Small, old, run-down Price Chopper. Very narrow aisles. We just went in to grab wine for the room; there wasn't much to look at here either. Super surly cashier but I would be too, cashiers are placed directly in front of the main doors and the draft was terribly chilly. read more

Price Chopper - Shame I don't like root beer because these cans were nice - Grocery Near Me - Lincoln, New Hampshire

Closest "large" grocery store near Loon, has most things you need for a ski trip. You need a price chopper card though to get access to some of the advertised discounts. Location is in a strip plaza, with a Mexican restaurant El Charro right next door. read more

It's a nice small peaceful grocery store We went to go get eggs, chicken, Hawaiian rolls, cake batter Nutella and we got those things without a problem. read more

Continuing to improve, it has more name brand items but being the only full super market in Lincoln, it charges more. Still, open late so it's worth it convenience wise. read more

Price Chopper - Looking back from deli section - Grocery Near Me - Lincoln, New Hampshire

I stopped in and bought a pumpkin. I also bought a couple of candles for my aunt and some apples for my flight home. After paying, I asked where the restrooms were. I was told that they don't have one. That is unheard of for a supermarket. Oh, well must be the consequence of driving the Kancamagus highway during peak season. read more

If Wen visits this place with low enough expectations, you will be pleasantly surprised. Not bad at all. Self checkout line had plenty of open registers on a Friday morning and the herbal tea selection is more than adequate. I would never want anyone to drive 20 miles to the nearest Hannaford's when they can get pretty much everything they need here at the Price chopper. All in all a positive experience. Thank you, Price chopper for providing people in this area with their essential services. To be anything less than grateful seems a bit entitled. Do we really need to focus on our first world problems when there are so many people around the world who lack even the basic needs for human survival? read more

This store is quite busy but shelves are often empty. The aisles are tight and often littered. Vegetable section is hit or miss. There's a strong stench coming from the meat department. read more

I thought my previous review was posted but somehow it wasn't. I went to the service desk to get one of their shopper cards for the discount.. I don't remember the name of the woman working the counter but she was absolutely miserable to me. The rest of the shopping experience was fine. Typical grocery store - they don't have all the brands but since you'll probably find what you want. It was easy to pick up the essentials and bring them back. Our cashier was pleasant and otherwise the visit was fine and prices were average. read more

Price Chopper - the outside of a store at night - Grocery Near Me - Lincoln, New Hampshire

By far the worst grocery store ever! One cashier working her lane and the self checkout lane. No other cashiers. At least 40 people in line. Horrible selection and very expensive. read more

The supermarket has a very limited range and unhelpful service. The only chopping happening here is to your bank account -- we spent over $6 on some guacamole, which is extremely expensive. There's not a lot of choice in Lincoln but if you're visiting maybe shop elsewhere. read more

While vacationing here, this was where we shopped for our general groceries. It's an okay place. The aisles, mostly at the ends, are a bit cramped. They don't carry a hug variety of products, but sufficient for a weeks stay. Prices were moderately good, but a just bit on the high side compared to most stores. I would not call them expensive, but they are not cheap either. They have plenty of parking and the checkout was fairly smooth and timely. read more

Over priced, poor quality of produce. Milk is usually outdated. Jean the cashier needs to go to customer training classes. She is rude and stinks of cigarettes. read more

My experience was not nearly as bad as the other reviewers. But I was looking for only limited items and shopping early morning. Easy parking, no lines at 8am. Got Keurig coffee cups but came back for some produce, beverages but was decent and what I expected. So no complaints from me. Hours okay during pandemic but my night owl status has become more daytime regular during pandemic. read more

Lincoln NH- My husband and I cannot believe what just happened in this store. We are camping in Lincoln NH and we are from Virginia. I was born raised in Maine then lived 10 years in NH before moving to Virginia. We were buying groceries along with a 6 pack of beer ( even though I am 65 and my husband is 67 ) I know I still have to show my ID-every state requires. Anyways, because my husband did not have his ID on him the lady would not sell us the beer. She stated it was a NH law and that everyone in the party must show an ID. I have never heard of such a thing!! and I couldn't find it when I googled it. what the hell people. read more

Ugh. We've been here about 5 years and reaaaaaly dislike this place. They have two states for produce: Rotten and underripe, choose wisely. It's pretty much what you would expect from a tourist town grocery store, or at least it would be if the Hannaford in North Conway didn't shame it daily. Here's our top tips for anyone visiting town: - If you're coming from the South, there's a Market Basket and giganto Walmart in Tilton just off 93, stop there to save money and stock up. - If you're coming from the North, just buy your groceries in Magog. Bienvenue a New Hampshire or something. - If this is a holiday weekend, there will be one rotten/underripe rutabaga left in the produce department and no chicken unless you like the feet. The lines will also be absurdly long, so plan a whole Saturday for grocery shopping. Absolutley do not expect to pop in to grab one or two things, this grocery store is your home now, you cannot leave it. - If you need one thing for an odd recipe you will not find it here. Look, the people are nice sometimes. There's a Redbox. It's a good place for folks in town to work. It's just that it's a shameful and exceptionally overpriced grocery store compared to other ski towns in driving distance. It's also odd that they let the employees smoke right outside the front door. I mean, what says "buy more food" than a mouthful of secondhand smoke just before walking in? read more

38 minute wait!!! Seriously, people are leaving full carriages of stuff. 2 registers for a supermarket with over 100 people in line. This place isn't cheap enough for this kind if wait. read more

smelt like old shoes had to get stuff off the top shelf so overall not the best could have been better

