The employee then said, "Well, it's free." My boyfriend and I looked at each other and agreed if it's free, why not? After we left, we noticed a $52.99 charge for the cabin filter. We turned around and came back within three minutes to ask why we were charged. We requested a refund and our old filter back. The manager refused to give us a refund and also refused to return the old filter, claiming it was already thrown away. On top of that, I also purchased a fuel cleaner. The staff was so disorganized they almost sent us off without charging us and without even putting the fuel cleaner in the vehicle. I had to remind them to do it. The whole situation felt intentional and dishonest. If it was truly free, it wouldn't have been charged. This was misleading and unacceptable. I would not recommend this place.

I had some questions about changing my transmission fluid down the road, and both of them looked into what was suggested. Upon finding a discrepancy, they were able to share some comment advice before referring me to my manufacturer's documentation. The overall mood in there was jolly and cordial. Morel pie, both guys seemed concerned with doing a good job, and it was a pleasure getting to go here. In early 2025,…read moremy 2014 Ram 2500 Powerwagon had a bad tick and it turned out to be a bad lifter that wore the camshaft... long story short, I needed a new 6.4l hemi for my truck. I got quotes for it from about 11 different mechanics. I went with 5 MILE AUTO CENTER because of the communication and the transparency of what was included and how much each item would cost. The work was done in the promised timeframe and they kept me informed on the progress and answered questions every time I had them. Then when I came in after done work and made my final payment I was informed that not everything they quoted was needed and they were able to do the work for less than what they thought and agreed on. THEY WERE TOTALLY HONEST AND ACTUALLY CHARGED ME OVER $500.- LESS !!!! I could not believe it! I have not met anyone like that!! Then later on after about 2 weeks, the fan was still much louder than I was used to (turned out my old fan clutch was actually broken and that is why it was so quiet) he replaced it and put in a new one, all under warranty, did not charge me a dime! In addition they topped off my transmission fluid which was low, for no charge at all. My experience with 5 MILE AUTOMOTIVE CENTER could not have been more pleasant! A huge shout out to the 5 MAC and everyone who works there, I d recommend them for any work you need done on your car! They are HONEST, CARING and TRUSTWORTHY, and of course, my truck runs like a champ now!! Will take all my vehicles there if I ever need anything.
