I went to the salon to get the nails removed and was told "it's usually $20 but because we think it's our fault you would pay $10" Considering I have been a loyal customer for 2 years, have never had a fungus in my life, and was blatantly told it was their fault, I'm not sure why I would be required to pay anything? No suggestions for healing were provided, was just told to let it grow out. Resulting in additional payments for anti fungal treatment. I returned my fully filled out customer card with the intentions of never coming back.

I got my first set of acrylic tips and nails a few weeks ago. I went this past Sunday to get a fill in and there are apparently only a couple of techs in this salon do acrylic nails. The girl that did my nails was not the person that normally does my gel manicures. The manager/owner assured me that this nail tech was very good. When I sat down I told her that I did not want gel on top of my acrylic because I noticed she had a bottle of gel nail color and she said OK. Then she told me it was going to be $70 for a fill-in and I almost fell out of my chair. I've never paid more than $30-$40 tops. I asked her again are you sure you charge $70 for a regular acrylic nail fill and she said yes. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just sat there and let her do my nails at a premium which is ridiculous. Plus she put gel on my nails after I specifically told her I did not want it. She had quite an attitude with me as well. I really should have requested a refund or gotten up and left but I didn't. So after almost a year of having pleasant experiences I will no longer go to this salon. To have been charged that amount of money for a simple fill in is ludicrous and they should understand that there are nail salons pretty much on every corner that people can choose to go to. They used to provide more detailed regular pedicures but now I guess you need to upgrade your pedicure to get anything. This felt like a no frills pedicure. The girls are always nice here.