Limited selection of food Prices not that great Moldy raspberries left on shelf Had to wait 5m for someone to show up at the customer service desk I guess I am spoiled back home with places like Market Basket because this market is not very good Too bad they don't appear to have any other choice here in Lincoln read more

Price Chopper? Seems more like salary chopper. We are frequent tourists to the area and this store is a disaster. Woefully understaffed. Long lines (like 20 minutes plus) at any random time with one line open. It's supply and demand and they've chosen to underpay and overwork their staff rather than paying better and being properly staffed. Go elsewhere or lose half your day buying eggs. read more

If I could give zero, I would. Came here while on vacation; and I and my husband had a very unpleasant experience with one of their cashiers. She had attitude greeting us to begin with, and I had suggested that more items be put in bags ( as not to be wasteful ). She started to be cranky and grumbled, saying " it's your food do what you what" then she started to throw grocery stuff to the end of the rolling board at me and I questioned why she was throwing them and told her to stop doing that. She retorted " don't tell me what to do" so I got to her face and loudly told her that " I CAN TELL YOU WHAT TO DO BECAUSE I'M A CUSTOMER! " I expressed how very rude she was and I reported it to the manager on duty who really did not care and did not do anything about it. Staff is pathetic!!!! This place sucks. Good Customer service is non existent. They do give you attitude. I hope competitors can build their supermarkets in this town so Price Chopper would not have monopoly... WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!!!! read more

Dirty old store, poor selection of products, they don't even sell deodorant wtf? This was my only choice for shopping when staying in Waterville valley. The meats all look nasty asf, the only thing I liked about the place was the colorful staff. read more

Overpriced, limited selection & always very overcrowded as it's too small of a store and they're the only one in town. Make sure to go when you have a lot of extra time or late at night when no one is out. Be prepared to wait a long time to get your grocery shopping done read more

I Live in town, and use the store when weather makes it difficult to travel 20 miles for needed food. It is clean, has a Great staff who appear to be overworked. They have a fast turn over of staff and are Always looking to hire. This is an upper management design. The prices are HIGH, by 50 cents to a dollar more than Walmart per item. Meats are good, but cost high. As you can see they have a high profit margin. This means the locals have it the hardest. And I strongly feel, just because you are from out of town, it does not justify a (tourist) price for an item. Not Fair. I have also seen the push for self check out. Another way to employ less staff and increase profit besides the higher prices. Its a shame when companies get greedy. store is clean, great staff, overpriced. read more

Good local grocery store. We went to get basics for our meals for the week we were in town. They have beer and wine also, until 10:30 pm. Friendly staff, we didn't have their store card. They allowed us to still get the assorted store discounts. read more

This store is great for short term tourists or if you live locally and just need a few things. If you live up here you're insane to shop here all the time. We go to Hannafords or Walmart about twice a month for a full food order and use the Price Chopper if we run out of things or just need a few things. When I worked at a time share, if a guest asked where the local store was, I would gladly tell them and recommend it but I'd also tell them that if they plan to stay for the full week, especially with kids, you're better off driving the 20 miles to stock up for a lot less money. They do occasionally have some killer deals too! read more

When you're the only game in town, or in the area for that matter, you can get away with high prices and being a little rough around the edges. That said, it is a "port in the storm" to stock up on basics. I was able to find what I needed, but this store is small and overpriced. It was also very dirty and smelly. This is another store, that if you are too lazy to stop before you get there, it's your fault paying more for less. read more

My friend came to this location to buy a couple things including a bottle of wine. When the cashier asked to see his ID he showed her his valid passport. Not only did she refuse to serve him because of a made up law about needing to see his VISA as well as passport, but she made a complete spectacle of it and humiliated him in front of the rest of the people in line. I rarely leave Yelp reviews and only leave positive ones but it's important to me that this cashier is held responsible for her blatant bigotry and discrimination. I will be boycotting this Price Chopper and all other locations. read more

Scrappy over priced store with very limited variety not worth a grocery store name but more like a convenience store

Worst price chopper that I have no choice to go to. Small selection, horribly over priced, under staffed and the only choice you have in town. What a damn shame read more

After shopping I bought a small winning lottery ticket in the store. No one manned the service desk. I waited 20 minutes. Some staff were sympathetic. most seemed annoyed. Sure, it is small but I don't think there's much of a captive market to warrant a larger supermarket here. It is a little pricey, but the service is good and they have good quality read more

This is a smaller grocery store in a small town. I walked in, got what I wanted, and walked out. Cashier was friendly and shelves were well stocked. It's not a big y or a super Stop & Shop so if that's what you're expecting from a grocery store up here then dont go in. read more

The store is a mess, you go in for ready prepared food at deli and IF you are lucky you may find a Couple rotisserie chicken and not much else. Around lunch time one would think that fried chicken and other food items would be ready. I have been in there from 1045 to 1:30 PM and most of the time the only thing I find is the deli person leaning on the display case with nothing ready for food. The prices are way overboard and items are not stocked right. (make sense of this IF you can) buy one get one free and only one pack in the display case. One would think that at least two packages of meat would be there, but NOOO. So then you have to wait and see if the BUTCHER might worm out of his hole so you can ask for a second package. A lot of the staff are not very friendly and they make it seem that you are bothering them if you ask them a question. The Lincoln store is a drag on the ratings for others and I personally will be glad when the Market Basket in Plymouth NH opens, I will gladly drive the extra distance. Screw the locals with the prices and assortment, only there to get the money brought into town by the visitors. read more
