Primark: for the budget-conscious, daring fashionista. There are some things that Primark has to offer that you just can't beat, like some essentials: * underwear (£1) * nylons (£1-£2) * robes (£5) * camis (£1 - £2) * leggings (£2 - £5) * skinny jeans (£8 - £10) * accessories/jewelry 'Essential' items like that would retail and triple or quadruple the cost elsewhere - so you just can't beat those prices! The Primark on King Street is my favourite location. It's less crowded than the one on Oxford Street and usually has most of the same great items. At this location particularly, I have been lucky with summer items such as ladies' summer sandals, beach cover-ups and such. The shoes are usually relatively orderly here, making it not too traumatic a shopping experience. The most I've ever had to queue here is maybe 4 - 5 minutes or so. read more

Primark is the epitome of pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap: the racks are absolutely bursting with stock, often making it hard to find the size you want, and this store seems particularly bad at putting the right size on the correctly labelled hanger. The clothes are amazingly cheap, generally well designed, and not bad quality, although in menswear at least, polyester generally triumphs over wool and cotton, so to that extent you get what you pay for. Bear in mind there is some controversy about the conditions their suppliers' staff have to work in (along with some other well known High Street retailers), so do your research and come to a view yourself if this is important to you. read more

The problem with places like this can be that you are sacrificing quality for price. However, I have a bikini I bought there over two years ago that was still in rotation this past summer! So there. If you want cheap clothes and want to avoid the manic crowds of Marble Arch Primani then this is your best bet. Not far by tube and much more bearable, even at the weekend. The clothes are not always the highest quality, so don't expect them to last as long as more expensive clothes but they are decent quality and you won't find cheaper. The men's range in particular has massively improved in recent years and you can easily buy a whole new wardrobe here. read more

Primark is very hit and miss. Like most high street shops, you're bound to find a 'good' and 'bad' version of the same store in your town. Primark Hammersmith is a GOOD Primark. Go early on a Sunday for prime tidiness and optimum shopping experience. read more

I'm a huge Primark fan, especially for basic pieces that'll be worn a lot, you can't beat the prices. This Primark is the branch I visit the most, it's very big but not as insane as the Oxford Street one. The variety is always huge and you can find fantastic bargains in the clearance sections. There are two reasons for not giving full points, firstly the queue at the registers tend to be quite long with not enough staff manning the registers. But this really depends on the time of day, the upstairs registers tend to be less busy too. Secondly, always check sizes on the labels inside the clothes! This shop is notoriously bad at mislabeling sizes. Don't trust the size on the hangers either, check the clothing label to be sure. read more

Like Tisha said, this Primark doesn't have as wide of a selection as the one on Oxford street, but this one is a lot easier to navigate as it is usually less crowded. Plan on being here for a while because to find something really good, you typically have to sift through the racks. Also, getting into a dressing room is going to be a long wait too, so if you can wear something that will allow you to try on clothes over it, that's a plus. I wouldn't buy everything as you are getting more cheaply made clothes, but for trendy items that you're going to have sit in your closet after one season, or basics like tees, this is the place. read more

MUCH better! I must say, this Primark is less crowded, much more organized, less of a wait at any check-out or fitting room cue and it carries all of the same products as the other Primarks! It's almost embarrassing the extent to which my wardrobe is entirely supplied by Primark. If you need basics of anything - t shirts, trousers, work clothes, sports clothes, sleeping clothes, hoisery, accesories, shoes, bedware &c and you are light of purse, you simply have no other option than to waltz down to your nearest Primark and prepare to rummage for your life. The Hammersmith branch is probably my favourite, and not just because it's nearest. The Oxford Street shop now draws many Primark enthusiasts due its colossal size and range. This has left the Hammersmith shop much less manic and you can almost have a comfortable shopping experience here. Almost. You will have to scavenge about to find your size, especially if you are small (6-8 or 8-10). Organisation is not the key word here. It is cosmically cheap, so cheap I nearly took a star off as my conscience nags at me, knowing that somewhere there are probably blind children fashioning these precious cloths for 3p a day. read more

