However, David (or someone there -- doesn't matter) instantly responded to note that I'm outside of their service area (hey, too bad, but useful to know), and -- !!!-- named a couple of other companies for me to contact instead. Maybe it's all bot-driven. I'll take it; not only was the response fast and courteous, it was potentially very helpful, and unexpected. As it turns out, I'd already reached someone else who can help, but I thought I'd point out that David's service is obviously on the ball and helpful even to a non-customer.

That can all be sorted when the emergency is over. Right? Not so much I guess. David apparently likes to threaten *filing police reports* for invoices that are less than 30 days past due. This is absurd to the point that I don't have any other commentary. He should feel ashamed, but never even acknowledged my text when I paid the invoice and told him what had happened. Jeremy and his crew--including his two adult sons--who trimmed my Heritage live oak, last year, were able to come the next day. They removed the tree entirely, taking care so that newly planted apple trees were not harmed; nuisance overgrown crape Myrtle and other brush beside the house was also cleaned out, which was a great help to me. Except for the flush remnants of the base of the hackberry tree, you wouldn't know it was ever there. I was impressed with their quick professional work. He arrived early and reviewed the job with me while his crew arrived. Then his crew of 5 guys knocks it all out in under two hours ... trimming all the dead branches from three fairly tall trees, sealing the cuts, mulching three piles of branches from earlier storm damage and a super clean up job. I hired All Nation Restoration for remediation work in my home. During the project, one of their…read moretechnicians used bleach in a carpeted area without putting down plastic, tarps, or other protective floor covering. This resulted in permanent bleach damage in multiple areas of my high-quality, continuously installed Berber carpet, including highly visible areas in the middle of the room. What disappointed me most was not simply that damage occurred, but how All Nation handled it afterward. The company initially characterized the damage as something that can occur during remediation work despite taking precautions. In my case, there was no floor protection in the affected area. Their project manager came to my home shortly after I discovered the damage and saw the area firsthand. All Nation's own carpet professional subsequently advised in writing that repairs could look good but "possibly not perfect" and that replacement would be the alternative because a matching carpet was unlikely to be available. My independent carpet professional reached the same conclusion and recommended replacement. In an effort to compromise, I obtained a $2,400 estimate to replace only the affected common areas rather than the continuous carpet installation throughout my entire second floor. All Nation had offered a $1,000 credit, so I asked them to contribute an additional $1,400 toward this solution. They declined, characterizing replacement as my "preference." Yes, I do prefer my home to be returned to me in the condition in which they found it. I ultimately attempted the less expensive repair option using my own carpet professional. Unfortunately, the result confirmed what both carpet professionals had predicted: the repaired area remains visibly distinguishable from the surrounding Berber carpet. I am now left with a permanent, noticeable flaw in a high-traffic area of what had previously been a uniform, continuous carpet installation. My concern was never that I wanted a discount or that I was trying not to pay them (I have since made final payment). My concern was that the damage occurred during work performed without floor protection and that All Nation treated offering a credit and the ability to patch the carpet as sufficient, regardless of whether the repair actually restored it to its prior condition. I believe a restoration company should take reasonable precautions to protect a customer's property and, when preventable damage occurs, work toward a solution that reasonably restores the property to its prior condition. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and it is the reason for my rating.
