So this is a gem that everyone should stop in to enjoy some amazing coffee. We recently visited NY and I'm a super duper coffee lover. Prime Grind was definitely on my coffee list. The bright colors give this place character a unique scenery compared to the neighborhood. What can I say about a place that has all the great pros and no cons? The bakery is healthy/vegan options. Our boys enjoyed the vanilla donuts, and the banana bread with Nutella (freaking amazing) my wife had the matcha tea, and I had a coffee that the owner created for me (OMG) it was so good I had another to go. While we sat there the neighborhood traffic that came in and out of this establishment tells me this place has it. I grew up in Brooklyn but to see a coffee shop that isn't a name-brand coffee shop winning makes me smile. We saw people enjoying a great ambiance and working but happy. Brooklyn is usually mad, but now they have a cure (Prime Grind)! Support this coffee shop because they have what it takes to keep the neighborhood right. Also, they are serving healthy options instead of regular sugar products. Kudos to Prime Grind coffee shop and appreciate the love put into this establishment.

Stopped by after my appointment. I got a cold brew with almond milk. The shop was full with customers and clean. The gentleman behind the counter seemed a little upset but he was quick with my order which was great.

Cute coffee shop. Stopped in since I have an appointment in the area. Very clean and spacious. Nice variety of coffee, teas and pastries. They had an amazing Neo Soul Playlist playing while I was there!

Cute coffee shop with a chill vibe. Felt calm as soon as I walked in. The person working the counter was friendly and answered our questions. I got the London fog with a shot of espresso 10/10. Wish I lived closer because I would totally return. You can tell they know what they are doing!

Best banana bread I've ever had in my life. I don't know what they did to make it so soft and moist but I want to marry it.

Such a cute little coffee shop. But most importantly, the coffee is soooo delicious. I'd definitely come back here to study and chill!

This time, we took the F train to Carroll St, walked by a quiet residential area and some busier streets. We ordered and paid by the entrance, given a number and looked for seats. Tables for 4, and along the long counter in the front area; small counter for 3, and 2 round tables in the back, where the restroom also is. Got a reg scoop of Coffee bean- small scoop, with specks of coffee; and a Warm brownie sundae - small for the price of almost $17- 1 regular scoop of ice cream, flanked by brownie (was good, soft and warm), covered with fudge. Asked for whipped cream and cherry on the side. Missing the shaved chocolate. Atmosphere is not lively for a soda fountain but I loved the decor/old pharmacy items. Employees were just working, with straight-faces/no smiles.

We ordered the egg cream (as it was award winning according to their wall), the black and white milk shake and coffee. The black and white milk shake was definitely the best of what we ordered. It was fresh and had a homemade taste. The chocolate had a richness to it. I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu like the sundae. The place itself has a rather old timey vibe to it, which makes it quaint. The service was fast and friendly. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking out Brooklyn Farmacy.

Founding chef is a James Beard awardee. Wonderful literary references aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The assortment of unlimited salatim, Hebrew for salad, was enjoyable and easily filed me without the guilt of overeating. And the view of the Manhattan skyline from the restaurant is just splendid. And one caveat, this Israeli meal is my small reminder that we should never judge or be judged by the actions of governments or political leaders. Humanity is always bigger than politics. Hatred becomes dangerous when we stop seeing people as individuals and start judging entire groups. History has shown us where that can lead. This is a reminder to myself and to anyone seeking peace and love (Channeling George Harrison and John Lennon, still have a bit of beatlemania from my Liverpool trip ). Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Young lovely girls at the cashier were super friendly and accommodating. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).

Both flavors were distinct. I loved the mango one as it actually tasted like Indian mangoes and the pistacho one actually tasted like kulfi. The consistency is imo so much better than gelato. It's creamy and melts in your mouth. The ambiance is cosy, lots of people just hanging out like at a 3rd space. The attention to decor is really good, the walls and ceilings also have this classy look and feel. The service was great. They let me try 2 flavors, and my husband 1.
