've used to fix my cars, for example. Awesome place... Needed a computer to drop some components into, and they were able to find one that worked perfect for my needs at a great price too. My son's laptop broke and thank goodness I found this place down the road. Very good customer service, and he said he can fix it in a few days when the parts come in. I'm just happy I don't need to send the laptop back to the manufacturer that would have taken many weeks or few months lol! They build computers to your specs, and many awesome parts that I don't need to wait ordering on the web and wait for a week to get it. I love this store and you will too! read more

Revo came through big for me in a big way, and I highly recommend them for any computer-related needs. They have a wide range of products and services, but my specific issues was an emergency with a hard drive. They responded fast with great communication and service, even on short notice, and on a weekend. Service is important, and these guys exceeded all expectations with great communication and option assessment during every step of the process during a complex repair. This service is top-notch, and Revo knows how to take care of people with a wide range of needs. I plan on going back for more service in the future. read more

I don't know much about computers. The guys at Revo were friendly and knew what they were doing. Glad I found them to fix my computer.

I would be careful of this place. Over charged, took advantage of people who lack extensive computer knowledge ( which is why you would end up here ) and in our experience pretty unprofessional (the owner). They took on a job, which looking back on, was likely out of their scope. While they did get everyone up and running, they well over double charged what they bid (thousands), carried on like it was an open ended ticket, and billed for services which they didn't perform. Revo is the local computer store you want to have nearby. Their in-stock inventory is impressive and prices very reasonable; but more than that, their service is what makes them great. They're knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and courteous. Highly recommended. read more

Brought in my desktop computer to get it operating the way I wanted, Windows 7 off and 10 installed, Ubuntu installed and in control of grub, and getting the power off working. It took 2 tries to fix the power off problem, and in the end , I have a wonderful working computer. read more
