I ordered the filet mignon with a baked potato, and it was easily one of the best steaks I've had. The variety of steak sauces was a great touch. My coworkers also loved the salmon and the sautéed spinach. The only items we probably wouldn't order again were the mac and cheese, which felt a little too firm, and the crab cake, which was a bit too salty for our taste. If you're dining with a group, definitely share the sides because they're large enough for two to three people. Came to Prime for dinner and had a pleasant experience overall. We were seated promptly, and our waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The staff who kept our water glasses filled were also outstanding--our glasses were never empty. The food was good, though not quite as memorable as I expected. One standout was the bread and butter, which were absolutely delicious. We ordered the ribeye, and it was huge! I shared it with my cousin, and the staff kindly split it onto two plates for us, which was a nice touch. The steak itself was tender, flavorful, and cooked very well. We were celebrating my cousin's divorce that night and had requested an outdoor table. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get one. It seems you need to arrive right when the restaurant opens to secure outdoor seating since the patio is shared with the restaurant next door. That was a little disappointing, but not a deal-breaker. Some years ago we had a disappointing first experience at the bar: two of us came in quietly to have a glass of wine and we were puzzlingly treated with condescension and dismissal. We ordered what would otherwise have been an impressive glass of Nebbiolo $49/glass by Greg Linn, not typically on the menu we were told. Thankfully the rest of dinner improved. Fast forward and we decided to return again to celebrate an important birthday. The seafood appetizer was fresh and delicious. Elderly parents have a smaller appetite so they wanted to share a steak. We ordered medium well...but it arrived fully cooked through as photo shows. Maybe because it was butterflied to make sharing easier? Even so one doesn't expect hard cooked through steak (part because it was my dad has dentures). That was disappointing, but the saving Grace was a different excellent and attentive server who made sure everything was cut up very bite-size for my dad, and with subtle wisdom he pointed out the various virtues of the numerous sauces that came along for the ride. Salmon was ideal in tenderness and flavor. My mom loved the way it was cooked. Ordered a glass of Veuve and some fries to go with it. The interior is beautiful. We were early for our dinner reservation and were offered seating on the patio. They have misters (not sure how significant that was since we were not really near one) but it was evening and had cooled down enough that it was pleasant outside. We appreciated having the option and we had a great table that afforded a view of the fountains. Service was excellent. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Rolls were warm and yeasty and quite tasty. My bf ordered a caesar to start. I neglected to ask him how it was, so just noting that. I ordered the filet and he had the ribeye. Both were well-prepared but the meat itself was not as good as at the restaurant we went to the night before, and my filet may have been a shade over medium rare (the ends were dry). I had the filet with the bleu cheese crust - that really made the meal for me! We shared a sweet potato and mushrooms on the side. The sweet potato was a bit firm for my taste and also basically just a sweet potato cut in half. Meh. The mushrooms were tasty. We had a nice bottle of cab with dinner. Again, service was great and they were on top of keeping our glasses topped off. I was so excited when my hubby told me we will having dinner here. I've seen the restaurant when walking thru the shopping area but it's usually roped off on the stairways down and one escalator so I have never been able to check it out. We had 5pm reservation and it's around sunset so I'm even more excited. He reserved a table outside and I can only imagine how wonderful this dinner will be. Let's get the not so great stuff out of the way. 5pm reservation and lots of others also had their reservations at the same time. As it's roped off until 5pm, lots of ppl were standing around at the top of the stairs for about 5mins + until someone comes up to remove the ropes. Then it's all men for themselves to race downstairs to check in with the hostesses. As elegant and expensive as this restaurant is, this ritual needs to be removed. We all ended up lining up and literally blocking the walkway to get checked in. Made me roll my eyes. Our waiter was not too friendly. Honestly, it was our anniversary and he didn't say much, mainly stiff like a robot with not much personality. The support staff made up for what he lacked. Relaxed and nice support staff who brought up our ordered items and our anniversary dessert, helped make the dinner good. Also, it was chilly out and we noticed the heat lamps were above all the tables. We asked our waiter if the lamps can be turned out and I said I'll get that done. 10mins later we saw him and asked to have the heat lamps turned on, he said he'll ask again. A few minutes later, we saw a lady come out with a remote control to turn the overhead headlamp on. Not sure if he didn't ask the 1st time or if the lady did not come when asked but it just added to the subtraction of the experience dining here. The placement of the tables on the outside was strange. There's were plenty of reservations for 2-4ppl but there was a table for 6ppl In the front /center overlooking right in the middle of the fountain. It would have been great if they allowed all the smaller table to the middle front area so we can all enjoy the fountain more, instead of all being at an angle. I literally got out of my seat to go next to the large table, which no party was sat for the 2hrs we were there, to have a better picture of the fountain. Food was amazing though. Prices on the higher end but it's because it's on the strip and in Bellagio. Great flavors and presentation of each plate was beautiful. My husband, friends, and I went to Prime Steakhouse to celebrate two birthdays and our Anniversary. My friend made a reservation for us in advance. So when we walked in we were greeted by two friendly hostesses. My friend gave them his name and we were seated quickly. