5 stars is well deserved. This company was referred to us by a fellow firefighter. My father borrowed my husbands car one day while they were in town visiting. He noticed the car was a rough ride, and needed some work. While my husband was at work my father met with a longtime friend who referred my father to Pride Auto Repair. He stopped in with no appointment, and asked if thy could help, and how long would it take. Their Sterling Heights location was busy, but they old my dad about their new shop in Clinton township having openings. My dad headed over and was quickly helped with not only service but fast and knowledgeable service. While my dad was waiting my dad was going to call an uber as he was just visiting and didn't have another ride. Jason the manager contacted another employee to drive my father home until service was complete! What top tier service, talk about going above and beyond. Jason talked to us honestly about their work, what we should look for in the future in regards to our specific vehicle, and per Jason "I treat others the way I'd want my own children treated if they went in for help with their vehicles" I'd truly say it's the family service. He was great! I totally recommend this business for fairness on price, excellence on customer service and great knowledgeable work. For insight: we received new break pads and rotors. read more

When I dropped my Yukon Denali, it was in great shape, except for the engine repair that they were supposed to do. Dave gave me compliments on my well cared for vehicle. When I picked it up filthy, damaged stolen original accessories, replaced with old damaged rusty parts. They kept calling me, adding on more work, more money. I have so much more to say about the thieves in this facility, more to come. Very deceitful practices at pride auto repair. Did I even need all of the work they charged me for from 250.00 to almost 7,000.00 I paid them to steal off my well taken care of the vehicle. Smdh How many other people have you done this, too. Am I not supposed to know my own vehicle that came in great condition and left in a severely damaged state, dusty, rusty, broken. You destroyed a perfectly, well taken care of the vehicle, even switched up stickers, etc. Not my Yukon Denali, I absolutely regret ever taken my vehicle there. Traumatically devastated at the treatment of my truck, or is it my truck with all of these stickers I've never seen. I paid to take my vehicle to a chop shop. And I'm pissed off. Pride Auto repair provided me extra courteous service. They repaired my brake lights and muffler in a timely manner. They also explained why my brake lights did not work even though they had been replaced. And put on a very good grade muffler at an affordable price. read more

After a very bad 1st experience here I was contacted by a manager that was very courteous to rectify any problems I experienced. Unfortunately I haven't been able to visit these guys but I have a very close friend that told me he swear by these guys work on automobiles. I used this place as a referral from a very close friend and was horribly let down. I brought my vehicle in because my vehicle was smoking and it appeared to be under the hood, coming out the drivers side hubcap leading me to believe it was my brakes. The owner had his mechanic look at it and gave me a quote for $735 to repair frozen calipers, rotors and pads on the front of my vehicle as well as rotors and pads on my back brakes, an oil change and a tow fee. I had just had my front pads changed and my rotors were smooth 2 days prior but they said the smoking, burning brakes caused my rotors to warp due to the frozen calipers. I picked my vehicle up the next day and my keys were on the front counter. The owner apologized that they were out in the open like that and said that the mechanic had forgotten to do my oil change so he did it last minute. I then left the shop and immediately began experiencing the same problem, the burning smell and the following afternoon, smoke under the hood. I took it back to Pride and after paying them $708.17 the day before, the problem was actually my thermostat leaking onto the exhaust causing the smoke. It was a $60 problem and covered under warranty under my regular shop so they paid for it. In the end I am out $708.17 for no reason whatsoever other than they made up issues and severely overcharged me. I received the same quote for brakes, oil change and tow for $200-300 cheaper at B's Collision. I will steer everyone I know clear of Pride Auto Repair. It is disgusting how they diagnosed my vehicle so erroneously. read more
