I was almost certain they wouldn't have what I was looking for because of the location, I know downtown Brooklyn doesn't usually get the same inventory as stores in the city. I didn't see wide leg high waist jeans anywhere on the floor and couldn't identify an associate because the store was crowded and employees are in plain clothes. I made my way to the fitting room because I knew for certain an employee would be there. She looked up what I was seeking and it showed unavailable, Charlotte entered the fitting room and the fitting room attendant referred me to her since denim was her section. Charlotte dropped what she was doing and took me over to the section with the other exact jeans I came looking for (I wear glasses). The exact wash I was seeking wasn't available but she found me an alternative that was even better. She made sure I was signed up to earn reward points and was just so pleasant, and seemed like such a genuine employee who love what she did. I got on the line and made my way to the register, the cashier was sweet as well and patiently waited on me while I decided on a pair of socks and explained to me the benefits of getting them now Vs. Later. Everyone was so helpful, I almost felt like I was in a commercial lol.

I visited today and their current promotion of $8 PJ pants was pretty good. Everything else in the store was 40% off. I didn't make a purchase but noticed the long checkout lines. It's to be expected with the upcoming holiday although it's typically like this here. For quality clothing, Old Navy ranks last for me after Banana Republic and Gap which accounts for the 3 stars, location aside. I've been here enough and there are some fun items for all ages.

Most boutiques or stores on Smith street have employees that to begin questioning you the second you come into the store. They also have a nice selection of merchandise for a small store. Love it here!

There is a store manager in store that saw me standing in front waiting to come in, and he said nothing. Not even, Im sorry mam we are running behind to open up this morning. This is the closest one to me so so I frequent this often when I'm not buying online. The location in the Gateway Mall for me is great since the B13 that is up the block from me leaves me right inside the mall. Many other buses come here, too. The store is on the small side. As opposed to the location in Downtown Brooklyn I used to frequent that had 2 floors. They make do with the space they have. Store is laid out nicely. Lingerie in the back and everything else the front. When I came here on Sunday, I had my arms full of clothes to try on. A nice associate took them from me and set a fitting room up for me. The dressing room is very spacious and nice. They aren't policed so you can go in and out as you'd like. I usually only buy stuff here when it's on sale, clearance or I have the Lane Bucks. Shopping here otherwise is outrageous! The prices are insane, not to quote Crazy Eddie! Is the quality good? Yes. Are the clothes nice? Yes. $60 for a t-shirt?! C'mon now. Do sign up for the Lane Bryant card. You get good rewards. They always have some sale going on so it'll be rare that you'd need to buy something at the regular price so that's a good thing.
