We went with Signature to replace to standard windows, and swap a large picture window out for a…read morenew bay window. We had issues with the bay window that started a few months after it was installed. Signature was very responsive, and replaced the window free of charge. Unfortunately, the issue ended up being with the construction of the window itself, so the 2nd window also had issue. Replacement #3 was also free of charge, but we didn't figure out the cause of the issue until after window #3 was compromised as well. Signature replaced the window again, #4, but this time with a different brand of window, upgraded from the original - again, at no cost to us. So while our journey isn't typically "great", it's refreshing to work with a company that stands behind their work and products they sell. They were responsive every step of the way. I generally judge a company by how they react to problems, not just by the fact there were problems. And Signature earned my 5 stars. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I got bids, and was the most impressed with Danny L at Signature Windows. We had a tight deadline because the home was going on the market and access to the window, especially in the rain, was really challenging. Meeting the deadline, and the safety of the installers, were non-negotiable. Danny came out the very next day to measure the Window From Hell and, not only did he give me the best price, but his company was the only one that had all the scaffolding equipment readily available at no extra charge. The window arrived sooner than expected, and installation was quickly scheduled to meet the deadline. Then we hit a snag: some epic rain made the cedar roof too slippery for safe conditions. Brent and his crew of expert (and very brave) installers rigged up a safe way to haul this brand-new Mother of ALL Windows up to the second floor and install it using very long ladders, secure scaffolding, and harnesses. I think we had 4 or 5 installers for this job. It took all day to get the old Window From Hell out and the new Mother of All Windows installed. But what a job! Perfect caulk lines, perfect cleaning of the glass, perfect clean-up of the job site, indoors and out. Job done ON TIME, SAFELY, and at an excellent price. If Signature can handle my Window From Hell, I am very confident they can install ordinary double-hung windows that exceed your expectations for quality, price, timeliness, and workmanship. After texting to share some photos they said they'd need a window technician to check it out. They showed up exactly when scheduled and texted to let me know when they were nearly here. It turned out to be an easy fix so they took care of it on the spot, free of charge. They even insisted on cleaning up the little plastic bits that came off the window during the repair (even though I told them I could take care of it). Fingers crossed that I won't need to repair or replace any other windows soon, but if I do I'd definitely go back to Seattle Glass and Window.

Before deciding on a company to re-do the siding on my house, I checked 3 companies. 2FL's was in…read morethe middle, but one of the things that sold me was the company being local and not using outside contractors. The reviews here are all over the map, though, so that caused some concern. The job started mid May, but wasn't finished until mid June. I have a small house; the supervisor assured me that the whole job would be done in 2 weeks, max - gutters and all. But one of the workers was sick for several days so only one person was working on the house most of the time. Toward the end of the project, the electricity on one side of the house was out when I came home. That wasn't good. Flipping the breakers didn't fix it - the workman did correct the error the next day. I had the gutters replaced by the same company. It turns out those jobs are contracted out. It was almost two weeks after the siding was completed before I was even contacted by this contractor (I had made 3 calls to 2FL reps). In the meantime, it rained. No gutters meant mud splashed on the new siding. Small things weren't finished, like replacing the house numbers (I left them out and we were clear that they needed to go up) or the front porch sill guard. I'll need to do those things myself, I guess. There was a little debris left, but nothing major. Mainly, the folks I dealt with were professional. I did have questions about the bill, but that was resolved quickly. I would recommend this company. Four stars because the work dragged out longer than I had been told to expect.

Marvin might have a reputable product, the team that sells it to you, does the measuring and installs needs help. I agreed to replace my windows in May of 2025. Marvin came out in July for the install, the windows broke. Marvin rescheduled the replacement for September and installed the opening the wrong way. I had asked the sales person to match the window openings to my existing windows, this did not happen. I called relentlessly to get an answer from them....they replied in December (3 months later) and are now in February of 2026 seeing if I might want a fix. Never in my wildest dreams did I think window replacement job could take up to 1 year to do. I wouldn't have agreed to this. For reference we I have maybe10 windows total.
