I've been here plenty of times for annuals, perennials as well as supplies. They've been around forever (like me). Since my favorite place for seed and lawn supplies recently folded I needed a new place for that stuff. Stopped in here and had a really knowledgeable young guy help me select some grass seed along with weed & feed. I'd been going to the previous shop for several decades and wasn't looking forward to searching for comparable products. But this place had what I was looking for with knowledgeable staff. read more

Beautiful farms with a huge selection of flowers, plants, herbs, and vegetables. They also have beautiful stone and ceramic garden accents for sale. After visiting several farms in the area, this one is definitely the best, with the biggest selection of beautifully cared for plants. Their prices are higher than the other locations, but rightfully so. Their products are so well taken care of and vibrant. I didn't see one dwindling flower while I was there. Definitely a one-stop-shop. read more

Rude staff and management Terrible customer service Some employees are not wearing masks Tried to buy a plant on sale and was given the wrong price. Asked for a correction and was given the wrong price again. Yelled at by cashier and told they were doing me a favor by giving me the right price. Took a picture of the price and showed the correct price to the manager. Manager did not apologize for the mistake, but supported the cashier's rudeness and said it was hard to keep up with the prices because they change them so much. Customers shouldn't have to wait on long lines and deal with frustrated employees because of the store's poor management. read more

My 22 yr old son.Took me here to get ideas.About what I liked for my birthday in a few days.We have been customers of this store.Since he was a kid.The variety of things to purchase is amazing.From gorgeous outdoor statues.The best place to get unique gifts for any occasion.The prices are excellent.The staff is always so helpful.Even at their busiest times of the year.As an ex business owner I am utterly impressed.At how well they deal with customers.My son and I saw some very rude behavior.Given to a salesperson for no reason.Always be kind to others.Especially when you are shopping in their store.While there I made sure to thank a staff member.This is truly the place to go.Thanks a million for everything! read more

Brock's used to be so much better. Years ago, during fall time they had an amazing selection of pumpkins and even these adorable mini pumpkins with hand-drawn designs and characters, sometimes they even had cute little fuzzy patches of hair! They also had a really cute setup in the back of Halloween decorations that doubled as a little mini haunted house vibe. It seems like there's a lot less of that nowadays. read more

Would not accept return for Christmas lights (unused and still sealed in package) because it was beyond 7 days after Christmas. We were away until Jan 11th. I was told that "they already packed Christmas items away". What? Really? C'mon. They are overpriced anyway... they can afford to honor unused items with receipt. Ridiculous Brock Farms! read more

I have been travelling from Staten Island annually to visit the nurseries in the area. I saw an ad for a 50% off sale so I decided to take another trip. First of all the sale was for non-sale items so they place the plants they don't want to discount at a small discount disqualifying them from the sale. I finally purchased a fountain and was assured that I would get a new pump. When I got home I saw that the pump was very used and the fountain didn't work because the cork the "expert" included was the wrong type. I called and was assured that they would sent a replacement out immediately; they even said they would sent two. Well more than a week passed and no corks! I called and was told that they were doing me a favor and it will come when it comes. Needless to say that is the last time I will grace them with my presence especially since the other nurseries in the area are much less expensive. read more

I always have such a great experience when I visit Brock Farms in Colts neck. The staff is just so helpful. They spend as much time as you need to understand the answer to any questions that you may have. They are extremely patient. The owner Eddie, is very hands-on. I see him in the greenhouse talking to customers while dead heading plants. Great personality and very knowledgeable. read more

