I've come for lunch now a couple times and both of my sandwiches were freshly made to order. Fresh local ingredients and exceptional staff to accommodate your requests. I have not been, however they do apparently have a brunch buffet on Sunday mornings. Very cute. Lots of trinkets and Knick knacks to look at. They have a great selection of grocery items as well. Truly a one stop shop. I highly recommend the Newbury Village Store for all your grocery, deli and bakery needs.

There is a section with Vermont beers that is separate from the other beer section. They also sell wine. The deli had two specials for Halloween, one chicken sandwich and one beef one. I chose the chicken sandwich. It had a lot of vegetables and tasted good. The people doing the deli seemed very happy. That's very different from most delis where it is just a job. That made the experience pleasant. Once we got our sandwiches, we went outside to the picnic tables next door at the ice cream place. I think that place is owned by the same people. The tables were very clean and the view of the village was beautiful. We enjoyed our lunch here and now we know why it sees a lot of business.

We stopped in on the way back one day to check it out, and it was nice to walk around and have a look. It was reminiscent of similar general stores I've seen in other somewhat rural areas such as Kentucky. A few people bought food and stuff like that, while I opted to check out a local skincare brand there. I'm not usually one for gift shops, but it was cool to visit. We were hoping to try some maple creamy, but didn't look like they had any of that there.