What a place! this is the most manic and jumblesale like branch of Primark I have ever been to and thats saying something!! I have even been there on a Tuesday morning at about 11 and it was still rammed full with people throwing clothes about andd grabbing stuff like it would walk off of its own accord if they didnt forcibly keep it in their baskets, clutched to thier chests while simulatniously glaring at everyone else and shoulder barging them out the way to make sure nothing else scuttled away before thier eyes. Primark on Oxford Street is the biggest and one of the best. The stock that comes into there, you will either see before the smaller Primarks or you will never see it. When you see something just buy as you may not find it again. There is a whole floor of clothes and the lingerie section is massive. The top floor has sooooo many shoes for ladies, handbags, jewellery. There is a kids clothes section on the same floor as well as home decor like cushions etc. The only down fall is that there are so many people there all the time so shopping can get hard and you will never get a chance to go in the fitting room as queue's are ridiculous so you may have to try on the shop floor as people do tend do that. Overall a very nice look of the store, greatly staffed and very clean even though a lot of people shop there, the staff is working hard to keep it looking good. Also you always get served very quickly at till points no matter how long the queue may be. read more

This is a new Primark, so its light, glass, mirrors, speaking queue systems, and clothes all over the floor, rather than mdf, darkness, pub carpets, and clothes all over the floor. This new addition to the Broadway centre is good if you live in Ealing and you want to buy an item of clothing which will cost less than you would have previously paid to get to a Primark store on the train. Its bad if you are concerned about the cheapening of Ealing, with its mushrooming pound shops and empty stores in the Broadway. We'll leave that debate for another day, and focus on what it the most important debate concerning Primark. ok it`s a primark so nothing new to add here as most people have been to one that might go, but it`s pretty big for the shops in that area. Always busy to best go outside of peak shopping times. Cheap and cheerful things so do not expect things to last years after year. This store is based on 3 levels and is quite well spaced out, one big problem is the size of the queues expect to wait in line for some time. If you want to bring something back another big line. So try before you buy and look at the items well. read more

Great store, eveything is set out very neatly and its not a complete jumble sale like some of the stores i have shopped in, in the past. It has some great items but there is a lot of tat in there so you have to really dig for the good stuff! Very good prices - credit crunch beating prices infact. I lived in London for many years and this was my local branch of Primark. Situated in the old Co-op department store in the Kings Mall in Hammersmith, it was originally opened on just one level, housing the womenswear, childrens and babywear, menswear, home items and accessories. About 3 years ago however a decision was made to extend the store and the upstairs was re-opened. With this extension I believe this store became the best Primark in London - with the increase in floor space each department is now larger and of course there are also more tills at which to pay. I have used the Primark store on Oxford Street and been very disappointed in it but there have never been such problems at this branch. I also find the queues to pay go down far quicker here - the tills are invariably all manned and that minimises waiting times for customers enormously. If you want to visit a Primark in London I highly recommend this branch and you will also avoid the awful crowds to be found on Oxford Street. read more

In general this chain of shop seems like an injection of hell. However the Hammersmith branch isnt the worst one (Oxford St branch is unimaginably awful). It all depends on when you go. If you can visit it on a weekday during the day it isnt a complete mess and you wont have to wait to pay for longer than 10 minutes. If you foolishly decide you want to go on saturday then expect the worst, iv been waiting to pay in this place for 30 minutes before and i ended up just leaving! Don't expect anything from the staff, but then your paying rock bottom for the clothes so you shouldnt expect much anyway. All in all though try going to H&M or Uni Qlo, they are almost as cheap and are much better places! read more

Located in the heart of Hammermith on the King street it is easily accessible in the shoppoing mall, a mintue from the station with various buses to drop you right outside the shop. It also has a car park for the shopping mall. It is great for a bargain or when you dont wish to spend much or when you are on a tight budget, with regular and constant sales it is a great place to be at. Be sure you can go home with a bag or more full of clothes etc. read more

I'm not really a big fan of Primark but I won't lie and say I've never been in or shopped in it. If you're on a tight budget and aren't looking to spend a lot, i suggest this would be right for you. Only thing, is the clothes aren't that good quality and wear out quite quickly. They tend to copy quite a lot of shops and their current trends which annoys me personally but if you're looking for a cheaper version of an expensive item you like, i guarantee they'll have it. This particular Primark store isn't that big compared to the one in Oxford St. but you'll find their stores in a lot of places if they don't have what you're looking for here. This isn't one of the bigger Primark stores. Everything is on the same floor. Like all Primark stores it's cheap and cheerful fashion for the masses. The reduced stock/bargain rails and buckets are at the front of the store. From time to time you do get some good stuff among the tat in the bargain buckets (decent slippers for £1, a pack of 2 blossom scented candles for 50p). As expected there will be long queues. read more

