Eagles' Rest is the best. About a year ago my partner Katie and I bought two organic pillows (shredded talalay) from Diane. We've been totally satisfied. Four months ago we went and bought another pillow and additional casings (the pillows are so stuffed we took three pillows and made four). Last month we went big and bought a king size Savvy Rest bed (Medium-Soft-Soft all talalay both sides), a Savvy Rest pillow top, a woolsie top, a set of Coyuchi organic cotton jersey sheets, and I think that's it...Wow! What a great bed. Not only do we feel good knowing our bed and bedding is free of toxins, but the bed is a total dream to sleep on. So comfortable! It's silent (no springs) and just the perfect amount of softness where the bed hugs us (in a good way) while we snooze. The hardest part is getting out of it. Diane was totally helpful through the whole process. We're so satisfied. We plan on buying more furniture here in the future. We made the platform bed frame ourselves which was not too painful and turned out pretty well. Five stars and beyond for Eagles' Rest, Katie and I are so glad we have this store nearby! -Matthew S. read more

I have wanted to purchase a stressless recliner for several years. Finally, my husband said, "Just go buy one. You deserve it." So, I did! I love my chair and can honestly say that my sciatica and bursitis is much improved since using it! I also purchased a two-seat couch to match. I absolutely love the quality, color, and style of all their products. The service, provided to my husband and I while making our selections, was fantastic! They were kind and courteous, pointed our features we might have missed seeing and then graciously waited for us to make our decisions. The service, Diane and her husband who helped deliver our selections, was excellent. To Diane and her staff for providing a terrific shopping experience! The "cherry on top" was getting it on sale! Thank You! Sharlan G. read more

Friendly and caring staff for your furniture needs. They take the time to personalize your experience and provide a great service. Prices are as good or better than NFM and delivery was free! read more

We have purchased a number of things from Eagle's Rest. The staff are so helpful. And the furniture there is really fabulous. You really do get what you pay for! We recently bought a Stressless (that's the brand) couch, and I love the comfort and the way it looks in my place, and the speed with which it was delivered. A few years ago, we bought a bed there, which they delivered and assembled. Free! Then, unexpectedly, we moved about four months later. This was a very difficult bed to put together, but they came BACK and re-assembled it! And that bed was a life-changer. I think I'm done buying furniture for now, but as the need to replace comes up, they will be my go-to! read more

I'm very happy about the Savvy Rest Talalay mattress that we purchased at Eagle's Rest. Staff were extremely knowledgable and helpful as we went through the process of checking out all of the options available. Even though we had the mattress delivered 3 months after purchase, the delivery staff arrived on time and expertly fitted the mattress and topper on our new bed. I would highly recommend Eagle's Rest to anyone who wants organic, non-toxic mattresses and pillows in their home. read more

I am so happy with my new Savvy Rest latex mattress, topper and pillows from Eagle's Rest. I have not slept so well in years-maybe since college. The staff at Eagle's Rest were so knowledgeable and helpful when choosing the best mattress for us and delivery was a dream. The delivery team even helped get the linens on my new mattress before they left. Another great addition to my home from Eagle's Rest! read more

I am now the very happy owner of a latex mattress bed from Eagle's Rest. Yes the bed is the most comfortable one I have ever tried, but more than that it has helped reduce my morning back pain. My poor husband has been sleeping on the floor for the past two years. Now that our queen sized bed is custom made for firmness on his side (and softer for me) we get to sleep side by side again. My favorite part of shopping at Eagle's Rest is the staff is far more interested in my comfort than making a sale. I doubt there are many retail businesses that can demonstrate that level of genuine consideration. Next project will be finding the perfect chair. Since it takes me hours to evaluate my comfort, I'm glad the store is such a beautiful environment to hang out. read more

We simply love our new Savvy Rest mattress. We got to choose our softness levels and it works great! Our back and neck pain from our last boxed mattress went away after one night's sleep. The bed and side tables are lovely and we really appreciate the delivery and set up. Eagle's Rest is a great shop with an excellent selection of furniture with lots of made to order options. The owners are great and we love having such a great furniture store in downtown Lawrence. Shop Local! read more

