All my Jane Austen fans lock in:…read more I was caught in that in between space of lunch which I missed and dinner which was a a few hours off at a potluck party. I Yelped this place (keep those reviews coming kids) and thought maybe I'd try to grab a savory chicken pot pie hand pie or something to tide me over. I didn't realize the pot pies were like dinner size lmao so I had to regroup. They had blueberry pie!! Now this is not remarkable in itself but all I wanted for my bday was to go to Acadia and have a lobster roll and blueberry pie on the big day and I had to change my plans for the SECOND year in a row. So in the words of Denzel I said to myself, "I'm leaving here with something." So I got a maple latte - lord. This is probably my fave coffee flavor - and a small blueberry pie for myself. There's a scene in the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice where Mariah Lucas is panicking over how to pack her trunk based on what busybody Lady Catherine DeBerg advised her. Here comes Lizzy Bennett, "Mariah those are your trunks. You pack them the way you want." OK well Amanda G this is your pie and if you want to eat a pie for lunch in your car then you do it. And did. 20/10. Did do again. The next day. With an apple cinnamon muffin and a maple latte.

My bf and I went to the ice castle event so we figured we'd try a local business!…read more Food - I would say that this ramen reminded me of another food review I did months ago, which also deserved a 1 star. There is no authenticity to this ramen, as it tastes like it comes from powdered tonkotsu broth packets (not homemade...). The egg, not marinated. The bamboo shoots, not marinated tasted like the canned water it lived in. The meat? Man, very strange meat, it truly had no flavor and I mostly got huge chunks of fat. Also, the portion is incredibly small, I usually don't finish my ramen but I did here, in half the time. I did order a taro milk tea, the boba was so old that it was a huge clump stuck to the side of the cup... Service - none really besides ordering at the counter, didn't have anything in stock for my bf to be able to drink since there's no bubbler just canned items or well "boba" Ambiance - really interesting decor choices, lots of areas with dust due to all the fake plants. The bathroom was also very scary looking and not well taken care of. This place deserves a 1 star, I do not recommend going here!!!

The interior is all hard benches now, but i couldn't get updated pictures as there were too many people to get good shots. There is an order stand, but you can also order at the counter. The service is fine, they take your order and give you your food, but you don't otherwise interact with them. I got shrimp har gow and miso ramen. The har gow skin is a little thick but otherwise very tasty. The ramen was right sized and all the ingredients were proportionate. Is it the best broth? No, it lacks depth and umami. But it's also not over priced like most other things in this town, so it's good enough to be worth a visit while you're here. I can't speak to the other major offering here because I don't like boba tea.