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. There were 7 of us and we were seated in a half circle booth near the entrance. We could see the fountain from the Bellagio going off from where we were seated. After waiting for a few minutes our waiter came over and introduced himself to us. He gave us the menus and then gave us time to look it over. He eventually came over and brought us our drinks and then he asked if we had any questions about the menu and he took our order. I noticed that he took a liking to one of my married friends. She has a friendly personality and she conversed with him througout the meal. I asked our waiter if we were going to get some bread at the table and he reassured me that it was coming. The bread basket was eventually brought to us and it was good. It had variety of breads which was nice. They also provided butter that you could spread on the bread if you wanted to. My husband and I ordered several things to share. We started with the Thick Cut Bacon. For our main dish we shared the 18 ounce Bone In Ribeye cooked Medium. We let them know that we were sharing and they served it to us on separate plates. We also ordered a side of the Mac and Cheese and the Truffle Mashed Potatoes. The Thick Cut Bacon came out with a presentation. The woman that brought it out described it. It was in a container filled with smoke. She then opened the container and the smoke came out. She removed the Bacon from the container and left. The Bacon was delicious. It was a thick cut and almost like Jerky but not. You could taste the smokiness and the pepper which added a little bit of spice. A very yummy start. The Bone In Ribeye was very good. It was perfectly cooked and just the right amount about 9 ounces each. The Mac and Cheese had a variety of cheesy flavors and was tasty. The Truffle Mashed Potatoes were delicious. I loved the flavor and the smooth texture. Just as we thought our meal was ending we got a surprise small piece of Cheesecake with a piece of Chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. The Cheesecake was really good. It was slightly sweet sweet and smooth. My two friends celebrating their birthdays also got one with a chocolate that said Happy Birthday. It was a nice finish to our meal. Once our plates were cleared away we waited for our bill. It took about 30 minutes. Once we got it we were deciding how to divide it. When our waiter came back he asked some of my friends personal questions regarding their marriage. My friends were obviously bothered with the situation but they both handled the situation with grace. We told the waiter how we wanted to separate the bill and he was a little frustrated. He took it and said he'd be back with it divided. We waited another 30 minutes for our split bill. At this point all of us were ready to leave. I had to get up and leave the table a few times just because we were sitting for a long time. It took about an hour between waiting for our bill, to getting it divided, to paying. Overall the experience was for the most part pleasant. It was a nice atmosphere, the food was delicious, and most of the service was okay. This was a birthday celebration for a friend and my first visit to the restaurant. We were at table 51 on 1/24/2026 - we can't remember our wonderful waitress' name. She was fabulous and very knowledgeable about the food, wine and cocktails. I believe she was a bartender at some point in her career. The gentleman we had servicing our table with water refills, bread and clearing our table was also great. Everyone we came into contact with were delightful! The food we ordered was: wagyu rib cap, filet mignon, lamb chops and the sea bass. We also got baked and mashed truffle potatoes and brussel sprouts. The sides are nice portions that can be shared. The freshly baked bread - SO GOOD. I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. Loved it! Everyone was very pleased with their choices. One complaint and only one I have is the butter was hard and should be soft and creamy- that was a little disappointing for this level restaurant. My husband got the filet. Wasn't too crazy about the sushi. It was ok. They were all seasoned the same with different fish on top. The parm chicken wasn't bad. But for me, the star of the show was 100% the bacon. It was so good!!! I can see myself craving that from time to time so it's something I'll look forward to getting next time we come. This restaurant was located inside the Bellagio. You take the escalator down to the restaurant and it was nice and open. We sat in the bar area to eat which was nice and quick. We had Doug who helped us all night. He was the absolute best! He made the night and meal enjoyable. There were a few of us eating here so we shared everything. We ordered two ordered of the bacon wrapped shrimp, bone in ribeye, truffle mashed potatoes and