Primark is great. So much selection and unbeatable prices. Even with the conversion rate, some items came out to cheaper for me than buying them back home. Got so much stuff here, I wish my luggage had more space in it! Lots of change rooms, endless selection for men, women, and children, a home section, and so much more. I am a bit sad they got rid of the Harry Potter section for the swimwear line but oh well. Time at the cash registers will be a bit long though because everyone is constantly buying stuff. Not matter the till, they have one on every floor and they are all busy.

Great finds for young men! Hoodies, pants and, harder to find in NA, Naruto, Pokemon, Primak items at reasonable prices! Lineups are long but move swiftly.

Primark on Oxford Street in SOHO, London. And some hot tea after an hour in that Austin Powers madhouse lol! Ta!

"London, thou art the flower of cities all! Gemme of all joy, jasper of jocunditie." - William Dunbar If the airlines loses your luggage, or if you're hitchhiking across the UK with only knickers on... make Primark your next stop! Primark is a great spot for fast fashion at reasonable prices. Be cool as Arya Stark or as dapper as Shakespeare. Hmm, maybe Sir William with fitted jeans? Primark is a retail company founded in Ireland in 1969. Today, locations can be found everywhere throughout the UK, Europe, and even a couple stores in America. I guess the American equivalent would be a cross between Old Navy and Urban Outfitters. Not the highest quality, but it's fun, fashionable, and basic. And easy on the pocket! The Primark I visited is on Oxford Street in SOHO. Just a stones throw away from my Austin Powers bachelor pad. And yes, I was an unfortunate victim to lost luggage, so I indeed needed to replace some of my wardrobe. I mean not everything can be Haute Couture, right? I entered Primark to a busy vibe and groovy everywhere. It's definitely a lively place, but tbh geared more towards the younger crowd. I'm not saying us old farts would not be welcomed, instead I mean if you enter, try to be a tad hip, alright? Not much grumpy gramps walking around. Just saying lol! I also couldn't believe how big this place is... at least three floors, maybe even four floors? I heard there's also a coffee spot on the top floor? I was too busy picking up briefs, socks, and trendy Westminster tee-shirts, so no chance finding the café. Next time! In the end, I recommend Primark for those looking to save a few coins. You won't find designer labels in here, but fun shop for the basics. I also noticed knickknacks and even home decor. I could only handle an hour lol, but the more seasoned shoppers could easily stay quite a tad longer. I even got knee-high Game of Thrones socks! Ta!

Can't go wrong with Primark in Europe, especially London. I was super overwhelmed in this store . so many things . Some areas had huge pileups but that's expected since the store was packed, but I always saw associates organizing. Picked up some winter clothes and accessories , if I had more space in my suitcase I would have bought more. The que for the register is extremely long , on every floor so make sure to get what you're getting and get in line .

For our entire time in London, my friend and I have been wondering where the thick chicks shop. On our last day, we finally found it. Primark is an experience that simply can't be put into words... but I'll try. If you take H&M, add beauty services and a coffee shop, add a dash of Old Navy, and a sprinkle of Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx, you would have this place. There are clothes, shoes, hosiery, housewares, luggage, lots of London swag (much better than you'll find on the street) accessories, mens clothes, kids clothes, makeup and beauty tools, and even hair, makeup, eyebrow and manicure services. They also have apparel lines from Disney, Coca Cola, Game of Thrones, as well as Harry Potter. There's a sitting area (in the denim section), an area where shoppers can charge their phones, free WiFi, and they even have a coffee shop with sandwiches, salads, toasties (grilled cheese sandwiches), wraps, tea and coffee drinks, juice, soda, crisps (chips) and a broad assortment of baked goods. I had the cheese toasty with tuna, salt and vinegar chips, and a raspberry and black currant juice for lunch. Everything was delicious, and it cost less than £8. Yum! The prices are fantastic and the clothes are really cute. Lots of prints, patterns, styles, textures and colors. The sizes range from XXS to XXL, and they even have UK, US, and European sizes converted on both the tags and hangers. The fitting room process is a very structured process, so have your garments ready. The staff count your items, log the number into what looks like a timecard machine, and do a recount and checkout process once you're done. Can't say that they're not thorough. The jeans here fit like they were made by God Herself (and they had plenty in stock! I bought them in every color.) and I'm pretty sure the leggings were custom crafted specifically for my curves by Jesus (Had to get them in every color, as well). I found a ton of cute clothes for work, as well as fabulous fashions to wear outside of the office. This was a fantastic way to end my London holiday, and I've got a ton of fashionable and functional souvenirs to bring home!

I have always wanted to go to Primark, especially in the UK and it was an experience for sure. Everything is super affordable and they have tons of departments. It was, however, a bit overwhelming because there is so much and it was super busy...but that's a personal problem lol. I will definitely be checking out the ones in the US.

This place is definitely the most overwhelming place I have shopped at. First it took us forever to get there because it was at one end of Oxford street. The distance from the train stop to this store walking was an easy 45mins. I'd recommend you wear very comfortable shoes and not have too many shopping bags prior to shopping. The shop had many levels. It is bigger that most malls but it is one store with different departments. I only shopped at the nightwear and bra section .. also picked up some socks shoes for hubby and I was exhausted. The checkout section was on another floor but I could wait to get out of there. Everything I bought from there was great quality and I'll definitely go back but not after a long day. Lol It is certainly a play to visit whenever you are in the area.

