I watch them peruse all the options, finally picking a blend (organic, fair trade Sumatra maybe, or French Costa Rican). I listen as they and the helpful coffee guy discuss the type of coffee machine they have, and watch him grind the beans into a bag specifically for them. And then I allowed them to kiss my ring for showing them where they SHOULD be buying coffee. For the past decade or so, we've also been gifting a bag of coffee to a lot of our loved ones, because it's a useful gift that everyone can appreciate.
