Most of my reviews will concentrate on these two areas when rating a convenience store. Unless the service is spectacular/absolutely horrible or if the store is grossly dirty I'll rate them average. This store is below average. The coffee machines are kind of cool as they grind the beans in front of you but I'm pretty sure the beans are old as the coffee isn't great. I can live with poor coffee because caffeine is caffeine. However a dirty bathroom is unforgivable. At 6 am the floor was dirty. Hadn't been swept or mopped recently. You could see using spots and greasy footprint's in the grime. Toilet paper littered the floor and the sink was dirty. The sign in the bathroom proclaims really clean bathrooms but that apparently isn't true. The checklist on the door indicating an employee has checked and made sure it was clean was incomplete and dated for the day before. They stop for a bathroom break halfway through and this is the gas station they stopped in. The workers were really kind and fully prepared to handle the swarm of 50+ people all filing in at once. They have clean restrooms, a lot of snack and beverage options, and some good NH souvenirs. I definitely think this is the best option for a gas station within a few hours drive.

The 50+ year old male standing at the cash register was chatting with another 50+ year old male customer while the 18-20 year old female was sweeping the floor. The male employee was sexually harassing his female co worker, who was doing her best to make a joke if it. I drove slowly to Cumberland Farms. Even if their air machine worked it was expensive enough ( I mean it's just air) that I would've had to take money out of the ATM ( accruing a surcharge) and getting change from the cashier. I went to Maplefields. Not only did their machine work but it was free. On top of that if I wasn't drowning from the torrential rain fall I could have vacuumed out my car for free. I went inside to get something hot to drink. The cashier Tracey was busy but took the time to greet me in a friendly manner. Upon having issues with the coffee maker Tracey cane over and fixed it all the while being....pleasant. I know it's odd to say but I just don't see that often. Tracey made me feel like a valued customer. Tomorrow I will be calling Maplefields and speaking to the manager. The manager needs to know that Tracey is an excellent representative for their company.