I put in an online order the day before scheduling a curbside pick up at this location. I was contacted the following day and was told the price due. When I asked for an itemized explanation of my bill I was told they would have to text it to me since they were busy. I accepted this fact even though The list was not long. However, I did not appreciate the young women's harried and curt attitude.I called To pay and did ask one question. At that time I was put on hold and was then told I could not avail myself of the curbside pick up as I might have to return items and they did not want that happening. ! ? I gave no indication of this. In addition,The tone of voice and annoyed feedback from the young employee again was very disconcerting. I am a senior and could not make it into the store. I get my best advice from their individual departments, I.e., Pond, Gardening, etc. , and they will even help me when I have called via phone to find out if they have something in stock. Quinn knows all about fish and ponds and is one of my very favorite people! She could not be more helpful and kind. Really goes out of her way for you. Brock farms has a great selection of everything for your pond, garden and front lawn. Not only is their merchandise awesome, so is their staff. Everyone asked us if we needed help and pointed us in the right direction but Quinn from the Aquatic section was absolutely fabulous!! She was Knowledgable, friendly and fun! In the gardening world, there is probably not much they don't have. Huge selection of plants and supplies. Sadly, the prices are far and above anywhere else around here. Right near Delicious Orchards, we stopped on our way home. We purchased our mums and pumpkins. They have a halloween section, with scenes set up to view and items for purchase. There are all size pumpkins and various sized mums, as well as other plants. Staff was friendly and it wasn't too crowded, so we were done pretty quickly. Prices are reasonable. read more

My wife and I went to Brock Farms in Colts Neck first thing this past Sunday morning, April 26, 2015. We were undertaking a large project (choosing plants/trees for an area exceeding 50 feet of mulch beds). We brought our dog Spicy with us. We were greeted by Brenda, who we found to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. She made our shopping experience very pleasant, fun, and overall a breeze. She helped us select 20 beautiful plants and trees. Spicy got lots of loving and attention from Brenda too. The Brock Farms owners even arranged delivery that same morning, so we could get right to completing our project. Stay away from this business.....What a disgrace....I had a poor business experience ....I purchased a product of which had to be delivered....The sales clerk informed me that I would receive a phone call as to when it would be delivered....I never received the call.....I had to call 4 times, left messages twice.....On the 5th call I spoke to the person in charge and was informed that she would call me back...I waited 35 minutes...no phone call!!!!!..I drove back to the company and canceled my order....It's a wonder how a business that should require remedial business.customer service skills is still in business...Needless to say, I will never do business there again.... read more

I went to Brock Farm & Garden for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed with the selection of plants that they carried. The nursery was large and included a nice assortment of plants, flowers, lawn and garden statues/figures, waterfalls and vegetables. The staff was available and very helpful. I am going to back to purchase some plants to create a new landscape in front of my house. I will also be buying some of the vegetables to plant a garden in my yard. I would recommend to go to this nursery for all of your landscape and garden needs for a nice assortment at an affordable price. read more

I was building my pond and went to Brock farms at Colts Neck location. A lady with Pond expertise helped me buy liner, pump, and filter. She didn't try to sell to me expensive stuff but advised to start slow and build up as per needs. I bought a top brand pump that broke down after three months of use. I took it to the store with receipt and store owner Eddy's son identified a part broken inside the pump. They said they do not sell that company products anymore (probably because of poor quality) and weren't sure how to help me. Supervisor Paula spoke to Eddy and they checked their storage and brought me a new pump that they were going to send back to the company. They were happy to replace my pump with the new pump. They could have comfortably asked me to contact manufacturer. But, they stood by their products and gave utmost importance to customer satisfaction. Eddy came to speak to me to make sure I am happy. I am highly impressed and I highly recommend people to confidently shop. read more

I have been to the store many times in 28 years for a small purchase. I went there a October 28, 2013 they said they where not ready for Christmas. So I went to another store and purchased $800.00 worth of Christmas decorations.Today I just went on the web site saw a nativity that I would have been Interested in and spoke to Mrs. Brock herself and ask her some questions about the web site she said it just an advertise. Alright then give me the price of the item. She want my phone number which I gave her, but I explained I wanted the price of the item on the web site which gave no description of the item. She said I can't handle this and very rudely hung up on me. I believe she may have been helping someone else at the same time. I am understanding, she should have asks if I mind waiting. But I feel they don't have the items they advertise and don't know how to advertise properly.
