Mattress Firm is awful and so disorganized. Placed my order three months ago, had to call and…read morerequest another credit card be issued about a month ago. Come to find out, that representative changed my delivery date! So instead of sleeping on a new bed I slept on the floor yesterday (stores are now closed Wednesday and Thursday with no notice to people with outstanding orders). Had to fight for almost this entire day on the phone to get a mattress NOT the one I ordered! Because they found out it was out of stock before the delivery. Had to have a third party deliver that cost me extra money, had to carry it up the staircases myself AND told me I might have to put the base together myself! This all would have been included in my original delivery of my PLUSH mattress. And now I may need to go buy a mattress topper to even sleep on this FIRM mattress they delivered to me and SPEND EVEN MORE MONEY. Moral of the story- Mattress firm is awful. Save your money and more importantly your sanity and go to Nebraska Furniture Mart. This place is awful.

Overall just helpful and kind folk working! The block party itself was awesome, they had Betty Rae's on staff (shoutout David who worked the ice cream truck) serving free ice cream, lots of giveaway merch, the Bob's cup car was there and a wonderful site, and had a ps5 running with display furniture to try out! Once Denny got there, the staff made sure the line moved smoothly, while giving everyone a chance to have a memorable chat/signing with Denny! The collaboration with JGR staff and Bob's staff was wonderful as well, everyone involved made sure the fans were treated well and enjoyed the event! Mike (who I believe was in charge of the event for the store, was in particular a wonderful person to chat with! If I need furniture in the future, this event left quite an impression, and I'll be sure to visit Bob's again!

Hence my recent visit to purchase a mattress at a discount store and not NE furniture Mart. I know I can basically get the same thing, cheaper, somewhere besides the big chains and I really feel like this is what I got. I looked at a few discount stores and selected this store after Scott, the store manager, let me lounge, nap and basically take over the store for an afternoon. He was knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, did I say not pushy...I was sold, pillow top and all. Delivery and removal of the old set is included in the price. They even donate the old bed to charity and you get the tax credit. Can you ask for more?

The bed still feels brand new 5 years later and the kitchen table is still beautiful/sturdy as ever. Safe to say the quality here goes a long way and you will get your money's worth! The guest service here is unmatched by any other furniture store I've ever been to. From the freshly baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and beverages when you walk in to employees all over the floor eager to help you find what you need or just to say hello. Furniture mall of Kansas is the Four Seasons of furniture stores because they really take care of you, especially at this location! In 2021 I was 8 months pregnant when we were looking for a new bed and I was dire need of some good rest. We got a super fancy mattress that stays cool and an electric frame, still sleep like a baby every single night to this day! Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the gentleman that helped us back then, but he was amazing and made sure we got the best deal for our money adding in two mattress protectors and free delivery. Last year around this time we got rid of our old living room set and I knew this is where I wanted to select the new one. Although, I do have to agree to an extent about the timeliness of the delivery is extensive...I almost hate to say it's worth the wait since these are pieces built to last. I have also snagged a glass bookshelf and a full body mirror to bring the new set together. To the female manager who called the other branches in Topeka and Lee Summit to get a product I saw online that the Olathe location didn't have in stock THANK YOU! I really appreciate your efforts to make it right even after I picked it up and my expectations were not met. I can't say enough great things about this location in particular, but I'll finish by saying If you are in the market for anything furniture this is the place to be! Our salesperson, Clint, told us the purchase included two free Tempur-Pedic pillows with a stated value of $400. When the mattress was delivered, the pillows were not on the truck. The delivery drivers said they would be dropped off the next day, but they never arrived. I called Clint and left a voicemail with no response. I texted him next and he replied that he would look into it. After several days without an update, I texted him again, I texted again to ask about the pillows and received no response. We chose Crowley because of the many positive reviews, so this experience has been very disappointing. Maybe they should take some money out of television marketing and put the money toward customer care.

Dear Leland, Not at…read moreall happy with the way my furniture delivery was handled today. I called you 10 minutes after the deliverymen left to report two big problems with one of the couches -- problems THEY should have caught before leaving: 1) A very prominent hole/tear at the top of the right arm. 2) A sharp tack or staple protruding from the face of same arm. (Also very prominent .... and dangerous.) Far from apologetic, you copped a nasty attitude and acted as though this was MY problem (well ..... I guess it was). You said if (IF?!) I wanted the couch replaced, it would have to be done TODAY. Because, even though I reported these problems IMMEDIATELY, you said I would be deemed responsible for these defects if the change-out was not done TODAY. First of all, there is no way anyone would look at these obvious defects and think I could have had anything to do with them. How am I going to get an INTERNAL staple/tack to puncture the covering and protrude from the couch. And when you see the manufacturing defect on top of the arm, it will be quite clear to you that a manufacturing defect is the only thing it could possibly be. Forget an apology or some simple common courtesy .... for someone who spent over $1,000 at your store. But where is the regard for my time, my convenience ..... for my TODAY? I already took the entire morning off work for this delivery. I work 70 hrs/week at three jobs to support my family. I am 100% self-employed which means No Work = No Pay. I had jobs scheduled for this afternoon, but now I will miss those hours as well because the change-out, you said, must be done TODAY. So, in addition to pissing off my own customers, today has cost me about $300 in lost income. Them's some expensive couches. Finally, you charged me almost DOUBLE what your employee Linda told me I would be charged for the transport of my old couches. (And I tipped your deliverymen very generously on top of that, despite this dirty dealing.) You told me three days ago that the deliverymen would have to assess the job when they got to my home and determine the charge accordingly. But in fact YOU had already told them what to charge me before they ever got to my place -- again, almost double the charge I was quoted by your employee. Some "Discount"! ..... Not happy.