I'm an avid Primark fan and always have been so was relieved to see they was one in Hammersmith when I moved here! Primarks don't really differ much from each other, they have everything you need in one place. I have found with this particular store that the cursive services desk is always ridiculously busy and you have to wait about 20 minutes to be seen. I have always had mixed feelings about Prime Mark.Here are 3 words that come to my mind...cheap,tacky but cheerful.I have been to quite a few around the country as it has absolutely all the essentials you need.If you want a plain strappy top you can have one in every colour possible.It is such a useful store but can be so jammed full of scraming kids and teenagers that it is alittle of putting. This shop sell clothes,underwear,shoes(for men,women and children) and a few household items very cheaply. This particular store is very large and very messy if you dont go in there as soon as it opens its like a jumble sale clothes everywhere. You can pick tops up for as little as £1 and shoes from around £3. They do have a few sales on but when this happens things go very quickly. read more

I DID have a coat with a hole in the pocket & missing buttons but they exchanged it quickly & easily.. the only problem is that they may be out of your size if you don't exchange your item quickly. This store is so popular you can literally find it by following the hoard of people carrying brown paper bags labeled primark on oxford street. The reason everyone's such a fan of primark is the variety of nice clothes for such great prices. So it's very likely you'll find something for you. Especially if you're a tourist on a budget. This shop is a nightmare!! As with all Primark shops it is packed out with people all of the time and there are clothes all over the floor as well as all over the racks which are disorganised and a nighmare to sift through. All of the nice clothes are gone within an our of opening the shop in the morning, at least they are gone in the right size. It is always the size that you want that is not there or it has been trampled on the floor by millions of shoppers. All together not a good experience. But hey, the clothes are really cheap if you can find them! read more

Primark is a good value for money, cheap affordable store if you are on a budget. It stocks copied designer clothes, great kids department, swimwear, stuff for the home, shoes & much more. Clothes are absoloutely everywhere, and beware about going on a saturday as everyone seems to have this idea, so it is ful to the brim, with the queues being so long its hard to find the end! Small local Primark store, just a short walk from Leytonstone tube station. It basically has a little bit of most things inside the store, but not much of a selection. Constantly looks like a jumble sale inside. Really tiny in comparison to the Oxford street / Hammersmith branches & again even the Hackney store is much larger in size & better selection than here. As the previous reviewer stated, this only adds to the cheapening of Ealing Broadway and follows the recent trend of shop closures and pound shop openings. I like this branch of primark. Hammersmith is quite well laid out and spaced out and, with the opening of other primarks nearby, is a lot less manic than it used to be at certain times of day it is almost pleasant to shop here! It has a good range of stock. Granted, not as good as Oxford Street, but it's a lot easier for us West Londoners to reach, not to mention the shorter queues! Hammersmith can still be pretty crowded though, don't get me wrong. Best to avoid Saturdays if possible as the queues can be very long! Overall, this branch doesn't have the biggest range of clothes but it has a decent one, and I'd rather come here than face the ridiculous queues in Oxford Street! read more

But the Hammersmith store does seem to be messier than other stores, most things I looked at today were not on the correct hangers which lead to a bit of a headache going through the racks. I've been to loads of Primarks, but I definitely prefer the Hammersmith Branch!!! It is nicely section, so it is so easy to browse for the items you like. There are two floors and I find myself spending an hour on each floor. The selection is fantastic, but it can get really messy. I would definitely advise people to visit the store during school time, as from 3.30pm it becomes overly crowded and the store is practically tipped upside down!!! read more

Not a very good primark as they go, although i'm not their greatest fan anyway. The queues at the cash desk are horrendous and i've walked out a few times in disgust. They do try to keep it clean though but you'll probably trip over things on the floor during peak times. I preferred the shop when it was Beales - Ealing needs a department store not more cheap clothes. read more
