That wouldn't have been so bad being asked for that EXCEPT that my husband went several months ago for his covid jabs (both of them) at the very same AuBurn Pharmacy and he was never asked for his Medicare # - and, mind you, he has the very same insurance that I do. So, I went on their website and sent them my Medicare # several days after receiving the jab VIA EMAIL - but they don't check their email. This is ridiculous. My husband didn't get this hassle whatsoever! I thought these covid jabs were supposed to be FREE. What an absolute mess! But I have always had a long wait for both scheduled vaccinations and prescription pick up. The photo area is never staffed so you will need to wait for someone at the front to come and get your order. This is normally not an issue, though sometimes I have had trouble finding a staff person on the floor to help. This location is fine for a quick stop to get basics.

As we all know there is a shortage and I happened to come across the formula my baby is able to tolerate . He breastfeeds and is sick so I wanted to have formula as a result of him not being able to nurse effectively during illness. The line was extremely long and there were two cashiers . When I get to the register the cashier is a middle aged gentleman and he was clearly panicked and flustered . He had one customer standing to the side of the line waiting for his further assistance and when I gave him coupons for my Similac formula he said "I don't know how to process these." So I said "oh well is there anyone you can ask for help or someone you can call to get clarification ?" He said "nope . There are only two of us here ". I replied ," Is there another manager on call that could answer a question for you over the phone or another store you can call ?" His reply : "no " . So I said " well on the coupon it has instructions for the retailer , let's try those ." The cashier points his finger in my face and says " easy there !" I replied in the most calm manner "sir , please don't tell me "easy there" that's unprofessional and not necessary . I'm only asking you to do your job and help me purchase this formula ." He then points to the door and says "GET OUT! I won't be spoken to this way !" The other customer that was waiting to the side became wide eyed and said "well maybe the other cashier can help her..." I then told the cashier " sir I'm not going to leave the store. You can't tell a customer to leave simply because you're frustrated with your long line and you don't know how to process a coupon ." The cashier replies "well go over there maybe he can do it ..." he then yells over to the other cashier across from him (who was a newer employee come to find out ) and he says "I don't know how to do it maybe you can ..." So I then go over to this new cashier who was kind but also very much clueless . I ended up leaving the store without the formula and proceeded to contact Walgreens corporate office . It has been almost two weeks with no response or follow up form this store. I called corporate again today and they are going to escalate the complaint . I refuse to let this go because it was a very dehumanizing , derogatory and unprofessional experience that did not need to occur .

So on a 90 degree day someone left their dog in their car. Like any decent human we let customer service know what kinda car it was and they just asked if the windows were cracked, and they were, then seemed to brush it off. We were in there for about ten minutes and was still there the dog was panting pretty fast when we came out so we called non emergency and waited to see if someone came to the car. Now knowing that it was an employee's son that was shopping and picking her up made it 100 times worst. They could've pave the car owner or just talk to her since they known and do something about it. I was enraged and called to talk to the store director, who had a nonchalant attitude about it and immediately knew who the car belong to. And said that they don't do anything about animals only for kids. Just saying animals are living creatures too so maybe she should sit in the car for 15 minutes at least on a day like this and see how she feels when no one does anything to help. Never in my life will I step foot in this place again!
