Most times I stop here, I notice some problem or person who is going to waste my time or complicate what should be simple. The air pump has been broken for a decade, but no one bothers to put an "out of order" sign on it so people continue to pump quarters into it. "Sorry no refunds. That's an Irving problem and we're a Circle K," is the refrain. When I pull in, all the pumps are usually full, but no one is pumping gas. No one is ever outside at this place. They're all inside buying cigarettes and scratch tickets or shooting the breeze with the clueless and careless attendant. If I pull in to an open pump, it's invariably out of order and someone pulls in behind me and traps me. Infuriating. What an absolute sh*t show waste of time this place is: Bad design, rude employees, thoughtless clientele, shoddy equipment. Fill up anywhere else.

They stop for a bathroom break halfway through and this is the gas station they stopped in. The workers were really kind and fully prepared to handle the swarm of 50+ people all filing in at once. They have clean restrooms, a lot of snack and beverage options, and some good NH souvenirs. I definitely think this is the best option for a gas station within a few hours drive.

The 50+ year old male standing at the cash register was chatting with another 50+ year old male customer while the 18-20 year old female was sweeping the floor. The male employee was sexually harassing his female co worker, who was doing her best to make a joke if it. The male behind the counter said "I'd love to beat her the way I beat my sister in law, with a 9" paddle....she bent over in front of me and BAM! And instead of being done at noon I returned to the lot where I park my personae at about 2020 hours. Unfortunately it was pouring rain and three of my four tires were almost completely flat. I drove slowly to Cumberland Farms. Even if their air machine worked it was expensive enough ( I mean it's just air) that I would've had to take money out of the ATM ( accruing a surcharge) and getting change from the cashier. I went to Maplefields. Not only did their machine work but it was free. On top of that if I wasn't drowning from the torrential rain fall I could have vacuumed out my car for free. I went inside to get something hot to drink. The cashier Tracey was busy but took the time to greet me in a friendly manner. Upon having issues with the coffee maker Tracey cane over and fixed it all the while being....pleasant. I know it's odd to say but I just don't see that often. Tracey made me feel like a valued customer. Tomorrow I will be calling Maplefields and speaking to the manager. The manager needs to know that Tracey is an excellent representative for their company.
