We had a business meeting over dinner at Don's Prime and I was overall impressed with the whole experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The service was truly top-notch. Looking over the menu, I went with the sole. It was prepared tableside. We started with the seafood tower. Very good. For our sides, we had the lobster mac and cheese (a must try), creamed spinach, scalloped potatoes, and chopped salad (another must try). My sole was absolutely fantastic. For dessert, I went with the baked Alaska. A great old-school.dessert prepared tableside. This is a great restaurant to check out and I would definitely recommend Don's Prime. I will give it five stars.

Don's is an old school steakhouse located in Fontainebleau. It has a pretty nice ambiance and the service was friendly and very professional. The food was good and the prices were what you'd expect of a Vegas strip resort. Overall I thought it was just ok. There are many other steakhouses in Vegas so it takes a lot to one to stand out to. It was still a good experience and I'd recommend trying it. Dinner at Don's Prime was the perfect meal on the Strip for old school vibes. We had a party of 16 but divided our group into two separate reservations. (Had inquired about a group reservation but that was not a good price point for us). These were the dishes we had at one of the tables of 8. The servers were very attentive and helpful. and so nice. We aren't big drinkers so they probably aren't use to a group like ours but we like to eat. There is also a time limit we were told and we tried to adhere to it but we were enjoying our meal so much. Our server recommended some family style options that were perfect. Between the tomahawk and porterhouse, I enjoyed the flavor of the porterhouse the most. Both were prepared very well and carved at our tables. Our sides were all wonderful. The presentation of the lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. And we did a baked Alaska for both tables just to have something sweet and the presentation of that was fun. Don's Prime is perfect for a night out with a group with wonderful steak and sides for a true Vegas experience! Price was about $175/person since we didn't have alcohol.

This Rizzi 2024 steakhouse of the year on the strip is located in the Fontaine Blue fancy Michelin rated hotel. The restaurant itself is a bit darker than my liking, but I guess that set the ambience. Service is impeccable. We ordered a Caesar salad, beets salad, a beef crown, and a dry aged ribeye steak. Our sides included broccolini, mashed potatoes, and they served us with this free bread, which was amazing. I have nothing bad to say about this experience. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and everything came out to be about $420 including tip. We did not order drinks.

I was surprised how amazing the food was here. The steak was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were also a fave of mine. Service was great and the server was able to make some great recommendations for us. Had a great night and delicious meal here.

Beautiful classic-but-modernized-and-elevated steakhouse in the Fontaineblue! Went to a reception and dinner here, was absolutely over the top great. From starters like the crab cake and jumbo shrimp, followed by a nice wedge to a perfectly cooked steak (I had the strip), everything was top notch and seasoned or combined with something to raise it up, everything was delicious. For sides the creamed corn, cream spinach, and the elaborately prepared / plated lobster mac and cheese, the food is all luxurious and delicious. Get a couple different magnums flowing so you can have an old-world vs new-world conversation, it will be a good party!

Dons prime is hands down one of my top 5 steakhouses in Vegas, the service here from the hosts, to the servers to the managers are absolutely amazing. I came here on October 14th,2025 with two of my friends, we had reservations for 8pm and it was super busy we had a little bit of a wait but it wasn't a big deal gave us some time to catch up and chat. We got seated and were immediately greeted by our server he walked us through the menu and asked us what we wanted to drink, we were interested in some wine and they sent over the som, He talked through what we would like based of what we told him, I got a nice Riesling by the glass and my friends ordered a bottle of white wine. Once we got Our beverages we ordered a dozen oysters as well as a Caesar salad and bread as well as a beef carpaccio. Everything was outstanding with the perfect flavor, For entrees we ordered a steak and scallops as well as sides, we were so full we wanted desert but we just couldn't fit any we did look over the menu and it looked very good, we decided next time we come we will try it. We had a wonderful time and received the best service we can't wait to come back.

