I have used Pride for years. Their prices are reasonable, they have a great mechanic, and fast turn-around times. I just wish they were closer to my territory, hard to find good, full service lawn and hardscaping business. read more

Similar to previous reviews. Worker could not be bothered to answer my questions or even help me on what I needed. Owner stepped up (assuming based on his behavior) to help but was rude and also with an attitude. He asked derogatory questions, like, asking for plans/prints, and info for project as to belittle my purchase. Once I was able to answer a few of his rude questions, he gave me an estimate on items, he expected me to pay that. He then hands off this transaction to Oscar, his worker, and said, this is why I wanted him to help you so you can understand better. I think he was referring to my Spanish, even though I was speaking plain English. After he said that, I had enough. I made a remark about their unwillingness to help and there excuse was that they just opened. After a few exchange of words, the owner basically stated to leave and buy my items at Home Depot. His minions, at the counter all continued to attack with statements/remarks as I walked out with my dignity. Small men with big pride. read more

Pride Landscape Supply - Home & Garden Near Me - Parlin, New Jersey

Absolutely horrible customer service. Have been there many times over the years for multiple landscaping items, and was made to feel as if I was an imposition to them. The only time they're seemingly happy is when you're buying costly products from them. I bought an expensive sit down commercial mower from them in 2024, and within two or so weeks it broke down. When I called the guy who sold me the machine was rude and bothered. Waited a month, and they fixed the part. Same part broke a couple months later in August. It's April 2025 and I'm still waiting for the part. Called me up in January of 2025 to tell me part was in. Went there today to see they ordered the wrong part. Parts person was very nasty, and another person automatically took the obnoxious parts persons side. Personally, I will NEVER patronize this store. I'm done with their nasty, rude, obnoxiously personalities. read more

I wanted to spend money here. Like buy a brand new Stihl Chainsaw for my husband kind of money. Unfortunately the guy at the front counter couldn't be bothered to help me...or actually, I really should say.... the fact that he had to help me, bothered him. For some reason...I doubt the owners/management really care about my bad experience, my bad review, as they seem to be very busy with Contractors. My review boils down to this...if you have no interest in making front counter sales...DONT OPEN A FRONT COUNTER. read more

If you are a do it yourself, stay the hell away from this place. The people that work here are utterly rude, and there is no customer service. There is no one to help you other than at the counter and there isn't any patience by the staff once you get to the counter. They give you no time .Unless you speak landscape jargon be prepared to be made to feel stupid, because that is how these people treat you. I went to ask for a quote about the amount of gravel I needed for a paver job I'm doing and the counter person started out by saying he didn't understand a F of what I was asking (a good way to F a sale if you ask me) . I will not patronize an establishment, wherein the a customer is not respected, because they don't understand something. I'm very patient and will let most things go, but this place really deserved a crappy review. I went to another landscaping supply business and the experience was a complete opposite. The people there were super friendly and helpful and even one guy went out of his way to explain the different gravel (I didn't know until later he was the owner) , he was very patient, explained things to me, and gave me his time. I will spend my money there for years to come, but not Pride Landscaping. BTW from what I heard from that business owner Pride Landscaping doesn't have business ethics as well. A piece a crap business if you ask me. read more

Can't complain the owners are nice, prices are reasonable. The place has a lot more than you think just looking from the outside. I've purchased pool sand and top soil on separate occasions from these guys and everything was great. I even bought a wheelbarrow which I needed to cart the topsoil around and they brought it with the soil the same day. I did try and buy concrete from them once and have it delivered but there policy is their people won't unload it, so that was my only negative. The reason I would pay for concrete to be delivered in the first place was so I didn't have to to all the labor in the first place. read more

There proffesionalism and service was very unprofessional. I called regarding my order and was told there was no order. Finally when my order magically found, I was told a time of delivery and waited over 2 hours for it. When it finally arrived they dumped 9 tons of base material on the side of my customers garage, almost messing up the next door neighbors Benz. When calling again, speaking to another manager, he used profound language and being unprofessional stating "sorry we fucked up your order, sorry we fucked up your delivery, and sorry we're a fuck up" and hung up the phone. I am very disgusted and would not recommend any service like this to anyone regardless of popular products and reputation. read more

I brought my home depot purchased lawn mower to pride after the self-propelling unit failed to propel. It was under normal usage, I bought the unit in may and it was broken by July. The manufacturer listed Pride as an authorized service center so I took it there. It wasn't close but it was the closest one. My experience overall sucked. The guys there talked down to me like I should be an expert on lawn mowers. Then, they gave it back to me "fixed" and told me it wasn't covered by the warranty. I took it home and went to cut the grass and it broke within 10 minutes of my 1st use. I called the manufacturer and complained. They then suggested a service bulletin which Pride should do and that would be covered under warranty. So, I hauled the lawn mower back to Pride and had to convince them to do the service bulletin and insure it was done thru the warranty. I then tried to get a refund back for their shoddy incompetent work. 5 phone calls later, no refund. Here's to you pride, you clearly have none. read more

Always have had a great experience at Pride. I usually do the work myself, and have learned over the years you get what you pay for in the beginning when you purchase a machine! They have fantastic prices. And that old time humor that you cannot find much of anymore!!!! read more

Very honest guys with regards to repairs. Have always had a part I needed, even if they don't sell the brand. As a pro landscaper this is very nice to know will have on hand. If it grows they don't offer it, however anything and everything for what grows they have in stock. Also they have a nice assortment of toro dingo attachments for rent. read more
