One of the best places to get landscape material, trees and shrubs. VERY knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Great selection, easy to find.

HOLMDEL: A. Casola Farms is a beloved, family-owned farm and nursery that has been part of the…read morecommunity for generations. Known for its fun seasonal events like the Fall Fest, it is also a great spot to visit with your pup as leashed and friendly dogs are welcome to join in on the fun! Brie had the best time sniffing through the pumpkin patch, browsing the Halloween shop for festive decorations, and taking in the delicious scents of fresh-baked pies and warm apple cider donuts from the market. She even posed with life-size character cutouts and joined us for a wine tasting from @foxhollowvineyards tasting stand. The farm also features a corn maze, hayrides, a craft station, and an abundance of pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, and other fall favorites. When winter rolls around, A.Casola Farms transforms into a holiday wonderland with a Drive-Thru Light Show, a charming Holiday Shop full of decorations & gifts, and beautiful Christmas trees and seasonal plants are for sale. Note: There are farm animals on the property in fenced-in spots, Brie couldn't resist a few barks, so keep your pup close and use caution when passing by them!

Within ten minutes the florist, who was lovely and attentive, had an absolutely beautiful bouquet pulled together (we watched her do it - she truly made it look effortless) and we on our way. Mom was surprised and very happy. Skip the grocery counter flowers and visit Silver Tulips next time you go visiting. It was the same price as a premade bouquet from Whole Foods but the quality and artistry was vastly superior.

When attempting to pick up the order at the time we agreed on just the day prior, I was told they couldn't find it...after answering 20 questions and showing my online credit card statement I asked for a refund. That apparently was a no no. The 'big' guy who worked their apparently couldn't handle the 'stress' of Mothers Day weekend and literally started yelling at me. Honestly, screaming at me, in front of other customers....unreal. I am a grown man and don't expect to be yelled at. I was more than accommodating during the fiasco, never once raised my voice (and the others in the store know it, as do all the customers who were there) ... Obviously will never go there again. This place is an embarrassment to local businesses. The excuse given (by a pleasant woman when taking my info for a refund) was that they were busy because of mother's day. Perhaps less business will help in the future.

I was on the hunt for something festive and when I saw Oak Hill Farms on Instagram, I couldn't wait…read moreto visit. It was such a fun find! It's a market, shop, cafe all in one. There isn't any place to sit and sip your drinks, but instead of sitting, you can take your latte for a stroll around the shop. This seems like a great place for stocking stuffers and gifts. They have lotions, soaps, candles, holiday decor pieces, ornaments. All things that everyone loves to receive and rarely buys for themselves. If you are in more of a window shopping mood, they have samples of everything. At the cafe counter (also where you can pay) you'll find a small but mighty coffee menu. I got the gingerbread latte and loved every sip. My coworker got the latte with hot honey in it and said it had just the right kick. For a place that doesn't seem to specialize in coffees, they did make two wonderful drinks for us. There was plenty of parking and it looks like they do quite a bit outside (maybe on the weekends?) with the tree lot and farm in the back.

There were plenty of spots on a Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. When you enter you go through these giant barn doors. The inside is a lot of fall decor with candles, bakeware, kitchen towels, all the cute home stuff that makes your house extra cozy for fall. They also have a little coffee area too but I had already gotten coffee earlier so I didn't order any. Although everything was super cute, it was also a bit pricey so I unfortunately only bought some lotion which was really moisturizing and smelled AMAZING. Something I really liked is that you could sample most of the lotions and sprays so although I didn't buy them, I could at least try them out. If you go through the back exit, you enter the farm portion with a little pumpkin patch, donkeys, and sheep! There were a few places for "photo ops" too. If you walk further there's actually a little garden/flower field which was really nice to walk around and take pictures. You couldn't pick any flowers at this time but maybe we could've earlier in the season in the summer. This was a cute little farm that I would come back to for another season to see how they change it up. Although some of the items were pricier I would come back to get something as a gift. I think there's a lot of nice stuff to give for a housewarming and it's good quality too.
