I needed another job done as well, seeing he does concrete I asked if he can quote me for a concrete slab and he basically said it's not cheap and he is a "quality" contractor and he won't be quoting me but can send out cheap contractor recommendations. We reached out to Enrique after fighting with a previous concrete company which poured a patio that was unusable to us for the intended purpose of holding a hot tub and pergola. Although we ultimately had to remove the prior work at extra cost, this put us in a great position to see how impressive Enrique was with his demeanor and work ethic. He answered all of our exhaustively once-bitten-twice-shy questions patiently and spent as much time as we needed to hash out patio designs and make a decision moving forward. When the work day came around, Enrique himself was on-site the entire time overseeing everything and delivered exactly what we agreed upon. Since he was removing the old patio and pouring a new one he gave us a break on the price of demo / removal which we very much appreciated and the end result is a night and day difference. The patio correctly slopes away from the house then has a near-flat section for the hot tub before sloping again for water flow. The difference is just a few degrees and unnoticeable just looking at it but the drainage is excellent and the hot tub water is near level. Enrique also added an extra layer of rebar underneath where we had the hot tub planned. Now that we've been using the patio for a few months there's been no settling or cracking. October 2024 My…read morehome has a 40 yr old concrete septic tank, so bear this in mind (it's old!). I had a leak on the outlet side wall and a previous contractor tried to patch it, but it never stopped. This had been going on for some time, but steadily got worse. I was thinking I had no choice except to go ahead and bite the bullet now to replace the tank, a big job for sure. Also to note, a prior septic contractor failed about a week earlier to patch the tank, more $$ spent, so I thought hope was lost as far as repair efforts were concerned. I started calling around to get bids on tank replacement and found Rocklyn Septic Services, among a few on Angies List. I met Barron W. and right away found him competent and someone I thought I might be able to trust. Barron came out promptly and on time to inspect the tank (on a Friday). He provided hope that maybe it could be repaired. He noticed the 4" TEE was oddly positioned and cut it off. That allowed about 2" water level drop which may have helped to reduce tank water pressure above the leak. Barron then came out on Monday with some bags of concrete and was able to patch the wall successfully in less than 30 minutes. As a result, I can now wait until next spring to replace the tank if I wish as the leak is gone, grass is dry! Barron even promised if the leak returned, he would apply the cost of the repair to the tank replacement. I'm good to go for now! Barron's attention to detail, his great communication and his committment to customer service is why I will hire him for the big job next year to replace my tank. Thank you sir for your service!