The service at Eagles' Rest is superior. All of the staff are knowledgeable and very patient. They set up the Savvy Rest bed in numerous configurations, allowing me to try each one for as long as I needed to be sure which was right for me. I am so happy to have a healthy, latex bed that doesn't off-gas petroleum by-products. This super comfortable bed will last me a life time. read more

I have fibromyalgia and chronic neck pain - bone spurs in my neck. I was to the point where I would stay up most of the night rather than go to bed because I knew the pain would keep me up anyway. I could never get comfortable. I recently bought a Savvy Rest mattress from Eagles' Rest and it has made all of the difference in the world. Diane spent a lot of time customizing my Dunlop mattress so it was the perfect softness for me. I also bought a couple of shredded latex pillows which have done wonders for my neck. Like the mattresses, the pillows are customizable. They come very full and I was able to remove exactly the right amount of filling to give my neck the support it needs. Now instead of staying up, I can't wait to go to bed! I had no idea a mattress could make such a difference in my life. Eagles' Rest is the best and so are the excellent products they sell! read more

I love Eagle's Rest! I bought two pillows for my fiancé and myself, and they were absolutely fantastic purchases. Diane and Ashley were extremely attentive and helpful- I know nothing about home furnishing, and they advised me on adjustable pillows, and let me roll around on the bed as I tried out their various styles. They were patient and lovely, and I would buy an entire home's worth of furniture from them! Five stars! read more

After doing my research I want to Eagles rest on a mission to get a mattress. I couldn't be happier so far. Delivered as promised and worth every penny. Thankful to get rid of my toxic Tempur-pedic. read more

I went here with my friends when they were buying a mattress. The lady (Diane) talking to them was really pushy and obviously not interested in being helpful. She rushed them through testing mattress options that they needed more time with. Overall a bad experience owing exclusively to a terrible staff person (the worst thing is I think she owned the place so she probably won't be going anywhere soon). read more

I bought my latex mattress at Eagles Rest about 4-5 weeks ago. I wanted a natural bed after sleeping on a temperpedic & smelling those chemicals all those years. I have been extremely happy with my bed. It is so comfortable & no awful smell because all natural! I worked with Cary & he was very helpful & they delivered the bed & set everything up. Going back to get pillows because so happy with bed! read more

My mom bought a savvy rest mattress years ago and loves it, so when I went to visit her, I ended up buying one, too. In the past, we have bought "good mattresses", but we start rolling to the middle about year six. Back ache follows and we buy another mattress. It's a vicious cycle. The first night we slept on our new Savvy Rest mattress, our backache was gone in the morning. No more rolling. The mattresses is an absolute dream. Quiet, organic, natural. Dust mites can't live in it. It keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It will be the last mattress I ever buy. Although more expensive than some other mattresses, I wish I had invested in it years ago. Kristin was especially helpful in determining what layers of Dunlop and Talalay foam were the best for me. Even better, we chose a split mattress so that my husband could have his side more firm and mine more soft. Staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. A true pleasure to shop there. read more

When the time came for a new mattress, I went straight to the Eagle's Rest location in Mission, KS (home store in Lawrence, KS). The owner, Diane Gercke, was very knowledgeable and helped me select a customized latex bed. She let me try different combinations of soft/medium/firm layers of latex and also helped me choose between Dunlop and Talalay latex. I also tried different pillowtops and highly recommend the Savvy Rest Natural Full "Woolsy" Wool Pillowtop. I also got the Kapok body pillow which helps back alignment and a latex pillow. Diane couldn't have been more helpful and her associate, Cary, provided great service with his white glove delivery and bed setup. The bed is super comfortable and I rest easy knowing I am not inhaling any offgassing that is common with foam beds. I highly recommend Eagle's Rest if you are in the market for a latex bed. It was a pleasure doing business with them. read more
