All the staff…read more(either at the Block party or inside the store) were wonderful; they made sure everyone attending was welcomed, gave us water multiple times, allowed us to use the restroom (without losing our place in line), and provided banter that let us know they were as excited for the event as the fans were! Overall just helpful and kind folk working! The block party itself was awesome, they had Betty Rae's on staff (shoutout David who worked the ice cream truck) serving free ice cream, lots of giveaway merch, the Bob's cup car was there and a wonderful site, and had a ps5 running with display furniture to try out! Once Denny got there, the staff made sure the line moved smoothly, while giving everyone a chance to have a memorable chat/signing with Denny! The collaboration with JGR staff and Bob's staff was wonderful as well, everyone involved made sure the fans were treated well and enjoyed the event! Mike (who I believe was in charge of the event for the store, was in particular a wonderful person to chat with! If I need furniture in the future, this event left quite an impression, and I'll be sure to visit Bob's again!

Waited a month for product and it was one thing after another , we finally had to rent a truck drive 3 hours to pick up our product we waited 1 month for and than the parts they FedEx us got rescheduled... can't make this crazy stuff up unfortunately. It was highly stressful and it was not the way I would have thought great customer service would go after spending a good amount of money , many many many phone calls later and having to pick up product with a 3 hour drive I finally have all my cabinets . Would I do it again : ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!! On a side note there were a few resolution people that were kind and patient trying to help me out . But overall Extremely disappointed and Frustrated. The value to affordability is equal to its counterpart and if something does break you have the ability to just replace the part not the whole thing . So that is a plus .

On the other hand, it's a peddler of upscale futons (is that possible?) that are custom-made and custom upholstered, the likes of which the grubby hipsters would never be able to afford without selling at least half their bongs. I appear to have awakened one morning to find that I had entered the stage of life where I no longer feel that my dwelling is empty without a futon, so when I go in here, it's usually just to look at the novelty knick knacks...wind-up nuns, libertarian quote books, obscene greeting cards, voo-doo dolls, soapstone incense burners, and whatnot. They're bedding often has exaggerated floral…read morepatterns that go beyond dated into this sort of fashionable realm...we both really like it and can recognize its odd appeal from spending too much time at our grandmother's houses, I'm sure. I like walking through the Plaza location, it's airy and interesting (although if you aren't a 50 year-old yuppie, don't hold your breath to be greeted at the door.) The prices go above and beyond what I'll be able to afford in bedding for the next 20 years, but a girl can dream can't she? I fell in love with this dreamy classic, romantic-looking cradle with a golden silk canopy draped around the four posts - for a regal baby with wealthy parents. The price tag is like $2,000, but it would look magnificent in a well-planned nursery, a mother's dream crib. Last time I was inside, I was all too coolly ignored...so bad in fact, I wondered why they spent so much effort ignoring some people and not others! And when I walked to the back of the store, I guess I caught their eye because one woman was sent to "check" on me...basically, to see if I was stealing. Oh yes! What I would have loved to take from the towel department (sarcasm)! Beyond this, Scandia Down is a place to escape in. It has beautifully detailed home pieces and a woman who enjoys decorating with an either exotic or old-fashioned flair (they somehow cover both tastes quite well) - would be happy to look around one day while window shopping on the Plaza.

There are many objects that are quite lovely, but much of the bedding and decorative linens border on "dowdy" with floral patterns that are anything but youthful. My greatest praise for Scandia Down is for the bed frame that I purchased here. It sits holds the box springs a full 18-inches above the floor, making it possible for a grown man to climb under the bed if necessary. (Anyone who has ever tried to take a reluctant housecat to the vet knows how wonderful this feature might be!) Scandia Down has models of some of the charming metal bedframes on the floor, and a thick catalog from which a bed can be ordered in a variety of styles, sizes and finishes.
