Brayan worked hard with us on a design that worked best for patio and sidewalk, even after I had to change shape due to change in the gazebo I planned on adding. He had great ideas on design and was honest and transparent with his estimate. He and his crew were fast, accurate, very careful about cleaning up and limiting damage to the area. Yesterday when another contractor (who used to do concrete work) saw the sidewalk and patio, he remarked how good it looked, said they did a great job. Brayan and his crew were fantastic to work with. If you have concrete needs, feel confident in your choice with him. He's great at communication, quality, and execution of the project. I wanted to add a concrete sidewalk path around my backyard, extend my patio, and put in a pad over a muddy area of my yard which holds my trash cans. I also wanted to make sure proper drainage was provided for rainfall. Firstly, Brayan communicated quickly and well after I requested a quote; I mean minutes and same day kind of communication. I made different planning/design decisions along the way and he always adjusted the quotes to suit my asks and got back to me quickly. There was no pressure at all during this process and he came out to the house to help finalize my decisions. Once decided, I wanted to get the job started as quickly as possible and Brayan was able to fit me in between other projects. The crew he brought in to do my project was also friendly, professional, and got the job done perfectly. They cleaned up nicely afterwards too. We are very impressed with BHM Concrete's work ethic. We had a prompt phone reply which followed with an on-time appointment. The quote was presented in great detail listing line item costs and materials used. The project went smoothly as the crews checked in with us each step of the way. The job included a tear-out of old sidewalks and stone garden borders which required a big bobcat. All the old concrete was removed and the cleanup professional. We needed three concrete "exposed aggregate" slabs of our residential sidewalk to be removed and replaced with 2'x4' wood boards between each slab like the rest of the sidewalk. We took estimates from three contractors. While BHM was not the lowest bid, they were the only contractor to include the 2'x4' boards. The other contractors wanted one continuous slab of concrete. The slabs they replaced formed an arc around the corner of our house. Brayan and his crew did a magnificent job! His team was made up of cousins and brothers so it was like a family operation. He explained everything they were doing and why it was done that way. He also provided a written estimate before we signed him on.