French fries. The bacon wrapped shrimps were so good, crispy, the right amount of saltiness and the sauce it came with was yummy and I liked that it came with pieces of avocado. The mashed potatoes were creamy, truffly and buttery. I didn't get to try the fries but the hubby and his friends enjoyed it. The star of the show was the steak! It was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious with the tallow butter that they had on top of the steak. Nice crisp to it as well. My partner and I came to Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio to celebrate our anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, the entire experience was seamless. Even on a packed night on the patio, Sheyla at the host stand went above and beyond to take care of us. They accommodate us with a patio table overlooking the fountains something we didn't expect given how busy it was. That set the tone for the rest of the evening. Once seated, we were greeted by our servers Dougie and Eric, and I cannot say enough good things about them. Their teamwork, timing, and attention to detail were flawless. Dougie especially made us feel taken care of, he was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. The standout of the night was the Kuro Ribeye topped with foie gras, which Dougie recommended. Hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. Rich, buttery, perfectly cooked a dish, it was amazing. The sommelier also guided us toward a fantastic wine pairing that complemented the meal beautifully. The passion fruit cheese cake Eric and Dougie brought out to us for our anniversary was very thoughtful ! Although we had a long wait (with reservations), the table could not have been better. Inside window seats with fountain views. The server was wonderful. She seemed to have had the same tastes as my daughter & I, which helped with our decisions. I opted for the filet mignon, which was accompanied by shishito peppers (a fav) and it was prepared perfectly (rare+). We chose sides of truffle mashed potatoes and the broccoli, which was prepared bread coated and browned, pretty tasty! My daughter selected the filet of sole, she seemed to enjoy it. We visit Vegas often and this steakhouse, and specifically Jesus, are the best this city has to offer! We dined with Jesus on the patio during my birthday trip last October and were so impressed with his expert level of hospitality that we requested him as our server on a repeat visit last night. Prime is definitely a classic and has been at Bellagio since the hotel opened in 1998. It recently underwent a renovation and the inside is stunning, perfect for a date night or celebration. We started with the crab cake which was absolutely delicious with the snap pea salad. For our mains my friend and I shared the ribeye which had a very light but nice flavors. For sides we ordered sautéed spinach, asparagus and potatoes au gratin - the potatoes were amazing! The asparagus could have used some more flavor. The ribeye was cooked to temp to perfection but the cut felt a bit thin with a ton of fat. Food and drinks came out at a steady pace since they had three servers working as a team. Our overall dining experience took a little longer than 2 hours so make sure to plan on that if you have a show after dinner. read more

I've been coming to Prime for over 20 years and I've noticed the last two visits have shown some serious decline. The recent renovations were minor and didn't change the old-school classic ambiance which is good. Food and service, on the other hand, left me sad. The worst meal my family and I had here was this past New Year's Eve. Let's start with the food issues: The Wedge Salad was really just a cut up iceberg salad, not a wedge. But what's worse, the cherry tomatoes were so hard, underripe and straight up acrid that it ruined the entire dish. Caesar was served with many wilted outer leaves of the romaine head. Not wilted because of overdressing (which is still not acceptable) but these leaves were wilted because they weren't kept fresh. Meanwhile, our waiter is of no help because he's exchanging life stories with an over-served couple for nearly 10 minutes. Tuna Tartare still has the same legendary ginger sauce which is so good and tangy you'll want to lick the plate! I just miss the tuna ribbons which used to be on the menu years ago. It made a huge difference in mouthfeel and presentation. Two of the three steaks ordered by my party were under-seasoned and the soy-mirin sauce was cold upon arriving at the table. My ribeye had a thick gray band around the steak, too. A cooking problem I've never had with Prime before. Mashed potatoes, on the other hand, were so hot that the generous amount of butter in the dish started to separate and formed an oil slick on top. Again, waiter was nowhere to be found. Other sides were good. Coffee was very watery. Service: As I mentioned before, our waiter was so busy conversing with a nearby table, he was flat out ignoring us and his other tables for large amounts of time. He was doing this all night which was completely unacceptable. Another female server even noticed our discomfort and had to step in to assist. I also witnessed our waiter sneeze in his cupped hands and then immediately proceed to hand over dessert menus to another table. No washing. Absolutely disgusting! Another very disturbing incident we witnessed was a different waiter saying to another coworker "We're not gonna get anything else out of them so get them out." So much for fine dining service. Even though they weren't talking about my party, this left an immensely bad taste in our mouths. This exchange happened right in the middle of the dining room, and not in a quiet corridor away from guests. My family and I frequently stay and gamble at the Bellagio and have many happy memories there...birthdays, holidays, milestone celebrations...but given all of this, especially on New Year's Eve, I'm just not sure if I would want to return to Prime. They seem to be embracing a "quantity over quality" style of business! read more