I made this reservation roughly two months in advance for what was easily my most anticipated dinner of the trip -- and Don's Prime didn't just meet expectations, it crushed them. Our party arrived right on time for our 8:30 p.m. Saturday reservation and were immediately greeted and escorted to a table in the center dining room. The space was well lit with modern décor and an unmistakable upscale vibe. We were promptly welcomed by our server, drinks were ordered, bread was dropped, and we were given time to take in the menu. The bread service alone set the tone -- a slightly sweet, pull-apart monkey bread style that was outstanding. Shortly after, our table captain arrived with the server to walk us through the menu. The sommelier introduced himself without prompting and guided us through the wine list. After some discussion, he recommended several Cabs and Pinots by the glass -- including what we would choose, Crossroads and Walter Scott -- both excellent selections. For appetizers, we ordered the carpaccio, wedge salad, and crab cake. The salad was solid and the other two were 10/10. The carpaccio had a vibrant, herb-forward freshness that made it pop. And for the first time in about 25 years of food reviews and travel, I can finally say this: the crab cake came in an extremely close second only to Chef Vola's in Atlantic City, NJ -- and one person at the table thought it was even better. For entrées, we had the surf & turf (filet and lobster tail) and the salmon with a side of mashed potatoes. The filet was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. The salmon was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were so good we joked they could've been dessert. I will absolutely return for the crab cake and mashed potatoes -- count on it. For dessert, we tried the whipped cream mousse. Unfortunately, Don's Prime has paused the tableside presentation due to space limitations, but even without the show, it delivered. Plates were left spotless. We had after-dinner plans elsewhere, so that concluded the evening. Service was 11/10. Food was 10/10. While our selections may seem "safe" or classic, I can promise you this meal was anything but ordinary -- it was next level. We will absolutely be back.

Ok We tried 8 restaurants during our 6 day stay at the Fontainebleau, which is a 2 year old, 70 story resort and casino that is nothing short of "Fabulous "! Don's Prime is their signature Steakhouse and it certainly didn't let us down. The waitstaff was well groomed and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. It's pricey, but hey, you're in the lap of luxury and fine dining. I was tempted to try the Caviar service... wished I did... but next time I did indulge in Moet by the glass. Nice change for me. I ordered the beef carpaccio... superb! I always get it when it's on the menu, theirs was a "10". ! My wife ordered the salad wedge,I had a taste... again superb. We saw a presentation of their Lobster Mac and Cheese.... Wow!! We ordered the 1.5 lobster, shucked and hollowed out then stuffed with Mac and Cheese and more lobster on top... Fabulous presentation and taste... a real treat for $98. Yup it was worth it. We split a 14 oz aged sirloin, tell tale Sous vide... Perfect!! Split some au gratin potatoes and garlic mashed potatoes... both killers. Awesome!! If you're in Vegas... hit this place!!! Bon appetite!!

We started the night off with the bread and pretzels which I thought were just ok. I was worried for our entrees, but boy was I wrong. The steak was cooked to perfection with an amazing crust -- each bite had a perfect flavor with an amazing texture. The creamed potatoes were also super creamy and delicious. Finally, we ended the night with a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary -- super unexpected and kind from our server!

We kicked off our Tomahawk fest with Don's. It was a great start! Service - impeccable, food - delicious - every bite. The feasting: Bread service (reminds me of monkey bread). Tomahawk: 42 oz, ($245), Bone marrow ($28), Mushrooms ($20), Creamed spinach ($21), and last but certainly not least Macaroni gratin ($20). Meat: Perfectly cooked, and carved tableside (wow! and of note of all the places we went the only place that carved table side). You don't need anythign else with this excpet the flavor of the meat with a little salt and pepper. Sides: The mushrooms were very well cooked, and had a fantastic dare I say heartyniess that had me wanting to eat the entire dish (but I did share). The creamed spinach (good spinach ratio, not overly sauced) and Macaroni gratin (a nice spin, good bechemel, also not overly saucced) were really good. We washed everything down with a couple of different types of wine suggested by our somm (sorry I don't remember what we had!). We all thought this was a great start to Tomahawk feasting in this town! While we did not get dessert per se, we did go to the bar after dinner and got martini's (what is steak without the perfect steakhouse martini?) . I got "Stand Alone". Blue cheese and clove infused Fords gin, with a hint of pear and lemon and just a touch of honey. It was a great take on a martini if not "classic" (one person in our party got that and it was quite good!). Thoroughly enjoyed Don's and while we have not gone back for more meat feasting, we have gotten drinks at the bar again - Highly recommend.

Don's is one of the best restaurants on the Strip. We enjoyed a small seafood platter (fabulous Shrimp), Caesar salad, halibut, mushroom risotto and a cheesecake. Great service. Great art deco esque interior. Great experience.