What is Primark? Imagine Forever 21 and make the clothes with 10x more quality and 1/2 the price. This Primark is massive. Clear your schedule because you can spend a long time in this store. I would say the most awesome thing about this store is the Harry Potter shop that is within it. Primark has some of the most awesome and unique Harry Potter clothes that are at prices you can't beat (even factoring in the exchange rate). They have everything from tank tops, sweat shirts, pajamas, wizarding robes, bath robes, blankets, duvet covers, socks, underwear, coffee mugs, key chains, and more for prices you won't find anywhere else. If you're in London and want to get great Harry Potter gear at cheaper prices than you will find at the Platform 9 3/4 store or the WB Studio tour store this is the place to go! Aside from the Harry Potter merchandise they also have really cute London, Disney, and Paddington souvenirs and very cheap prices. Once you get through the souvenirs the clothing is great! It is very hip and fashionable and the quality is there. It also does not run small and has convenient sizes for multiple countries on the hangers. The store can be very overwhelming. The basement floor is dedicated to men and the home, the first floor has Harry Potter and women's clothing, the second floor has shoes and more women's clothing, the third floor has children and I believe a coffee shop. They have a wide variety of shoes as well. I was able to purchase three pairs of ballet flats for under 15 pounds total. If you want jeans it is also the place to go, there were so many options. All the employees were great and helpful. The fitting room has an 8 item limit but they will hold onto your clothes so you can exchange them to try on the rest. I would recommend to spend at least 2-3 hours to fully appreciate the entire store.

The shop is quite cutting edge in what they offer, the emphasis on shape and cut and are amongst the freshest themes out there, there is always an interesting cut to look out for at Dahlia's. Attention to detail is essential, buttons, pockets, stitching and lining. For instance, I fell in love with one of their new season sailor coats, with red buttons and navy backdrop, the lining in silk and printed red stars. Unfortunately, the shape was a bit to frumpy for my height but I can see it being worn by a specific kind of woman amazingly! I encountered the same problem with other outfits, it was such a shame. Their clothes won't fit everyone, but you never know; one of their vintage type, fun cut dresses might fit you perfectly.

Supposedly the designer is British and began selling her pieces on Portobello Road ten years ago. The shop is brightly lit, small and very quaint. I found the Dahlia collection to be rather vintage-inspired, with precise tailoring feminine details. The quality of the pieces are very good and I feel like the price point is fair. There also is a section of vintage pieces in the shop, all in wonderful condition. I found the service to be great as well, my salesgirl was quite attentive and gave me her advice when I was conflicted between two vintage 1950s dresses I had selected. She asked for my contact information so she could ring me when they got in a trench I was eyeing earlier that had sold out straight away. Also, she said she would let me know when the shop got in their next vintage shipment. Overall, wonderful and very genuine customer service. I look forward to what the Dahlia shop has in store for F/W 2010 and I will be back in the shop very soon.

Consistency in…read morefair prices, consistency in seasonal clothing and my favorite consistency, the ability to con the sales clerks into giving you a good deal when there's one to be had. I found just such a deal at this very store. I was on a mission to stuff my America-destined suitcase with coats galore on my recent trip to London and while we have H&M's here in the States, it's always been my experience that they are a bit better overseas, so I figured I'd go in. As I strolled through the aisles, combed the racks and fondled, tugged and pulled at fabrics, I found an adorable little gold knitted sweater for... 3 pounds. Yes! But a jacket, Stephy, you must find a jacket. Keep your focus, girl! I decided since the first floor was looking pretty picked over and grim that I'd hike the two flights upstairs and see what there was. And there, oh there it was, my new coat. I only saw two of them. One, definitely smaller than the other and from about 20 feet away, I guessed maybe a size 4 and a 12 or 14 for the bigger one aka my new coat. I b-lined it for the coat, only knocking a few tiny hipsters out of the way and clenched it with my mitten covered hands! (Somehow that doesn't sound very menacing with the word mitten in it, huh? Oh well, moving on...) Sure enough, the small was indeed a size 4, off with you silly little person coat! And then there it was my 14 (hey, I eat, I have curves, la la la). I immediately dropped my purse and shed the 17 layers of clothing I was wearing to prevent me from freezing to death in the chilly London air and the coat was on. I did the chick side turn that gives you a peep at your bum to make sure it looks flattering. I did the classic reverse glance neck tilt to make sure my ass didn't look as big as it really is and then I went to button it and... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Missing buttons!! Crap sandwich! But wait? There was that little person coat that I tossed aside with reckless abandon.... Hmm, perhaps that coat had buttons? Sure enough! IT HAD BUTTONS!! And so it was time to plan my discount. My trained shopper mind knew full well that they weren't going to be able to sell this coat as is, which means, discountville!! Hey, it's defective and missing most of the front buttons, surely you can't charge me full price. What say we take the buttons off of the smaller coat and give them to me and then sell me the big coat at a discount defect price seeing as how I will have to sew the buttons on myself? And so I scanned the cashiers and looked for the youngest, most clueless looking one. There she was, blinking like Bambi! I approached her with confidence and gave her my spiel and after she thought it over and asked her manager, what do you know, success, new jacket and 20 new buttons were mine! Thanks H&M, I will wear my score with pride!