Completely Inappropriate Staff I'll preface by stating that I gave Prime an opportunity to make it right. Our dinner was on Saturday and called Monday to speak to a manager. The manager Robert told me the main manager was on vacation and they would be reaching out to me when he returned. I never got a call back. We had dinner on 4/25/26 for 7pm reservations, outside dinner. Food was excellent and support staff was excellent. However, our server was unprofessional, creepy and inappropriate. It was 4 of us, myself my husband and a male and female friend. Our server greeted all of us with a sarcastic tone, nothing comparable to the excellent welcoming service we have received at other steakhouses. We asked about the heating lamp above us and he said sorry that table asked for it on and it's either on or off.. umm.. that table was finishing up and the lamps were directly above us. We switched seats within ourselves and fixed the issue. We then ordered drinks and for every question I had the answer was "no" no laugh after, no "I'm just messing with you" just no and a death stare. At that point we all commented on how weird the server was being. I asked to keep a menu he said no, I just laughed uncomfortably and kept the menu. We get our drinks... he dropped in on our conversation twice... as he was walking by.. and said something mocking me because I was the one speaking at the time. Then, as Im talking I feel a slights flick to the back of my arm (I was wearing a strap top) and asked me "you're ready for another round?". I froze at how uncomfortable that made me, my husband who had not noticed what happened asked for another round for the girls and he said "we'll let the girls get drunk".. and the servers response was "oh I know, trust me"... once he left I told my husband and friends what he had just done.. everyone asked if I was okay but in the moment I didn't want to ruin the night and I felt like if we told a manager I would definitely become upset and I didn't want to do that. He only kept being weird, as I was taking pictures of the fountain he purposely got in my shot and just stood there laughing. I seriously felt like I was being picked on by him. The last thing was there was another older couple with both their bodies facing the fountains and we see him put his hand on her back, her husband can't tell. I don't care how sweet or nice you are as a server there is no reason why a) server should be a touching you and b) doing it in a way where it seems sneaky because you're husband can't see. When he approached our table again I made sure to put my back against my chair and face him when talking so he wouldn't have an opportunity to touch me again. Thankfully he didn't really come around towards the end of the dinner and the support staff brought some relief. It's hard to write a review like this because I would never want to interfere with someone's livelihood or employment but I strongly believe this man should not be serving anyone. I think his behavior is intentional and even if it isn't he needs to be made aware of how uncomfortable he is making female costumers. I hope Prime makes this right, unless he represents something that they agree with. read more

We've been to Prime Steakhouse multiple times, but this was our first time being served by Dougie, and it completely changed the experience for us. From the moment he walked up, the vibe was perfect -- friendly, confident, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell instantly that he knows his craft. Dougie walked us through the menu with real passion and made incredible recommendations. The F1 Filet was buttery and flawless, and the Kuro Wagyu Ribeye was rich, tender, and unbelievably flavorful -- easily one of the best steaks we've ever had. He also had us try the Crispy Sushi Trio which ended up being a surprise favorite of the night. And of course, the Truffle Mashed Potatoes were next-level as always. The teamwork between Dougie and his back server, Eric and their busser I couldn't remember his name worked together seamless. They moved like a well-practiced trio -- water refilled, plates cleared, timing perfect, and every detail handled without us ever having to ask. Even as returning guests, this was the first time we left saying, "That was the best service we've had at Prime." Dougie made the night smooth, fun, and memorable without ever being pushy or rushing us. If you're dining at Prime, request Dougie. It was our first time meeting him, but definitely not our last -- he made a familiar place feel brand new. read more

Very nice place and decor, but not some place i would ever go to again. The food was good but very overpriced. The service was great but cold and technical not a friendly welcome or feel. No smiles from beginning to end, including reception, waiter and support staff. What's more we were at a table that had an extension for larger groups. The extension created a step in the table and I spilt my martini when I placed it unknowingly on this tilt. I told the waiter and he said the table was broken last week! No apologies or anything! He just walked away! Do better for customers! Especially when you are overcharging them, offer an apology or a new drink. If a table is broken don't seat guests there.
