We visited the Brewpub twice during our stay, once for drinks and once for dinner and drinks, and had friendly service both times. They have a restaurant area, but since we had our pup with us, we grabbed a table on the patio right next to the Virgin River. The patio has a more casual, laid-back vibe than the restaurant. You order at the bar, they bring your food and drinks to the table, and if you need anything else, you just make another trip to the bar. We ordered the elk burger, which was very good, along with one of their specialty cocktails--the prickly pear margarita ($16). It was the perfect sipping drink while taking in the Zion scenery. Great ambiance, good food and drinks, and a dog-friendly patio right by the river. Pretty hard to beat as a way to cap off a day of hiking in Zion!

The real show was with the meats. We got a full rack, and they were delicious. Nice and juicy and easy to eat. We asked for extra BBQ sauce, and it was great. I cut the sandwich in half to see if my eyes were deceiving me but... no, definitely not cooked all the way. I get it. It happens! But when the server asked if everything tasted great, I told her no, and that the chicken was not fully cooked. She said "oh, that's not good" and walked away. She came back a few minutes later and asked if she could have another chicken sandwich made to which I declined. She then asked if I wanted a hamburger and I let her know that my appetite was not desiring any thing else at the moment and that I would just pick at the fries. She then brought me the bill for the full amount of the sandwich and the beverage - which I paid without complaining. $30 fail by me I guess. This seems like a staff training issue. Chef, servers, everyone. If people must pay for the food they ordered every time, you must make the food right, every time! Oh, and by the way... The bar stool seats are the worst I've ever encountered. They look cool, but are a pain in the a$$
