Their attention to detail was incredible. Two Men and a Hoe was an incredible company to work with. I will recommend them to all my friends for any future projects!

We have a large, rustic property that has very rough terrain, and we are trying to turn it into our home. We needed to create outdoor living space and correct some significant problems with drainage and elevation. Before we started work with Two Men & A Hoe, we had some ideas of what we wanted to achieve, but we thought everything about our property was either too expensive or impossible. As soon as they started work, they quickly made us realize that nothing was really impossible, and there were many solutions within our budget. From that point onward, they took every idea we had and made it better than what we had even hoped. They solved problems and provided creative ideas to generate options beyond what we thought possible. All the while, they were very mindful of our time and our budget. Since our fist job with them, we have had them out several times as our ideas have grown, and we will probably have them out again for future projects. The end result is this: we are simply overjoyed. Before Two Men & A Hoe, our outdoor space was not usable. Their skills and problem solving have created outdoor living spaces that we now enjoy every single day. Their work is simply awesome. There is no better way to describe it.

I hired Juan RL Contractor for a ceiling vault and some exterior work. He and his team showed up on…read moretime with a great attitude and got the job done efficiently. He hung new drywall, taped, mudded, and left it with a clean level 5 finish. He also demoed parts of the exterior, installed new sheathing, and put up a vapor barrier--all done properly. As a working contractor myself, I've dealt with plenty of subs. What stood out most with Juan was his follow-through. He stayed on top of things, communicated well, and saw the job through to the end. That kind of dependability is rare and appreciated.

I would hire Juan as a contractor again in a HEARTBEAT! He was absolutely fantastic in every…read moreelement of the job from pricing to communication to the work he performed! I needed drywall repaired on the ceiling in an upstairs bedroom that was damaged from a roof leaf. After collecting about 7 different quotes, Juan was one of the most affordable options but also left a good impression on me with his quick and clear communication. After texting him on a Monday night that I wanted to work with him, he was able to come out on Wednesday morning to start and had the job done before noon on Thursday! I couldn't be happier with how the project turned out and am beyond happy that I went with Juan! HIGHLIGHTS: * Responded to my initial message quickly and got me a quote the same day * Fair and reasonable pricing * Able to schedule me in right away * Communicated a start time through text and arrived on time * Worked efficiently and quietly so I was able to work from home without interruption * Extremely clean... took off his shoes in the house and swept up before leaving each day * Beautiful work... I'm not a drywall expert but I'd never even know there was a hole there! * Final cost matched the initial quote Honestly, I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about the experience. I'm now looking around my house to find other projects that I can hire Juan to complete because I'm that satisfied with his work and will absolutely recommend him to anyone I know that needs a contractor in the Austin area.

If I had I had a gun to my head and had to chose between hiring these guys again, or be shot, I…read morewould chose to be shot, honestly. Their work is beyond sloppy, and they are predatory. They caused more damage to the yard then was there before hand, and didn't even finish the job. In fact, they wanted MORE money to come in and complete the job. Their job was the come in and scrape, grade, and level the yard. A one day, easy job, as my yard was already mostly level, but just needed some minor touch ups before I had other contractors come in to lay the sod. Not only did they, not complete the job, they didn't show up on time or at all TWICE. Because, they did not finish the original job in one day, they now have to come out a second day & are asking for even more payment on top of the 3k. This has caused me to have to move my other yard contractors out multiple weeks. Below, I have listed what happened to my yard and what to look forward to if you hire these guys. There are now - Rolling hills - A 3ft tall pile of dirt in the front yard - A large divot right next to the foundation, so when it rains the water collects to a six inch deep, twenty foot long, standing puddle that is now seeping into the foundation - Left his equipment sitting in front of my yard for 1 week, charged me for 1 week of use, and only used it for 6 hours. It is currently still sitting in front of my yard, even though he has "completed" the job. - AND, they tore up my Spectrum internet cable and refused to fix it. I had to have the company come out to fix the torn cable. - They left all the grass and dirt out on MY PROPERTY, rather than in a dump because they refused to take it to the dump & charged me a dumping fee anyways. I hired these men to come out and do the job because my daughter asked me to protect my health. If I was younger, I would have done it myself, and at the end of the day, I'm going to have to fix it myself anyways. Beyond paying $3,000 to end up with a yard, worse than what I had, I now need to pay out-of-pocket for the tools, and use my time, to fix THEIR mess. I really did my best to be understanding, at the end of the day it's not about the money. That is why I still paid them, I'm not here to be the guy that waffles on my end of the contract. But the professionalism, the work ethic, and the work itself, was shoddy and incompetent. An utterly disappointing failure, that doesn't even fulfill the scope of the contract.
